In 2013, a friend of mine suggested that I contact Lisa. It had long been a desire of mine to take voice lessons, and since I was pushing 60, I figured I shouldn't put it off much longer. On the other hand, I felt some trepidation about being a "mature" student. I made the call, and I'm so glad I did, as I felt comfortable working with Lisa from the very first lesson. (Hey, she's a licensed music therapist, after all!) Lisa is an excellent teacher, and I immediately experienced the positive effects of her voice coaching. I learned improved techniques – such as breathing, enunciation and phrasing—and she helped me to discover my own style. Or, perhaps, I should say "styles!" Lisa is an attentive and intelligent instructor, and she is an excellent communicator. Her suggestions are concrete and thoughtful. Also, Lisa has shown me how to get in touch with the music that I so enjoy singing, encouraging me to think about the lyrics and melodies and what they mean to me. Thus, if I have a clearer emotional understanding of the song, then I am better able to convey to my audience a sense of connection to the music. A couple of years ago, I took up the guitar, which added a whole new set of challenges to my singing. Lisa, who is proficient on the guitar as well as the piano, has been working with me lately on a multitude of song styles, as well as guitar skills. I like to think that I have vastly improved over the last year. Vastly. Regarding scheduling, Lisa has a busy professional life. However, she endeavors to accommodate my schedule, which I appreciate. I highly recommend that you contact Lisa regarding voice lessons -- or, to discuss any musical endeavors you've been contemplating. She's good!
Daryl has brought music to our entire family. My daughters, 10 and 8, are well on their way to a lifelong love of piano. You can't say that about most kids their age and piano lessons. They play classical and pop, sing and most of all have fun. My wife, a high school clarinetist, like most of us put it down after high school. She now seranades us to sleep at night with Midnight Sonata, a piece Daryl has worked her through. One year ago, she couldn't play Heart and Soul. Myself, an over the hill 70's rocker, picked my guitar back up and Daryl has me not only playing again, but this time actually understanding what I am doing! Only other 70 rockers can appreciate this :) I highly recommend anyone to invite Daryl into their family like he has become a part of ours. John Price
Joshua provides guitar lessons to my 9 yr old son, and drum lessons to my 6 yr old daughter. Both of my kids love him and look forward to their weekly lessons. Joshua is young, but I believe that adds to his great rapport with my kids who are early beginners. I want them to have a love of music and I believe Joshua's enthusiasm for music and encouragement are helping them do just that.
My nine-year old son loves Mr. Annel. Mr. Annel has a very good rapport with children, and knows how to teach them things in a way they respond to. My son is excited about playing the guitar thanks to Mr. Annel. We couldn't be more pleased with his teaching.
I teach what the student wants to know as well as the basics. Most importantly, I keep my lessons fun and interesting.
I teach guitar, drums, bass, piano and voice. I also do instrument repairs for the listed instruments.

I am a music student at FSU, and I am looking to teach beginning students in guitar, piano, and music theory, and from beginner to intermediate students in cello. Since I am a student, I am up to date on common teaching practice.
Here are some testimonials from my students: Before I met Mr. Nicholas, music seem so distant and incomprehensible like and alien language. He changed this with his vast knowledge of music and a cool but to the point style of teaching. The classes are stress free and a lot of fun because he can play many instruments during the classes, so every class is a little different. Mr. Nicholas has exceeded all my expectations as a music teacher. Nelson Nicholas is an amazing teacher. He has a great attitude and hes very knowledgeable Danielle Ive taken piano lessons from Nick for about 2 and half years. When I started, I couldnt play at all, and he helped me build a solid foundation of musical knowledge and skills. Through progressively more challenging pieces of music, Ive reached my goal of feeling comfortable performing, and now Im working on becoming a better musician. Nick is patient and knowledgeable, and he does a great job of breaking things down and explaining how to improve. Hes willing to listen to your interests (such as if you are drawn to a certain type of music or performance style) and tailors lessons around your goals. - Matt
I will be able to provide beginner violin, piano and guitar lessons to those who would like to learn the basics.
We meet the student where they are at and take into account the type of player they'd like to be.
I am patiently and carefully teaching the fundamentals to beginners and amateurs, so that they may begin to teach themselves.
I teach music on a wide variety of instruments. Beginner to advanced students receive one-on-one instruction, taking the direction the student wants to go in after learning the basics. Students begin to learn real songs during the first lesson.
I studied classical guitar lessons at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. I am currently a senior at Florida State University majoring in economics and psychology. I charge $25 per hour lesson. No books are required.

I specialize in guitar, piano and vocal lessons. I also teach my students music theory from the start. Most of my students are ready to begin teaching themselves songs they want to learn within the first few months of their lessons. I charge $30 per one-hour session, and require that the student have at least one practice per week. One lesson a week guarantees that we will make constant progress.
We are like independent artists. We DJ weddings, private parties and festivals. We now incorporate music lessons.
I am providing guitar lessons for children of all ages. I am classically trained in guitar and would love to pass my knowledge and joy of music on to your child. I have been teaching in a group setting for almost 10 years now and teaching privately for 7 years. I will teach them chords, notes, music theory, proper technique, and "how to jam!" I also helped record the video series for Guitar 1 on Florida Virtual School and helped many kids discover their love of music and the joy in creating their own songs. Please reach out with any questions you might have. I would love to get to know you and your child!
I have been playing both drums and guitar for going on 12 years now, and I have already taught a handful of up-and-coming musicians, helping them take their skills to the next level. I typically work with beginner to intermediate clients, mainly because most-advanced players do not need lessons. However, if there are any advanced players who may be interested in new styles or techniques, I will also be happy to help those people too!
