We had our first dance lesson last night with Coppelia and could not have been happier with our experience. Neither of us has ever danced and we are way beyond the age of easy movement, yet Coppelia made us feel at ease and we learned a lot. Most of all, we had a truly enjoyable experience - it was so much fun! - and cannot wait to return next week. In addition to being a truly talented dancer, Coppelia is warm and friendly and you get the clear impression she wants you to enjoy dance and movement for yourself. Her studio is warm and inviting and the personal attention we received was unbelievable. She taught to our needs (and believe me we are starting at the most basic level) and made both of us feel like we had the ability to dance. I would recommend Coppelia to anyone - she will not disappoint! We are looking forward to working with her on a regular basis.
Atlanta Learn to Dance and Charles Cuthbert were lifesavers for me, my now husband, and dad. Charles accommodated our schedules and location and ensured that we felt more than comfortable with our first dances. His coaching style was encouraging and supportive, while holding us to a very professional standard. Our dances turned out better than we all expected thanks to our work with Charles!
"TJ" and 1 Step Above goes above and beyond to ensure that we as students meet our goals and stretch us to learn more. My husband and I used him for our wedding dance and as guest entertainment and he was a hit! If you're looking for camaraderie, exercise, social activities, community building, Detroit ballroom, line dancing, Chicago stepping, competitive dancing, wedding dance instruction, or all of the above, I highly recommend 1 Step Above!
We had a WONDERFUL first lesson with Rita! Her enthusiasm and technique has energized and built great confidence in my fiancee and I, and we cannot wait to continue lessons with her until our wedding! She customized the steps we're learning to fit our first dance song, and build solid steps we could use the rest of the night. We can't wait to work with Rita more these next few months!
We hired Natasha to help us with our first dance for our wedding. Amazing energetic teacher and a wonderful person. Highly recommended!
Very professional. My daughter and I loved her.
Amy was fantastic, as were all of her 3rd party contacts she had to hire. Responsiveness, communication, and quality all 10/10. Will absolutely use her again.

I don't have a business. I just teach people how to dance for fun. I could use the money. I always wanted my own business. I dance okay. Teaching someone how to dance takes a lot of hard work and practice. I dance okay. I'm not saying that I am the best dance, but I try to make it look easy,
