I have been having Leslie start tutoring in math, and I can already see the difference . It is still early on, but so far, I am happy with this tutor. He is easy to understand, professional and easy to work with.
Mr. Stanley is a truly outstanding ACT/SAT prep coach. With his efficient writing and reading techniques, I have been able to gradually improve my times as well as answer quality. His son, Costan, is also very helpful and informative math tutor. In fact, Costan may have taught me more than my math teacher at school has. The way that Costan distributes the material is very simple and easy to understand. He thourougly breaks the material down to the point where it is nearly impossible to not understand. Altogether, my experience with both Mr. Stanley and Costan has been a great one that has helped me find tremendous improvement.
I met Andres when my son was in MIDDLE SCHOOL and was in great need of a MATH tutor as my husband had passed away and he was the smart one with mathematics. Andres tutored my son from Middle School and all of HIGH SCHOOL three sometimes four times per week. It is very important to mention that my son did very well in school, with very good grades. Andres was a motivator, he was very patient, explained the work so that he could understood, knew when to say.."you need to practice more"...gave assignments so that he would have better understanding through practicing......Now my son is in college, very confident, completed COLLEGE ALGEBRA and continues pursue other math challenges, thanks to the tutoring he received over the years. Wishing you great success Andres...in my books, you are the BEST. Patricia
I've been very bad at math my entire life. I flunked algebra three times before I called Arbor Tutors. The tutor was very understanding and nonjudgmental. I can highly recommend Arbor Tutors.
Ms. Werb is by far my favorite and the best math teacher I have ever had. To be honest math was always my worst subject in school, but by the end of the year I was convinced to join the math team at school... not for extra credit, not for a grade, but for fun! I'm so thankful to have been one of her students.
My son has learned so much!! He loves working with Louise. I feel confident the SAT will be successful

Ms. Gintz is tutoring my daughter in Algebra. She is getting a better understanding than she does from school. My daughter is very comfortable with her. I would recommend Ms. Gintz to any student that is struggling with Algebra.
I am extremely pleased wth my sons results. After his sessions with Dr. Dubler, he is a much more confident young man! He had taken the test twice and did not perform well at all. We just received his results and were amazed at his success. My son increased reading by over 160 points and math by 100 points. We are thrilled. I can't say enough about the services received and the life long effects it will have on my son . Thanks for everything!
He is a great Math and Physics teacher! He is compassionate, thorough, and overall a fantastic tutor! He really made sure I understood the concepts so that I would be able to grasp an understanding of my independent work. His teaching allowed me to pass the AP Physics C: Mechanics test with flying colors!

I tutor for students taking mathematics in elementary and middle school. I graduated from PBHS this May, and I am looking to make a small income in preparation for college. As for my math highlights, I scored a perfect score on the 5th grade FCAT math section. I took HS level math classes in middle school and ended taking AP calculus AB in senior year of high school. As for national standardized tests I scored 640/800 (SAT Math section) and a 29/36 (ACT Math section). With these under my belt I believe my skills are adequat to help improve others skills. I strive for results; students get tutoring to strengthen their skills, or even just to make it past the next test. I look into the academic futures of students so that they can learn and apply what they learned in a session to homework, quizzes and tests.
I am a certified math teacher by FLDOE and have been tutoring since 1991. I have teaching experience at the college level at Palm Beach State College (1998 through 2006). I am able to plan and instruct subject area using a wide variety of teaching aids and motivational and strategies to engage students in active learning as well as integrating technology into teaching. Almost all math tutors focus exclusively on the math part of it only, using jargon that may not be clear at all, and want to work only with prospective "A" level students. I take a more realistic approach: not every student wants or needs an "A" and I also focus on reducing math anxiety and effective test taking strategies.
