I have only had 2 lessons with Andy and am surprised at how much he has helped in this short time. I have never taken voice lessons before and am surprised at the improvements with Andy's instruction. I wish I would have found him a long time ago, but better late than never! I would highly recommend him.
Excellent instructor. My 14 year old daughter is learning so much. Stephanie covers all basis of vocal lessons and goes in depth and is extremely patient. Very professional. We would highly recommend her.
I have been impressed with how quickly my 6 yr old granddaughter has picked up playing and learning notes in both treble and bass clefts, even composing simple melodies with the methods Mila uses. The group lessons have encouraged her to see herself as a competent learner; peers lend just enough challenge for her to want to join in with singing and playing. Teachers are attentive to individual needs and reward practice well done.
I have been taking lessons with Nancylee for over 6 months. She is an incredibly knowledgeable teacher. My tone and range have improved dramatically and I am excited to see how much more I can learn. Highest Recommendation!
Great place, wonderful teacher!!!
Vocal lessons in her home studio. New, clean and well appointed environment. Professional, with both academic and performance understanding of music. Personally skilled and able to communicate those skills to kids. Leads kids into many music genre's and vocal styles to expand their appreciation for music and develop their range of tonal expression. Works on developing breathing, and shape of throat, mouth and position of teeth, tongue and lips into a capable and flexible instrument. Can see a significant change in the quality and diversity of spontaneous singing around our home. Looking forward to seeing this continue to develop.
Andi has been our oldest daughter's piano teacher for the past four years. She is amazing, dedicated teacher and our daughter has LOVED taking lessons from her. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a piano teacher for their child. You will not find a kinder, more talented instructor and your child will thrive under her direction!
Esther's love for all things musical borders on all-out nerdiness. She can talk in-depth about everything from operatic to Radiohead. That makes her an engaging and convincing coach. Her broad knowledge enabled her to cater my vocal lessons to the style I was looking for, which was probably different than a lot of vocal students. She's patient, practical, smiles a lot and will be enthusiastic about the direction you want to go. I've been singing untrained for years, and she was able to pinpoint everything about my singing that DID work and what NEEDED work very quickly. I would absolutely recommend her services. Esther is tremendous.
Natalie is a talented piano instructor and possesses a very friendly teaching style. My daughter enjoys her and looks forward to going to her lesson each week!
My 13 year old daughter has been taking voice and piano with Jenn for several years and loves her lessons. Jenn manages to have her working on theory in addition to learning and performing contemporary and popular music pieces. Jenn is not only a great music coach, she is also well organized. Lesson times are held to and what to practice at home is written down. We are so glad she was recommended to us!
I can teach your child how read sheet music, play piano, how to sing and play at the same time and how to be able to start writing music! I charge $20 to $30 for a piano lesson. I charge about $30-$50, depending on the needs, etc. Please text me for quotes, or email me.
I have taught lessons for over 15 years and have over 35 students. I am big on theory and make it fun. That is why I have a lot of students that I have taught for more than 4 years.
Piano lessons and voice lessons are offered in a comfortable home studio. You can't beat getting to use a Yamaha Clavinova digital piano and acoustic grand piano at your lessons. Your teacher has over 15 years of experience and a studio of 35-40 students. All ages are welcome! Adults can learn to read music. Adults with the goal of playing for enjoyment can do easy play on the Clavinova. You will sound great! Come experience the joy of creating music.
I have 35 years of experience in teaching private piano lessons and 18 years of experience teaching group and private voice lessons. I am university-trained in both piano and voice. In piano, I teach theory along with all the major and minor scales, chords, and arpeggios from beginners to advanced students. I enjoy teaching all levels and I have a fun approach to teaching beginners of all ages. I use Faber, Alfred and Bastien lesson books, plus levels 1 through 10 classical books. I also teach technique out of Dozen A Day. Voice lessons include an emphasis on proper breathing (very important), posture and relaxation, many vocalizes (vocal exercises), technique books, diction, and many enjoyable songs to sing and practice. I am positive and patient, with one of my main goals being, to help instill a great love of music in all of my students. I expect students to practice a minimum of five days per week. Lessons are $15.00 per 30-minute lesson and $22.50 per 45-minute lesson (for more advanced students), one lesson each week. I live between Franklin and Overland in Boise close to the Meridian boundary.
I conduct singing lessons. I can teach how to read music as well as how to sing properly. I can help with finding places to participate in choirs, musical theaters, etc.
I teach according to the student's needs and my main motivation is charity.
We provide opportunities for multi-generational lessons for students from toddlerhood through adulthood. We teach through mutual collaboration in our individual Lessons and group Hootenannies. We inspire our students to play music in their own homes, so we invite them to play music in our cozy home studio environment instead of an isolated practice room. Our students not only learn their instrument of emphasis at their lessons, but enjoy dabbling on many other instruments during the Hootenanny sessions. Hootenannies are a group learning experience emphasizing: -"Open mic” performance time -A featured instrument demonstration -A multi-instrumental jam session -Easy chord-theory application in a common key We find our approach allows our students to become true musicians as they understand how to apply their learning with group playing and transfer their skills to other instruments. We teach the following instruments: Violin/fiddle Guitar Piano Drum set Harmonica Banjo Ukulele Mandolin Cajon Shuitar & Percussion
Hello, and thank you for looking on Thumbtack for a private instructor! I teach piano, voice, and guitar to beginner through intermediate levels. I work with each individual and help them gain understanding and competence in what they want to do as a musician. I work with you at your own pace. I have a studio, which is not wheelchair accessible, and for those who are disabled, I will travel to you. I charge more to travel, but I charge everyone for the month in advance. At the studio, I charge $25 per half-hour lesson and $45 per hour. So for 4 weeks, that would equal $100 or $180. If there are five lessons in a month, then the price is adjusted accordingly, i.e., $125 and $225. If I am traveling to you, my prices are $35 per half hour and $55 per hour. My location is 5 minutes north of the airport and 6 minutes west of downtown Boise. The address is 355 N Orchard, upstairs in Suite 207.
I am able to teach piano, guitar, voice, and music lessons. I have many years of professional musical playing experience as well as 15 years of teaching music.
I'm a student so I enjoy learning just as much as my students. I believe I can learn as much from them as they can learn from me.
I can teach singing, piano, music theory, music software (Ableton and Logic), and also instrument building. I love music to my core and would like to share this with students, young and old.
