If you want your documents to be error-free and well-formatted, I will copyedit them to correct punctuation and grammar errors, plus spellings in specialized fields that Word may have had a little trouble with. "Copyediting" includes correcting punctuation and grammar, as well as minor rewording, formatting, sentence restructuring, etc. If you need more extensive work on your document, I can also perform other tasks such as setting page size and margins, creating headers and footers, creating a table of contents or index, inserting photos, etc. These tasks require discussion of the exact nature of the work desired and perhaps negotiation of an additional fee. I have (and have read!) all of the major style guides--MLA, Chicago (Turabian), and the APA Publication Manual--or, if you have a class- or job-specific style guide, I can follow that as well. I use Word's Review mode and leave all edits to be accepted or rejected by you (unless you want me to make the changes final myself, which can be done at any point in the process). In addition, I can include comments to help explain the changes if you want. Let me take your hard work and scholarship and turn it into a finished product!
