Vocal Coach

I had sung in a Christian band for several years but had taught myself all I knew so I wanted to change any bad habits and improve my overall pitch, tone, and range. Karen gave me vocal thinning and strengthening exercises and then began to teach me compression. She was extremely attentive to my specific needs and gave me coaching and exercises to help me sing our songs best. My pitch improved almost immediately. My tone and range were greatly improved so much that listeners who knew my voice commented on the dramatic change for the better. She showed me how to open my voice up and push it to its limits and beyond. I can't recommend her services high enough. She is so good that she has a lot of students and she is so dedicated to each one that when one has an event or recording session she moves heaven and earth to be there for them. In result the other students have their classes canceled or rescheduled. This can be frustrating for non-flexible timetables of the other students but the upside is that no matter the student, if they have an event or recording session, she will be there no matter what it takes. I can't speak high enough about her dedication and love for music and her students. If you are looking for the best vocal coach look no further.

I can honestly say Charlie has been an awesome teacher! I had a specific goal in mind when I wanted to take up guitar lessons on an improbable timeline. Not only did Charlie have full confidence in reaching my goal in time, but tailored the lessons from day 1 to what I wanted to achieve.

Pepina teaches violin lessons for my 10 year old daughter. We recently switched to her from another teacher. Of course she is a highly skilled violinist but she's also a great teacher. We have found her to be patient and encouraging and she uses positive methods of motivation. My daughter practices often so that she can impress her teacher.

As a 35 year old, who hadn't picked up an instrument in a long while, I was nervous to begin lessons with a new teacher and an undiscovered instrument. Miss Sharon put me at ease immediately and after the first lesson, I believed I could conquer anything. Like anything I've ever tried, you have to fail a lot to begin to regularly succeed. This is fundamental to truly learning any instrument. Thanks to Miss Sharon, I have the confidence she feeds me and praise she gives me as small signs I am progressing well despite my stumbles along this road of failure to mastery! She is truly knowledgeable in her instrument as well as an excellent teacher!

Maria Yerdon is an amazing teacher of both voice and piano. I have had experience with many music professionals, and taught both music and piano myself. It is Ms. Yerdon whom I seek out to further continue my own personal learning and development. Her passion for music is contagious and she conveys that to each and every student, no matter their experience level. It is energizing to learn from her, because she has a way of communicating hard to understand concepts in a way that makes them achievable to master. I value her as both a teacher and mentor.

Kristen is THE BEST. She has made me feel confident and comfortable every step of the way. She has a unique way of explaining concepts and ideas that makes learning very easy. She makes each practice practical. You can tell she really knows her craft and also that she cares, and wants you to learn and understand. I've had lessons from others in the past, and never learned anything. But with only three lessons so far, I've learned more with Kristen than 3 years in music lessons. I think that she has a true calling and passion in teaching. She listens and personalized her lessons to your specific goals. I am truly finding my own unique voice with each lesson. I'm excited each time we meet and I get better each time! I highly recommend anyone, of any age to work with Kristen.

Kevin has an amazingly obvious love for music and for his students as well. His high energy and good humor, makes students of any level feel comfortable and relaxed. Not only is he a phenomenal singer, he has a great talent for understanding what your overall goals are with your lessons. He knows the voice and I think that is the strongest quality in a vocal teacher. Thank you Kevin, you are wonderful to work with.

Provided good foundation to build on

My love and passion for music is portrayed through my students and the smile on their faces when they leave the lesson. I play music games with the little ones (ages 4 to 8 or so) to create interest. For the older ones, I use analogies to be able to read music easier.

I am a drum player. I began playing in church at the age of five. Then, I started playing in different churches that called me for special and non-special occasion. I also teach drums to those who want to learn how to play.

I teach piano, violin, and cello to both young and old. I have been involved with music all of my life and have past experience in teaching and performance. Music is fun and is fun to teach! I would love to teach you or your child at your convenience!
