Contracted Chef Tony to cater our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Asked him to come to our home approximately a month before the scheduled date to let us know what he had available and how he would prepare for the party. He was on time (if not early) and had all his information available. We explained what we would like, he provided assistance and recommendations and outlined all the expected expenses. He later provided me with an itemized list of what we had settled on and the costs. He did not try to up-sell us on more expensive items or provide trade-offs, etc. The day of the party he, and his staff, arrived approximately two hours early to set up and prepare last minute items. He, and his staff, were very efficient and helpful. The food was wonderful and the party went off without a hitch. During the party they circulated through the guests providing hors d'oeuvres and drinks. About 15 minutes before the stated "end of the party" he found me to let me know he would be starting the cleanup process. He and his staff were again very efficient, cleaned up the entire area, put all excess food away, packed and left. I would not hesitate to contract Chef Tony again for any future event. I had many compliments throughout the evening about the food and staff and have, and will be referring Chef Tony to others looking to do something similar or involving catered functions.

I had originally chosen Denise because she was the most reasonably priced chef and also because she specialized in Mediterranean food which I love. In speaking with her I learned that she has a Spanish background and she learned quite a bit from her mother. She arrived with the freshly bought foods and quickly became familiar with the kitchen. She made tabouli from scratch and a baked chicken dish that was bathed in a unique sauce. My girlfriend and I were quite impressed. The serving of the meal ran behind the time that I had hoped it would be served, however in watching her prepare the foods, you could tell she was a perfectionist and wanted to get it just right; hence she still gets 5 starts. It actually worked out better for us since my girlfriend was not quite as hungry earlier. When she finished, the place was spotless. I should add that she arrived around 4PM and didn't end up leaving until around 10PM, so it was a long day for her. Yet she was always cheerful and personable. Obviously my girlfriend and I would highly recommend her.
