The two movers NDR sent over were great. They worked well as a team. They were quick, very pleasant and did a great job. The move with just two movers took less time than when I'd had 3 in the past. And this move was about a 45 min drive away. Happy w NDR and would definitely recommend them.

The actual movers who came to our house: (Tate, Fred, Gabriel, and Quinn) were wonderful- they talked me off the ledge of stress as it was just me and my 13 year old daughter trying to move from a 2500 sq ft house. They were patient and persistent as moving issues (steep driveway, narrow stairwells and hallways) came up. However, the people at the call center who booked my move were less helpful. They didn't tell the movers after I updated my inventory a week prior to the move. Nor did they tell the movers about the two beds that needed to be dismantled and set back up. The movers adjusted and did what needed to be done, but better communication would have made it go more smoothly. So all in all, it was a stressful but successful move. My only suggestion is for the people in the office to communicate better with the movers.

James and his crew were the best ! I needed to move a dining room set from storage across town in the middle of a long distance move and I needed someone reliable, fast and on time. And they were all of those plus they were prepared - brought a big truck, moving blankets and tie downs. James confirmed with me the day before and then the morning of. We were done in less than an hour start to finish and it is a 20 minute drive. And he told me not to stress which is wise advice during moving :) I appreciate them and will keep the card handy if I need anything else or to refer to friends.

I had a sleeper sofa, love seat and armchair moved, and they did such a great job with the move, in less than 2 hours, and at a great price. They went above and beyond in their kindness, pointing out some spider egg sacks on the underside of my stuff that I might want to vacuum up and helping to try to fix the pull out function of the couch when we found some screws were missing. I have no complaints, their service was wonderful!!

I hired them for my move. This is really bad experience. My last move was through United Van Lines. Here are the differences: 1. It took united van lines two people to load and unload my stuff, disassemble and assemble in 4 hours. It took next door 8 hours (7 hours plus one hour drive) to do the same job. For United van lines, we did not need to do anything except telling them where to put the furnitures. For next door we helped moving at least half of the boxes and a lot of other stuff. We even helped assemble the bed and disassemble the crib because it took them one hour to just assemble one bed. Before the move day we already moved a lot of stuff by ourselves but for United van lines they moved everything for us. 2. Movers from United van lines are professional and they did not leave any scratches. Next door left scratches on the wall, on the washer and dryer, and broke one of my furniture. One guy was careless and it appears to me that he does not know how to properly move stuff and just started the job. The manager claimed that they are their best guys. 3. The coordinator from United van lines was responsible, called a few times before, during and after the move to make sure everything was fine. When I called next door to complain, the manager was arrogant and try to blame me for telling the wrong information before move, which is not true. So my bottom line is that if you want to hire people for your move, go with United van line or research for others unless you want the same experience for your move. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update to respond to Next door's response 1. The estimation for this move is 5 - 7 hours and it end up to be 8 hours. I am not complain about the estimation here. I am just compare the efficiency which is a fact. I just moved 5 month ago with the same amount of furniture. Obviously United Van lines did a way better job by moving all stuff in 4 hours. 2. We originally ask the movers to move the crib in one piece. But due to the size it cannot be moved out of the room so we end up disassemble the crib, but in within 10 min. It does not have enormous amount of separate pieces. I bought it from IKEA and if you want I can post the link to the crib. We did it by ourselves because it appears to me that we can do it way faster than them so we want to help and finish the job faster. I mentioned the crib and the idea is that we helped them a lot during the move and they still end up using 8 hours. 3. The scratches on the wall are not a lot but again I am stating the fact that United Van lines did not leave a mark on the wall. This is the difference. 4. The manager said they will call me to discuss the repair of the furniture and scratch on the wall. But I did not receive any call from them and now it is been a week now. The mover already took pictures of the scratches and broken furniture. 5. We did not ask for 4 hour discount. Instead, we said 6 hour is a reasonable amount of time. The difference in 2 hours is to consider that they used one hour to assemble one bed and we think 15 minutes is reasonable. Also, given that we did their job by disassemble and assemble the crib and moved at least half of the boxes and other stuff, 2 hours less is reasonable to us.
