How do I find someone to fix my sprinkler system?

You can find a sprinkler repair professional by conducting a little bit of online research. This gives you access to their ratings and customer reviews. Some customers will even submit photos of their sprinkler systems that were fixed by the pros. But before you hire a professional, contact them. Ask them questions about their expertise, tell them about your sprinkler problem and request free cost estimates.

How do I increase water pressure in my lawn sprinklers?

Figure out why your sprinkler has low water pressure and determine if you need to make any repairs. There could be an issue with the valve, a leak or the sprinkler heads may need cleaning. If the water pressure is low in your house as well (check your water pressure regulator), the problem may be with the municipal water supply.

Why is one sprinkler zone not working?

One sprinkler zone could be malfunctioning for several reasons, although the most obvious one — a closed valve — is often the culprit. Check to see if the main system valve is closed. It’s easy to forget to turn this back on after repairs. Other causes for failed sprinkler zones are electrical issues within the valve, timer, wiring or solenoid. A common reason is a bad connection that needs to be re-soldered.

Why won’t my sprinklers pop up?

Several problems can prevent sprinkler heads from popping up. For example, here are a few possible culprits:

  • The valve is partially closed.
  • There’s dirt, sand or debris between the sprinkler’s cap and riser.
  • There's low water pressure.
  • There are leaks in the water line.

Gilberto got my sprinkler system issues resolved in two hours. I just planted new sod and he tracked down and located deeply buried valves and repaired the solenoid for zone 2; installed 2 risers; replaced one sprinkler and relocated 2 more so that my sod would have sufficient water with complete coverage. I would trust and recommend him for all sprinkler maintenance and installation needs

Took the time to thoroughly test the system multiple times to insure complete repair. Also showed me several things about sprinklers that I didn’t know. This was above and beyond to take the time to answer all of my questions. I am very satisfied.

There were some parts that I needed them to follow up on, and they responded very efficiently and came back out to ensure everything was to my satisfaction which it was. Would highly recommend to anyone needing irrigation services!

Property Care Plus suggested a different model for my sprinkler system timer that was efficient and saved me money. After installation, we agreed to schedule the inspection for a later time due to the weather. He arranged a time, and rescheduled for Sunday morning and I agreed. He spent 3 hours to check my system. One zone was not working, so he assessed the problem and said it needed to be replaced. I did not agree to the price so he tried to repair it. It still did not work so, I agreed to leave one zone w/o water. He found a head that was not rotating. I did not want to pay an additional amount to have it rotate so we left it as is. I appreciated his time and his recommendations throughout the process of replacing my timer.

I’m pleased so far with the quality of his work repairing my sprinkler system but he needs to work on his customer service big time! I feel like he tried to get over on my with the cost. He showed up and started working without even checking in with me to tell me what an estimate would be. Two hours later, I had to come out and ask if he was done and he began writing up an invoice. Almost $360 and I questioned it. He tried to charge me for 3.5 hours labor when he was only there for 2 hours. When I questioned that he told me he had to drive from Jacksonville. I told him that was not my problem and he should have never taken a job in Orlando if that were the case. Furthermore, there is no mention at all for travel expenses. I could have hired plenty of other people that were local. Then he only took one hour off so still charged for 2.5 hours labor. Now I question whether he milked the clock on me and could have been done a lot earlier. I told him he needs to be transparent with his customers and should have never started a repair without going over prices first. That’s bad business. Also, you can’t just start throwing in charges on a written invoice for whatever you want and expect to get paid. I won’t ever consider hiring him again, even though he was nice. Can’t trust people that do things like that at all.
