Gretchen is honestly the best! I'm a first time puppy mom and she helped me with all of the questions I had about my new baby. She was so helpful and genuine. I definitely trust her with my little one!
Brian has been very helpful in training our two new Havanese puppies and training us how to better communicate and work with them on house training and basic commands. We signed on for the 6 visit package (starting 2 days after the pups came home from the breeder) and think it was money very well spent. Brian is very punctual and reliable about keeping his appointments. Would definitely recommend him.
Cliff has the perfect demeanor for being a dog training specialist....both calm and assertive (with pets and their owners haha). When we first met Cliff in 2009 we had a newly adopted 8 week old puppy with a lot of negative puppy behaviors. So many skittish, destructive and biting behaviors though that we were advised by two other trainers and a couple of family members to "give her back" to the pound and that she would be a potentially dangerous family dog to keep around and "unpredictable" around young children. Cliff provided puppy training to us over the course of several months and helped shape Maya into a more mellow young dog that year. After we had our son, Cliff returned to help make sure the transition went smoothly, that our dog Maya would know her place and be safe around the new baby, including practicing walking Maya next to the stroller and wagon and anything that could potentially make Maya react negatively. Cliff was fantastic and Maya has been an awesome family dog these past 7 years. Great on long car trips, mellow and tolerant of kid grabs on ears and tails, never growls or snaps when our 6 year old son or other small children would jump around her or touch her treats or food. We are so grateful that Cliff saved her from the pound round 1. Then after moving away to the D.C. area, and visiting our parents back in South Florida, Maya had a negative experience at a dog boarding facility in Palm Beach Gardens. She had been attacked (unprovoked at her last stay at a Dog boarding facility in Virginia requiring stitches, etc.) and we didn't realize that she had probably also been traumatized by this event and her next experience at a dog daycare might not be as enjoyable for her. She got into an altercation with another dog and one of the daycare handlers and was kicked out of the facility never allowed to return. I was told by the trainer there that it is "sad when a good dog goes bad". I was devastated!! Cliff came to the rescue again. He offered to immediately pick her up from me and board her for a few days while I visited with my parents and to train her while boarding and see if he could correct some of those nervous and potentially aggressive behaviors. He helped her work through some of those issues and took her into the community interacting with other people and dogs and she returned to us quite happy and like herself again. We are so grateful to have found Cliff 7 1/2 years ago and because of him we have the best, most gentle family dog we could imagine. SO glad he saw the potential in Maya and helped us through those negative behaviors!!
Franco is an absolute pleasure to work with. He is amazing with my pit mix. His training is not only with the dog but with the owners as well. His knowledge is second to none and there were immediate results after the first lesson. After week 2 we have seen DRASTIC positive results. I recommend Franco to any and everyone who has any time of behavioral or psychological issues with their dog. He is the guy to fix the problems.
I had a very informative first phone call with Wendy and she gave me an important tips to apply to the training of my puppy. Next week we'll have a first lesson.
Lara was great! I hired her to walk my five month old puppy and she was extremely responsive, sent me a picture and gave me a rundown of his ‘activity’ during the walk. Will definitely be hiring again :)
Rosie has been training our goldendoodle (Derby) off an and on for a few months and has done a great job. He responds very well to the training and looks forward to her visits (and treats). I recommend Rosie for those looking for 1on1 training for their puppy.
She really helped with training my dog Bailey.
Very knowledgeable about unruly rescue young dog. Helpful advices. With construction going on in yard, they were able to board and train my puppy, who is so loveable but very energetic, and constant barking at construction activity. When I called for assistance, she came right away to pick up my puppy and board him so I could finish the construction in the yard without upsetting him.
Joyce did an amazing job with our two dogs, Dicey & Tipper. Before we sent them to her, walking them was nearly impossible. Joyce worked her magic and got them to walk side by side with no leash-pulling. She is an extremely knowledgeable dog trainer and is very patient. Our dogs love her! The best is that she sends daily pictures and updates. We know that our dogs are well cared for and loved when they go to Joyce. I highly recommend her for both dog-sitting and dog-training. Thank you Joyce!
They came out and really made me feel comfortable with training my dogs .They explained every thing was no rush answered all questions.
I have a blue Weimaraner who weighed 65 lbs by 1 year old. She had trouble with impulse control and constantly pulled when walking her. Every person and dog we encountered was her new BFF! I am petite and had trouble keeping her from jumping on passers by and from being dragged down the street. Brianna walked my dog and taught me techniques and gave me the tools to train my large puppy. It took a while to train my willful and high energy dog but I can now safely walk my full grown Weim, confident that we will enjoy our walk. Brianna is wonderful with animals, has a gift for working with dogs and training both the dog’s behavior and people on how to train their dog. Brianna is caring, knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. in my opinion, her fees are very affordable. She has also helped me through my dog’s skin rash issues by recommending skin remedies which have been helpful as I do not like giving her antibiotics. I cannot say enough good things about Brianna and highly recommend her. She has been my Dog Whisperer for the past 2 years!
I adopted a one year old Boston Terrier mix who is extremely energetic. I forgot what it was like to have a young dog. Needless to say, I hired Kelly and have been so impressed. First of all, she is extremely professional, enjoyable, no nonsense and always punctual. She has a common sense approach to dog training and the results have been great. I would recommend her to anyone, as she has only proven to provide more than I ever thought I could get.
A very nice team of professional dog walkers who take care of my two adult dogs and puppy Highly recommend them
Linda Greenfield is an exceptional dog trainer with a keen understanding of canine behavior and family dynamics. She is an amazing teacher and handler and I would recommend her to anyone interested in learning the art of dog training and how to strengthen the bond between you and your dog. Dog training has never been so much fun and rewarding. Thanks Linda!
We have hired Susan a few times to care for our dog, Carmel. We love her friendly and positive attitude. Love the pictures she sends of Carmel when we are away!
Megan was extremely helpful with my crazy puppy. I have a 7 month old Shiba Inu, they are known to be a very stubborn breed. She taught him sit and lay down at the very first visit! This girl has a gift with dogs, I definitely recommend her as your future puppy/dog trainer.
Very professional and knows how to deal with the different pet personalities. My chihuahua is very well mannered and house broken thanks to Edgar's training.
We have a 5 month old Goldendoodle that is a bundle of energy. Needed help with housebreaking, obedience, crating and leash walking. Marti assessed our dogs behavior and was confident she could work with her. We opted to send our dog with Marti for a 10 day boot camp and board her at her home. When our dog Harley came home Marti discussed all facets of her training and took the time to teach us hand commands and the proper cue technique to continue reinforcing what she has learned. Harley is 10 times more obedient, is a pleasure to walk, sits, stays and lays down on command. I highly recommend Marti for her knowledge and training skills. If you want a dog that you can be proud of give Marti a try you'll be glad you did!
A++++++++. Gari has become an invaluable asset to my family. I've worked with her for over 4 years while I've adopted two resecue puppies. We started out with puppy training basics (sit, stay, lay down, drop it, leave it commands etc.). As my dogs grew and developed their own personalities, she worked with us on behaviorial issues like digging, separation anxiety, chewing up carpets, howling. Our dogs are like our children and just like our real children need guidance and boundaries, so do our dogs. Gari has helped us create a happy and loving home for my entire family; children and dogs. She is 100% worth every penny but you have to be willing to truly work with your dog and put the time in. She's a gem.
My puppy Skye loves Apryl so much
