It's been awesome having piano lessons with Ms. Doreen. She's such a friendly teacher, she has been incredibly patient to an adult beginner like me. I've had so much fun and knowledge attending her lessons. My piano playing skill is about to become better week by week.
Really helpful! Takes the time to really get to know you which makes learning from him really comfortable. I will be recommending him to anyone who is looking for singing or piano lessons.
Jillian is an excellent teacher. Both of my children took beginner piano lessons from her, and she was very motivating, clear, and helpful. They enjoyed learning from her. She found them interesting music and books. I highly recommend her as a teacher.
I highly recommend Debbie Boykin. My daughter is currently taking piano lessons from her and has been for the past eight years. I could not be more pleased with her progress. Debbie is very reliable and always goes above and beyond for her students I could not be more pleased with her progress. Debbie is very reliable and always goes above and beyond for her students!
Words cannot express the gratitude my family has for Miss Liana. She has taught someone in our family for the past 6 years or so. My daughters began taking from her first. My oldest daughter had done well in piano lessons with a previous teacher, but I knew that she wasn't learning correct technique or good sight-reading skills. That is when we switched to Liana. After watching how quickly my daughter progressed with her, I decided I would like to take piano lessons again. I had 10 years of lessons as a child, but I had so much more to learn! Liana very quickly saw where I needed help. She is direct about your skills or lack of skills. However, she knows exactly what she is doing and HOW to help! She can be in the next room getting her tea, and somehow she knows whether I am using the right fingering, or which note I missed. Not only that, she is very encouraging. She is quick to praise you for trying or finally "getting" something. Many times, one passage of notes can seem insurmountable to me. Liana will watch me try, then often it is just a small suggestion she makes that does the trick. She is very attentive to details and her love of music is contagious. She has become more than a teacher to me and to my daughter. We truly love and adore her. If you are looking for an excellent teacher, classically trained, who thoroughly knows the piano and how to teach it, please call Liana. You will see your student or yourself grow in so many areas of music. Oh, and that oldest daughter of mine is an accomplished pianist now, studying piano performance at Samford University. So far, she has received all As for her piano performance grade during both semesters. She was also awarded a scholarship for her talent. Though my daughter worked hard, it would not have been possible without Liana!!
Lessons in Your Home was quick to tailor guitar lessons for my daughter. The instructor has been personable and has built wonderful rapport with her. She is gaining strong foundational skills each week. I highly recommend them!
I discovered Leslie through the Pennysaver after I was dissatisfied with my previous piano teacher, and I am very fortunate to have found her. Leslie's ability to teach at all levels is built on a foundation of strong fundamentals and an excellent understanding of music theory. I learn something new every lesson beyond just how to play pieces. And most importantly, Leslie keeps piano fun. I am an adult student so I am playing piano solely for my own enjoyment. Leslie strikes just the right balance of pushing me to get better while also keeping it enjoyable. I highly recommend Leslie, both for adults and children.
I have been taking piano lessons from Ms. Bev for over 8 years now and she has been nothing but kind and helpful. I have learned music technique, history, and theory from her and I have improved greatly since I began taking lessons at the age of 8. She is very fun and incredibly passionate about music.
Michelle is an amazing teacher! She is equally great with kids or adults and is wonderfully talented and patient. I highly recommend her!! 5 stars!!
I take violins lessons from Libby in winter garden. Libby will bring out the absolute best in you! She is very patient and such a sweetheart. She's respectful and She corrected everything from my sound all the way to the curve of my thumb while I hold my bow(: I think she was made to be a teacher. So far I'm very satisfied
Over the last year, Mr. Raffetto has given me lessons in piano and drums. I have been a professional musician for a few years, but my skill set has grown exponentially under Mr. Raffetto's guidance. He is an excellent jazz pianist, percussionist and performer, and plays various other instruments with great proficiency. More importantly, he stresses that he is constantly a student of music and is, therefore, constantly learning. I'd recommend him to students of any age and experience. He is the most passionate musician and instructor you'll find.
Rachel is a very patient and knowledgeable piano teacher for my two children. I highly recommend her.
Anna is my colleague and a very active participant in both the local and national piano teaching community, highly respected in her field.
The best school in the Orlando area. I was having a very hard time finding a music teacher to come and give lessons to my children for both piano and guitar. I live way out in Windermere and no one would come out this way. Elite Music Instruction had one teacher that teachers both guitar and piano, so it made this whole thing even easier. I recommend Elite Music Instruction to all my fiends and to you too.
John is very personable in addition to being a wealth of knowledge ! Fun to work with , and I see huge results in my playing . I would recommend his lessons to anyone interested in piano or music in general!
Brian was a fantastic piano and guitar instructor for my daughter. He truly makes learning fun for a teenager. He was always on time, patient during lessons, and his amazing talent was inspirational. Plus he has a great personality and gets along well with parents. His fees are very fair, too. (My daughter stopped lessons because she went off to college.).....Additionally, Brian is a wonderful entertainer for parties. He recently played at my mother's 85th birthday bash. EVERYONE loved his beautiful classical guitar music.
I am a high school choral, piano and theater teacher who has studied the arts at the post-secondary level. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of the performing arts, and I strive to instill a passion for the performing arts within my students.
Orlando Piano Lessons for Children through Adults. 15% off lessons held daytime before 3pm! Imagine winding down after work with a few ballads on the piano. Imagine your child ripping through a bunch of blues songs for his friends. Imagine leading sing-alongs with your family. Imagine escaping into an improvisation, or exploring creating your own compositions. To be human is to be musical. In todays world, more than ever people feel a need to connect with what makes us human. We all deserve to have the expressive outlet of music. Why do so few of us play? Music lessons dont always deliver successful results, dont always turn out happily self-expressed musicians. Its about time we found a way to reintroduce ourselves to the magic of music.
I provide personal attention to the students with patience and a zeal to see them learn and accomplish their goals, providing students with the vast knowledge to help them succeed as a pianist.
As a teacher, I focus equally on formal technique and personal expression. Mastering correct form provides the foundation, upon which a student's capacity for the latter may grow. I view our time together as an opportunity to encourage musical and personal growth. My goal is to encourage discipline while fostering creativity. Maintaining the student's interest by adapting my teaching methods to every individual is an important focus, as is engaging the student by allowing him/her choice in the material we learn in lessons. This not only facilitates a cooperative environment, but also allows me to tailor my teaching style to the student's interests, strengths, and learning preferences. My tuition for private instructions are as follows: * 30 minutes for $25 * 45 minutes for $37.50 * 60 minutes for $50 I believe music theory is an important focus for a student to understand how tones relate to each other in any piece of music. These relationships will be explored aurally, visually, and tactilely in all lessons. In teaching, my goal is to encourage students to learn and grow independently. In my studio (or your home), mistakes are opportunities for improvement. For the duration of our lesson, you (or your child) are in a nurturing zone of freedom of expression. Join me in an exploration of personal talent and creativity.
