This teacher training program provides trainees with all of the skills essential to teaching yoga to others. From understanding the body and mind to delineating various yoga practices and applications to proper carriage, poise and speech, trainees emerge from this course ready to begin teaching.
Learn about the body, how it works and how yoga postures, applied correctly, increase one's health and efficiency regardless of age or condition. Yoga can be practiced as a stand-alone wellness practice or as a supplement to other exercise.
Learn a specifically designed teaching sequence, with all necessary modifications, use of props, etc. which can be taught in virtually any yoga class setting.
Become acquainted with the culture and history of yoga, including the ancient language of Sanskrit and notable figures in yogas 5,000 year tradition.
