What really sets him apart as a teacher, however, is his ability to break down extremely complex musical ideas into manageable pieces. Izzy does not overwhelm you with theory or technique; he blends the two together seamlessly. The moment that you get some sick riffs under your fingers, you realize you've also learned where the notes live on the guitar.
