I searched for a while before finding Train at Home Atlanta. I wasn't looking for a boot camp or a powderpuff experience. I wanted solid, evidence-based strategies and not the latest fad. Train at Home Atlanta delivered. Every session was new and fresh. I did things I never knew I could do like boxing and yoga. The trainers are knowledgeable not only about the workout, but also about the mind-body connection. I learned stress busting strategies, talked about no-nonsense nutrition and was even encouraged to try therapeutic massage as well as a kinesiology program to help me move better. Train at Home Atlanta is the whole package and you'll leave each session feeling like you can accomplish anything.
Nabin was one of the teachers who served at my 20 year old daughter's and my 200 hour teacher training course in Nepal at the YOGA home. I have been a inconsistent practitioner of yoga for 43 years, which has given me the advantage of being exposed to a number of teachers with different styles. Nabin is the most generous teacher that I have known. He has a unlimited amount of patience, engaging a group of students with differing lifestyles, experience levels and commitment to the practice of YOGA. Even though it is clear that he takes his own practice seriously and is a complete master, he never made those around him feel any judgment for having a different standards or talent levels. He applauded both the novice and the technical expert as if there was no difference, exhibiting the true principles of the Yogi's philosophy. He was consistent in his attitude, encouragement, physical discipline, poses and structured routine of ASTANGA YOGA. He was flexible with the needs of his senior students, never asking them to move into positions that could lead to physical harm while encouraging them to stretch their comfort zone to meet their greatest capacity. He was enthusiastic about his practice, inspiring the youth to participate with abandon, enabling them to develop into their potential and feel accomplished and engaged in the practice. He was respectful to his students as if they were his teachers, recognizing the light of the divine in each. He was truly a pleasure to work with and to be coached by. His genuine warmth, words of encouragement and spirit of unconditional love continue to provide me with encouragement! I highly recommend that you involve yourself with this teacher in whatever training capacity he is offering because your practice will be enriched, your sense of mastery will be expanded and your heart will be more complete. With gratitude , Cynthia
I studied yoga for 20 years before I moved to Atlanta about four years ago. It took me a long time to find the right yoga teacher in Atlanta and Georgia is that teacher. She's the best instructor I've had since I moved to Atlanta and I look forward to my Saturday morning classes every week. I always know that I will leave that class having learned something about yoga, having learned something about myself, and being encouraged to embrace the world.
The "therapy" in Yoga Therapy is resonating with me after the Tuesday class taught by Beth Novian Hughes at the Healing Arts Center in Rome. It was exactly what my body needed.
I love You're Yoga. I'm a newbie and my instructor was super patient with me. I really enjoyed my experience from beginning to end. Highly recommended.

Specializing in Yoga Therapy sets Yoga a part from traditional talk therapy. I feel that in order to change ones life and create a new openings to come into your life you need to connect the mind and the body. For instance Meditation is healing, when you quiet the mind of all the negative and all the things that you are not then you start to allow new openings and energy to come into your life.Clearing space to fully see your potential is major shift. Once the mind is clear then the body can relax and allow for emotionally stability. The mind shifts and the body shifts to one complete connection. Now you can breath, think clearly, stand strong, make concise decisions. The breath in Yoga allows for movement and standing strong in postures while you breath. Breathing through tough postures allows to cease anything negative and bring into you power that you can do it. Be strong be powerful. Starting with someone who is on the brink of despair and showing them that everyday can be beautiful. Even when sadness comes teaching them how to move through the sadness and find hope.

I've taught yoga for the past seven years, completing both my 200 and 500 hour yoga training at peach tree yoga center in Sandy Springs, GA. I have taught over 4,000 hours of yoga and hold an E-RYT 500 certification through the yoga alliance and have served as a mentor and educator for over ten yoga alliance recognized 200-hour certification courses, so I have assisted the certification of over 200 yoga teachers in the Atlanta area. I've taught at several gyms, yoga studios, conferences, camps, and for private clients, one of which was over 80 years old, so I have experience teaching a wide variety of ages and levels. My advanced certification also specialized in teaching breathing and meditation techniques.
I am a 200 RTY certified yoga instructor. I have completed training in 2012 and have taught individual and group classes since October 2012.
My many years of experience with different levels of practice and different body types helps me to develop a great class for any individuals needs. The joy and calm I see on my clients faces after their yoga sessions. People are so busy and hardly ever give time to themselves and when they experience the inner peace you get from practicing yoga it brings them so much joy.
