Really helpful! Takes the time to really get to know you which makes learning from him really comfortable. I will be recommending him to anyone who is looking for singing or piano lessons.
Jake is a really knowledgeable guitar player and teacher. I started at an intermediate level and he really elevated my performance standards and gave me great finger strengthening exercises and assignments. I'm confident he could teach any level of guitar.
I have really enjoyed my guitar lessons with Matt. I love that Matt allows students to start learning by focusing on their areas of interest. Matt is always flexible with my very busy schedule. Thanks for great lessons, Matt!
I had the opportunity to play with Alfredo professionally for over twenty years. He is an excellent musician and guitarist. His knowledge of musical forms and the technical aspects of the guitar makes him a valuable resource. I recommend Alfredo without reservation as guitar teacher for beginners who want to learn the basics and for those professional and advanced students more interested in learning advanced and sophisticated aspects of the guitar including complex styles as bossa nova, samba, tango and other Latin American rhythms on which Alfredo is a true scholar . It will be a privilege for any student to have Alfredo as a teacher and guide in learning the guitar.
Lessons in Your Home was quick to tailor guitar lessons for my daughter. The instructor has been personable and has built wonderful rapport with her. She is gaining strong foundational skills each week. I highly recommend them!
The best music school in all of Orlando and I think we have tried them all. Two of my kids and my husband take Piano and Guitar lessons with Elite Music Instruction. Very professional teachers.
Brian taught my daughter from when she was 9-11, then my stepson. He is the most patient and encouraging guide to the guitar we have had. He taught the basics, gave insight during the course of instruction, and truly motivated the kids to want to practice. I can't say anything but praise for how he engaged the student in music.
Ms. Minnie is an awesome, loving and an extremely caring teacher. Ms. Minnie goes out of her way to make the children feel special and very confident about themselves. Ms. Minnie holds 2 recitals each year and my Daughter looks forward to every single one. She commends each chil with beautiful trophies and always has a special speech prepared for each of her students. My Daughter has been with her for 2 years and has mastered the piano to the fullest. She is about to start taking guitar lessons with Ms. Minnie really soon. I would recommend Ms. Minnie to any child or adult who is looking for a loving and concerned teacher and friend. She is the greatest!!
I have only communicated with Mr. Toms to discuss my needs and to review his work. We have scheduled the first lesson. However, He has been very pleasant to work with thus far. Our first guitar lesson is scheduled for 5/9/15.
I have some difficulty playing the guitar due to a neurological condition and he is very patient teaching me. I have never taken music lessons. I also like his entusiam and motivates me in each lesson
Francisco is a great music teacher. My daughter is shy and she immediately took to Francisco. They developed a great relationship. Francisco had her playing two songs in no time. He also worked with her on her chosing selections that were good for her for school auditions. Francisco not only teaches the music, he teaches to the child, he recognizes where the child is and reaches them there. Within two to three lessons you hear the difference from your first lesson. I initially wanted to pursue lessons with Francisco as well however due to financial constraints only one of us could at that time. And after my daughter's first lesson, we realize she should be the one. We miss him terribly and have not found a teacher to his caliber yet - do not let his quiet quirky demeanor fool you - his is a all around great person - we miss him much! Should you come back to NY we will be your first clients!!!
Brian was a fantastic piano and guitar instructor for my daughter. He truly makes learning fun for a teenager. He was always on time, patient during lessons, and his amazing talent was inspirational. Plus he has a great personality and gets along well with parents. His fees are very fair, too. (My daughter stopped lessons because she went off to college.).....Additionally, Brian is a wonderful entertainer for parties. He recently played at my mother's 85th birthday bash. EVERYONE loved his beautiful classical guitar music.
I am offering lessons to beginners on electric and acoustic guitar at affordable prices. I have 15 years of experience on guitar, as well as brass and woodwind instruments.
As a teacher, I focus equally on formal technique and personal expression. Mastering correct form provides the foundation, upon which a student's capacity for the latter may grow. I view our time together as an opportunity to encourage musical and personal growth. My goal is to encourage discipline while fostering creativity. Maintaining the student's interest by adapting my teaching methods to every individual is an important focus, as is engaging the student by allowing him/her choice in the material we learn in lessons. This not only facilitates a cooperative environment, but also allows me to tailor my teaching style to the student's interests, strengths, and learning preferences. My tuition for private instructions are as follows: * 30 minutes for $25 * 45 minutes for $37.50 * 60 minutes for $50 I believe music theory is an important focus for a student to understand how tones relate to each other in any piece of music. These relationships will be explored aurally, visually, and tactilely in all lessons. In teaching, my goal is to encourage students to learn and grow independently. In my studio (or your home), mistakes are opportunities for improvement. For the duration of our lesson, you (or your child) are in a nurturing zone of freedom of expression. Join me in an exploration of personal talent and creativity. I have been playing guitar for 34 years, and have several years of experience in teaching beginning rock, blues, folk and have played professionally. I teach a combination of theory, and ear training using the musical style (and music) of your choice.
I've been playing guitar for about 7 years. I am experienced in live gigs and bands. I teach anything from classical to pop, rock and blues. I work for a reasonable price of $15 an hour, with a very flexible schedule.
I teach from the basics of guitar to music theory. I am very patient with beginners and understand that everyone learns at his/her own pace. I can teach how to read music or learn by simply playing by ear. I can teach all genres.
I am a very good guitar player with over 30 years of experience. I also do music production. Styles: Rock, folk, lead work, writing original music. I think reading music and music theory are important, but feeling the joy of music is the most important.
I am professionally trained from Belmont College in Nashville, TN. 37 years of professional performance enables me to pass on years of rare wisdom and experience.
