Julia has taught my daughter flute for 9 years, and she added piano about 7 years ago. Julia helped her through Middle School band and auditioning for and playing in Florida Youth Orchestra. My daughter now plays for fun and Julia ensures that whilst she keeps learning, her lessons are fun, and she plays the kind of music that most appeals to her. Julia is an excellent teacher who ensures her pupils enjoy learning.

I was lucky enough to secure a spot for private piano lessons with Julia Holden. My daughter finally was excited about playing, practicing every night and proud to play for friends and family. I have to credit Julia for making that difference after we struggled with other piano teachers (I travel from Weston). Julia's patience, encouragement and listening skills were key in motivating my child. She introduced her to different styles to find out what was appealing. If you want to know how good she is - ask her to play for you. Tip: If she has an opening that's convenient for you, grab it - because it won't last long!

Everyday I am constantly learning and consulting with other teachers.

I was born into it. My father was a band director for 17 years, plays professionally, and then bought music stores. I had a wonderful, wonderful piano teacher.
