Life coaching with Stacy completely changed my life!! I have taken a lot of classes and read a lot of books but through Stacy I was able to work through blocks I didn't even know I had!! I was able to get clear on my what I wanted my life to look like...and feel like. The result has been weight loss of 24 pounds so far and truly the man of my dreams after 49 years! I highly recommend Stacy and her coaching program. It really works!!!

I have wanted to have Hypnotherapy for nearly 15 years, but never got around to getting it done, Finally, 6 months ago I saw a Groupon ad and decided to jump on it. I went to a place in West Pal Beach and had 3 sessions. All I felt was relaxation and a little bit of peace. It was a bit disappointing as I had a much different and higher expectation. Just 2 weeks ago, I was reading the Natural Awakenings magazine which I always peek into and saw Carolina's article. This really intrigued me and I felt that I needed to continue this path, so I contacted her and booked 3 sessions. I just had my second session completed, and must say that after the very first one, I had achieved most of the goals I had originally sought. Her techniques are quite different and include individual systems (NLP/EFT/ etc) that I had in part heard and read about, but never experienced personally, especially not combined together as she does. I cannot recommend her services enough and have already booked my mom and sister to see her. Simply awesome! I hope my review helps others take advantage of Carolina's unique approach. Denise C.

I would love to share with all of you my experience with Yolanda Perera and Theta Healing . First off.... IT IS A MUST for everybody I know personally and not.. we all have shit in our system that is affecting us in our daily lives... whether it is anxiety.. depression... weight ... feeling scared or lonely or feeling disconnected with humanity... All of these feelings are REAL and should not be taken on a lite note... everyone is entitled to what is REAL for them... some of you may want to know why you can't seem to find the Perfect job.. or the Perfect Love.. why do we continue to push people and opportunities away only to find ourselves doing the same as always.... starting new chapters in our lives only to re live the old..... Theta Healing will give you the answers... I personally have had several private sessions with Yolanda before her arrival in Delaware and by spending time with her over the weekend we had a chance to CLEAR THE AIR ( or in THETA style CLEAR my SUBCONSCIOUS ) DNA garbage that has controlled my being without my knowledge since birth... as I sometimes state OMG just isn't gonna do it this time.. try Triple.. quadruple OMG. and then that isn't hitting the surface of what I felt .. what I intuitively saw in my minds eye and felt as I was experienced one clearing after another is beyond words.... All I can really say is Please give it a try .. Don't pass it off as a La La.. love and light bullshit that some of us do... It is so much more and so needed by every person on the planet... OPEN your MIND and let it be blown away . mine was.... xoxox

    About

The Comedy Hypnosis of Hypnotist Rich Alexander is an adventure in imagination that your guests will enjoy and talk about for years! Rich will bring an unforgettable hypnosis show to your party or event that will be fun and entertaining. A professional show that will go smoothly. He hypnotizes willing volunteers and then makes "stars" out of them. WITHOUT EMBARASSING ANYONE! It's good, clean fun and audience friendly. I bring not just entertainment, but a Hypnosis Show Production to your event. I bring a sound system, stage lights and backdrop. The show is tailored to your audience and location. The show makes use of audience participation, music, props, sound effects and stage lights. The show starts with a brief explanation of hypnosis and some fun demonstrations that get the audience excited to be in the show. The volunteers that want to be in the show are then invited to come up. After the volunteers are seated, they are hypnotized and have the time of their lives, as they play in fun hypnotic routines that are not offensive. They experience playing musical instruments, milking imaginary cows, life as a goldfish and much more. They are the stars of the show. The skits will have your audience laughing hilariously, but not embarrass the volunteers. Witness people fall asleep at the snap of a finger - and maybe even become hypnotized yourself! Everyone (including you) will be entertained and amazed. Your guests will love it. Everyone has fun and leaves with wonderful memories that your audience will have for a lifetime. You are not just hiring a Hypnotist. You’re getting unique hypnotic entertainment that will have them thanking you for a great time. See my website for video and client testimonials. Thank You, Rich Alexander, Comedy Hypnotist The fun people have when they see the show or are in the show. The amazement people experience from seeing the show and hearing that people are still talking about the show months later.

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

    How does hypnosis work?

Hypnosis is a wellness technique that works by promoting positive behavioral or cognitive changes. During successful hypnosis, the client should be eased into a state of deep relaxation in which the conscious mind takes a back seat and the subconscious mind becomes more active. The client is often able to let go of critical thoughts and become receptive to the therapist’s suggestions. In this state of hypnosis, motivating suggestions can bypass your usual mental resistance and internal defense mechanisms. For example, even if you want to quit overeating cupcakes, you may have some level of resistance that your rational mind can’t overcome. During hypnosis, the positive suggestions made by the hypnotherapist can bypass your usual blocks, helping you to achieve the formerly unachievable: stopping overeating, quitting smoking, mastering public speaking, or losing your fear of heights. The goal of hypnosis is to strengthen and empower the client’s motivation, commitment and focus. Consider working with someone who is not just trained in hypnosis but also is a licensed therapist or psychotherapist who can bring their academic background into your session.

What can hypnosis help you with?

According to many sources including the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) which is part of the United States National Library of Medicine and a branch of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), hypnosis is scientifically proven to help relieve both mental challenges and physical pains. Hypnosis can alleviate stress and reduce pain after surgeries, has been shown to relieve anxiety in children in the emergency room, and can be useful for managing pain associated with everything from arthritis to migraines. Hypnosis is non-invasive and gives you a way to control pain or discomfort that might otherwise seem out of your hands. Hypnosis shouldn’t be used as a substitute for medical care, but may be an excellent complementary tool that is best provided by a trained therapist or licensed medical provider. The University of Maryland Medical Center shares many conditions for which hypnosis can be useful:

    • Irritable bowel syndrome
    • Tension headaches
    • Alopecia areata
    • Asthma
    • Phobias
    • Insomnia
    • Addictions
    • Bedwetting
    • Fibromyalgia
    • Labor and delivery
    • Skin disorders, such as acne, psoriasis and eczema (atopic dermatitis)
    • Stress
    • Tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
    • Cancer-related pain
    • Weight loss
    • Eating disorders
    • Warts
    • Indigestion (dyspepsia)
    • Post-traumatic stress disorder
    • Smoking cessation

How is hypnosis used in therapy?

Hypnosis is a powerful tool to help clients overcome challenging issues such as anxiety, phobias, pain management, hot flashes and more. Hypnosis is also a way to help let go of addictions like smoking, overeating and gambling. In and of itself, hypnosis is not a therapy, but it can be used in conjunction with therapy to empower and encourage the person receiving it to make positive change. Some people are more susceptible to hypnosis and will benefit more from hypnotherapy than others.

According to Dr. Clifford N. Lazarus, speaking for Psychology Today, hypnosis is a “genuine psychological phenomenon that has valid uses in clinical practice … hypnosis is a state of highly focused attention or concentration, often associated with relaxation, and heightened suggestibility. While under hypnosis (i.e., in a hypnotic trance), it seems many people are much more open to helpful suggestions than they usually are.” The suggestions made in a therapeutic setting get deep into a person’s brain, beyond their conscious thinking, leading to behavior change and the ability to overcome challenges that might otherwise seem insurmountable.

What is the effectiveness of hypnosis?

The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services recognizes the healing power of hypnosis and its proven effectiveness for anxiety, pain control, smoking cessation, headaches and more. Hypnosis may be safe and complementary way to augment medical attention you are receiving for a chronic illness or pain, or a way to resolve an addiction or phobia that you are otherwise unable to control. Hypnosis does not work on every person. When scientists began studying hypnosis in earnest, a report published by Stanford University titled “The Stanford Hypnotic Susceptibility Scale” demonstrated that different brains respond to hypnosis in varying degrees, and a very few do not respond at all. Working with a trained psychologist, you’ll soon determine whether you are a good candidate for the healing benefits of hypnotherapy.

During a hypnotherapy session, the therapist will bring you into a state of deep relaxation in which the critical, conscious part of your brain recedes and the subconscious mind becomes alert and focused. The therapist will make suggestions, based on your intended goals, that will take root in your subconscious mind. These suggestions should affect your thinking in a positive way and empower you to make change.
