Shan is a great motivator and trainer. He takes a sincere interest in your progress and tracks it closely. Not only will you leave exhausted, you feel accomplished. If you're looking for a knowledgeable personal trainer that helps you every step of the way then consider Funk Fitness. I've had multiple trainers in the past and Shan is hands down the best. In the 4 weeks that I trained with him I lost double digit pounds, dropped my run time dramatically, slimmed down very noticeably and toned up nicely. I can lift more, run faster and am overall happier. But don't take my word for it. Sign up for a few sessions and see yourself. For only a few bucks per session it won't hurt your pocketbook. Coach Em was my high school's lacrosse team's personal trainer, and she was amazing! Her personality, her vigor, her commitment-all these things made her an amazing coach! She made me actually enjoy working out, which says something, trust me. Anyway, I highly recommend Coach Em, you won't regret it!
I loved my workouts at ILKB Columbus GA!!! The instructors were always incredibly positive and supportive. I always felt pushed to work harder than I did the previous class, while supported if I had to adapt an exercise because of injuries. The studio was always clean. The other students varied in age, ability and fitness level, but they were also suppportive and added to the positive energy. The workout was always challenging, even as I got stronger.

I have been exercising in gyms for 15 years and this is my best experience to date. My quest for fitness had brought me to CrossFit gyms which were great but this is leaps and bounds above. The trainers are well educated so the work outs are targeted and balenced which I think increases results and reduces injury risk. I have a membership which allows me access to a variety of amazing classes and as a member I purchased discounted personal training sessions so I can have an intense customized training to fit my hectic schedule and take my fitness to an even greater level. I’m 40 this year and more fit than ever. I’m thrilled that I can enroll my children in training here to give them a fitness base which will allow them to excel in any sport they choose.
Great workout! No cookie cutter training classes here! They change things up and keep it fun and interesting. And my results are AMAZING so far..Ive tried several other trainers but hit the fitness lottery with Michael and Darius!!

Leah has a professional attitude, but she laughs and smiles along with us, all while providing the perfect amount of encouragement. She doesn't let you get away with slacking off, but she also doesn't have that "boot camp trainer" attitude where all they do is bark at you and verbally beat you into submission. She has a winning combination of keeping us engaged in what we are doing, and keeping us going at the same time. I have lower back and knee problems and she is able to adapt exercises to accommodate my physical impairments. Not only is she a very professional trainer, but she is also a very caring and understanding person who will help you reach your goals and not give up on yourself. She cares about each and every one of her clients. She takes time to teach you about nutrition and will often email tips and recipes to help you. Leah has helped me lose fat and inches and gain muscle! If you want to get in shape or just up your workouts you NEED to check Leah out. Once you work out with her you will never want to stop. My sessions are something I look forward to every week!

His initial assessment was thorough and he understands my personal goals, and challenges me every session to not only reach those but exceed them.
