Michael Karl does an amazing job of teaching me acting lessons, stage presence and voice projection. He has such a way of expressing himself to help me get into character and to feel what the character is feeling. Michael is professional, punctual and proficient!! He listens to what your expectations are and what you hope to gain from the experience. I highly recommend Michael Karl!!!
She is very nice and easy to talk to. She believes in what she teaches. She is very optimistic and helps me with my confidence. She worked with me at my home. My lessons are 30 minutes but a good thirty minutes. Her quality of work is good.
I have been a ballroom dancer for 7 years and have danced in competitions and taken private and group lessons from some of the best. I have taught both ballroom (more smooth than rhythm) and hip-hop. I have danced in a small pop group for two years, and am studying dance and musical theater at the university. I am happy to share my skills. I am patient and give clear instructions.

Students will learn the basics needed to succeed in any performance arena and beyond, whether that be vocal performance, musical theater, a play, or everyday life. Acting is something that can be used every day, and while we don't encourage lying sometimes, you need to keep a smile on your face when you really feel like frowning; acting can help you with that! Here at "Acting from the Heart," we require true dedication, honesty, and passion. If you have those three things, after a few classes, you will leave here feeling confident, brave, and more capable than ever before!
I coach kids and young adults in acting and singing. I coach especially for auditions like college auditions.
I have many different areas of skills. My main focus is my horses. I love teaching people about horses and how to ride. I am also gifted in music and acting. I have 12 years of flute experience and majored in theater for college.
I can work diligently to help you have a solid breakdown and understanding of a script for auditions or for work that you have booked, and try to get you as emotionally and mentally available for what the scene calls for. I have worked in many different productions and also consistently training myself to have as many tools in my toolbox ready to utilize whenever it's time to deliver my performance.
My daughter started having her voice lessons with Svitlana in 2013 being a 10 year old. She hadn't had any kind of singing experience before. Currently, she is taking a weekly or sometimes semi-weekly voice lessons and I believe she is progressing quite well and likes both the lessons and the performances. She has a varioty of songs is her repertuare including several Adele's songs, Rihanna's "Russian Roulette", Aguilera's "Beautiful", Avicii's "Addicted to You", "California Dreaming", and many others, including some of the Russian songs (she is native Russian). Svitlana has a small group of differently aged girls and even gave all of them the opportunity to make a professional music video with a recording in one of the best recording studio in Atlanta. My daughter was very quite and shy in the beginning but by now she has learned how to breath, use her voice properly and how to present herself. She became more open and confident for the auditions or in the concerts. Svitlana herself has a great voice and definitelly knows how to handle kids in their learning process and how to make them feel more comfortable. I'd recommend her to anyone who wants to start learning singing.

Kids and teens have fun while learning to perform on stage and on camera! Understanding that teens and kids require a well-rounded acting program, yourACT has tailored its classes for kids and teens to demonstrate what it's truly like to work on-camera and on stage, plus give them a chance to experience the excitement of improvisation. All students learn the principles of acting in an energetic and supportive environment. Growing at their own speed, they explore the acting craft and art! The kids are distributed into groups by grades: 2nd through 4th, 5th and 6th, and 7th and 8th. Our two-hour Saturday lessons take the kids across three forty-minute sessions. They experience forty minutes of improvisation, then forty minutes of acting on camera on to the studio, and forty minutes to hone their stagecraft in our hundred-seat theatre. They learn to utilize focus, concentration, creativity and imagination to create strong and believable characters, whether on stage or in front of a camera. The teens (high school) discover how to become the character, being natural, truthful and honest. Whether on the stage or acting for TV and film, they gain discipline and focus. Improve provides them the power to unlock their emotions and explore their imagination. We select scripts that deal with the concerns and issues confronted by teens daily. The yourACT instructors are all skilled working actors who will help teens elude the usual mistakes and show them how to associate their dreams to reality. Every grade group is restricted to fourteen, so that all students get the individual attention which they deserve. We concentrate on building up their strengths, while noticing their individual needs.
