Are you tired of feeling behind or sounding like a beginner? Are you ready to stand out with a solid, lyrical flute sound? My name is Gabriel Gutierrez and I’m an online flute teacher! Band teachers have so many instruments in their class to focus on, it’s hard for them to give you the individual attention you need to have a breakthrough in your flute playing. Learning from home can be quite difficult as well. Pre-recorded learning sources don’t address your unique, individual needs. This is why personal, individualized flute instruction is so important if you want to start performing. Half-way through my Master’s degree, I experienced a neck injury that kept me from playing flute for a little over two years. After this long period of time, I was forced to start from scratch once again with flute playing and focus on the fundamentals. I went from only being able to play slowly 15 min per day to playing full concertos and pieces requiring high levels of technical skill. Because of this experience, I can help you overcome any obstacles you may be encountering - whether it be high levels of anxiety, better air control, coordination, or finding deeper meaning in the music you’re learning. The practicing tactics and methodology you will learn will give you the confidence to perform for your classmates, for community events (when they happen again), for social media, competitions, auditions, or any other venue you’re aiming for. Not only will your friends and family notice a difference with your playing, you will feel confident, peaceful, and excited to play the music you love for others after having had consistent flute lessons. If you’re the flute student who is motivated, committed, and ready to do the work to make breakthroughs with your sound, then go ahead and let me know how I can help you! Looking forward to it!See more
