I was in need of having my 2 fireplaces inspected and cleaned for a new home I had purchased. Matt came out to my house the next day, was on time and gave me a heads up when he was on the way. He also was particularly professional and adhered to COVID safety protocols. Matt spent the first bit to review each of the fireplaces and answered all my questions in an easy to understand way. He then inspected and cleaned both fireplaces, showed me areas that weren't up to code and fixed those for a very reasonable price, then took the time to show me how to use the gas starters and tips on proper safety usage. I was so very impressed. I did not even
know what kind of fireplace I had. First time in a condo. I was advised they were running a little late. I was told about maintenance.
Talked out of spending money needlessly.
Given a timeline of when to call them . This was a gas fireplace that looked like a combo that had not been used for years. My place was cleaner than when they arrived. They added a service at no charge. Speedy, professional and great value. What more can you ask. My daughter is calling them in the fall for her fireplace.

I had a great experience. They were prompt, knowledgeable, and did a thorough inspection. They checked for fire hazard cracks, water intrusion, damper functioning, and gas functioning. They climbed onto my roof to check the condition of my chimney cap. They offered to inspect my attic as well. They also showed me how to use the fireplace correctly and safely. I like that they were respectful of my home; they laid down mats so that they wouldn't get any dust or dirt on my rug. Now my fireplace is clean and ready to use!

Cruz and his team were very professional and courteous. They met every deadline that was set and work tirelessly until the job was complete. They laid down drop cloths and wore shoe covers to keep the work area clean. They explained everything in easy to understand detail. Took photos at various milestones to keep me updated on their progress. Even though our chimney/fireplace repairs were unexpected and costly, we felt confident in the work that was being done and that Cruz was giving us a more than fair price. I would highly recommend Cormont, LLC. Work done: Inspected gas log fireplace, cleaned chimney flue, replaced chimney cap, tuck point chimney masonry, installed damper, installed and sealed flashing and various other work.

I didn’t think I got what I wanted. The person comes in an hour late and then suggests a clean up for my fireplace. So I go ahead and accept it. But he didn’t do a proper cleanup. And when I asked to do a cleanup properly, he said this is the all he can do, while I see the buildup.
All in all, not going to recommend. Feels like they will find anything wrong to make money. I paid $175 for him to come ignite the pilot basically.

From first contact, I was shocked by how quickly we got a response. There were others showing available but we didn't get a response until the next day. Everyone else told us it would be late January before we could get an appointment. We were able to schedule the same week! Our tech was Melvin. He arrived on time and my husband and I even received confirmation texts that he was in route and ETA. The work was top quality and after inspecting and cleaning our chimney/fireplace. He completed a dryer vent cleaning which was long overdue. So thankful for his recommendation cause we know how important it is to check and keep the dryer vent clean. We were overly satisfied. Definitely recommend 👌

He talked me through the process of the chimney sweep, gave me instructions on how to build fire, and top it off he shared some insight about some recent water damage I was dealing with.
