Very good teacher. My son enjoys his lessons
My nephew is taking guitar lessons from Shawn. Shawn is an accomplished musician and has the ability to pass his knowledge on to his students at their level of learning. My nephew finds his teaching to be fun, but challenging. Shawn is aware of his student's learning style and what they want to accomplish and is able to build his lessons around those needs while also teaching music theory, learning chords, etc. Highly recommend Shawn Guess as a music instructor.
I highly recommend Mary for your piano teacher. She taught my two kids ages 9 &11. She is a beautiful piano player who prepares for her lessons with thought and skill. My kids learned a lot and really enjoyed their lessons. They talk of her often!! We miss her being in our area!!
Erik responded quickly, and I liked his credentials. We had two trial lessons for me to assess and decide if I want to continue. I really enjoyed the Spanish lessons and want to go back for more.
Excellent engaging service.
I have 2 Degrees in Music Education. I was a school teacher for 23 years. I have taught private music lessons since I was 16 years old.
I play a multitude of instruments. I can teach music theory and I strive for students to learn it too.
I teach beginner to mid-advanced piano and voice students in the basic mechanics of their chosen field with lessons in music, theory, and performance. I have more than 16 years of experience in teaching and have worked with both individuals and groups in areas that range from individual instruction to competition, recitals, concerts, and full scale musicals. I have been a region coordinator for GISA (Georgia Independent School Association) for two years, overseeing One Act Play competitions, as well as literary events. Many of my students won in region competitions and went on to place or even win in state competitions. I have worked with K4 through 12th grade students the past six years on musical education, musical performance, chorale singing, concert performance, full-scale musicals, and individual coaching. I love working with young people and am as excited about their musical discoveries as they are. I believe learning music and appreciating it in all its forms adds a richness and depth to our character, as well as aiding in other educational pursuits. Quite simply, I love, love music!
Although I have never compared myself with another instructor, my reputation of 32 years speaks for itself. I am unique in doing what ever method it takes for my students to "get it." Out of multiple hundreds of students, I have never given up on one.
I teach guitar, bass, voice, banjo, mandolin, ukulele and harmonica. I teach ear trading, theory, reading, tab, songs, and how to play with others. I teach all ages and levels. I have 8- and 85-year-old beginners and teach other teachers at other music stores. I have won countless awards for my playing and teaching.
I'm a positive individual who loves nothing more than to do this for a not so extravagant cost I do this because I love it .
I will teach you anything you need to know about playing the guitar. There are no set lesson plans. Tell me what you want to learn, and we will work at your pace.
A music theory-based approach to beginning and intermediate flute instruction taught by a senior music education major. My rates are comparatively low, and band students can feel comfortable working with someone close to their age. If transportation is an issue, home visits are possible. Don't just learn how to play songs; learn how to play and understand music. Regular tutoring for music theory is also available.
I provide affordable and easy to understand lessons. I offer guaranteed results within two sessions. First session is free and after that, it will be $15/hour.
The reason why our work stands out from others is because our "work" is not work at all it's a passion. Which drives us to help anyone who needs it from churches to bands.
I dedicate my whole life to music. I know many techniques. I want to make you great like me. I'm available by phone and Internet. I'm also available to meet up (depending on the location of the participant).
I read, write and speak Spanish. I can help speak and carry on a conversation in Spanish. I will travel.
I have a great experience in getting to know people. I love making great friendships. I teach people how to play guitar. I've also been teaching people some translation from Spanish to English words, so non-English speakers learn more. I promise that I'll try my hardest to reach your goals, and if you have patience, you can accomplish everything.
We care about the people we serve and treat them with respect and professionalism.
It is exciting to hear my students playing a piece of music.
I teach piano. I have been playing for 34 years. I like sharing my own techniques and show how to read music. Music is fun once you learn how to play. I have also recorded three albums. I have my own studio now at my home. With music, timing is everything. Once students learn how to get the timing down, they can have the enjoyment of playing with others. I teach how to do that. I am very good at what I do.
