FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing depends on the type of work, project size, materials needed, site conditions, and how many items are being completed during the visit. We provide clear upfront pricing before work begins, and we will let you know if a service minimum, material cost, or additional labor is needed. For larger or more detailed projects, we may recommend an on-site estimate so we can price the job accurately. Bundled pricing may be available when multiple repairs or punch-list items are completed together. Any changes to the original scope are discussed and approved before additional work is performed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process starts with a quick review of the project details. We ask the customer to send photos, a short description of the work needed, the property location, and their ideal timeframe. From there, we determine whether the project can be priced from the information provided or if an on-site estimate is needed. Once the scope is clear, we provide upfront pricing and discuss materials, scheduling, and any important project details before work begins. After approval, we schedule the job, complete the work professionally, keep the customer updated, and clean the work area before leaving. If anything changes from the original scope, we discuss it with the customer before moving forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team brings a strong construction and project management background to handyman, repair, and remodeling work. Our leadership experience includes civil engineering, Georgia general contracting, erosion control training through the Georgia Blue Card program, and construction project management practices. This helps us approach each project with attention to safety, planning, communication, quality control, and proper construction methods. 3M Handyman & Remodeling is connected with Elamar Construction, giving our customers the benefit of professional construction standards on smaller residential repair and remodeling projects.
