Prior to working with a trainer I read a lot of exercise books. I watched inspirational movies. I had gone through several gym memberships. I even went to the gym but found myself doing the same exercises with very little results. I weighed 286 lbs. I felt hopeless. Two years ago I began working with Patrick Durbin. I got results. I lost 112lbs! While in Patricks group classes and personal training sessions I learned the tools to lose weight, build muscle, eat healthy, and feel better. I now have the guidance, support and a network of people whom I feel comfortable sharing fitness successes and struggles with. Many times after class we discuss with Patrick healthy recipes/tips with each other as well as upcoming races and events. In his group classes, we all come from different fitness levels but our goal is the same, to be healthier. Patrick is a master at orchestrating a challenging total body workout in a fun environment. His exercise routines keep my body guessing. Ive tried many different things to find happiness in life. For me, starting with an exercise program and then learning proper diet and nutrition has mentally transformed my life into a more honest and joyful dimension. Doesn't matter what kind of shape you are in, he will help you reach your goals. Ryan connects with his clients inside the gym and outside the gym to make sure everyone is staying on track to achieve what they set for themselves. Allen has been training me for well over a year now and he comes to my house 4 times a week. I have a hectic schedule and I am only available in the early mornings at 6 am. Before finding Allen, I had a hard time finding a trainer that was willing to work with my schedule until I found Allen who was flexible, understanding and willing to work with my availability. Once we started training together, I was amazed by his effectiveness as a trainer, nutritionist and an overall guru with a variety of exercises, training techniques, and supplement recommendations to go along with my training. I have worked with many trainers in the past, I think Allen is trainer #6 and I can honestly say he is the real deal! I am in the best shape of my life even though I am approaching 40 years old. It also helps that he is very punctual and in over a year, he has never shown up a minute late to a workout!
Enza was an incredibly helpful resource to me when I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes. From the very first meeting, Enza explained my condition in easy-to-understand terms so I knew what my body was going through. We came up with eating plans and backup plans for days when a set schedule wasn't an option (I work full-time and go to school part time). We also talked about how I could squeeze some low-impact fitness into my hectic schedule. Since I started seeing Enza three weeks ago, I have lost weight because of my experience and I know I am on the right track to lose more. Enza was easy to work with and had down-to-earth goals that fit into my lifestyle. She was professional and friendly, answered all my emails in a timely manner. The best thing about Enza's assistance is that the information and education she gave me can apply to anyone and everyone - not just someone that's diabetic or pre-diabetic. I'm not the type to leave reviews but I feel compelled after seeing amazing results within a few weeks. I'm 22 F, 5'4'', 128 lbs. I was on a ketogenic diet, because I heard it was good online, plus I work out 3-4 days/wk. Before Body Evolution, I lost about 5 lbs. on my own, I was at 138 lbs, but still had some flab and fat around my stomach. So, I decided to do the whole genetic test, and even did a vitamin & mineral test. I got a lab result and well there you have it... told me what I'm sensitive to. Turns out, I was sensitive to fats, meaning the ketogenic diet wasn't right for me. Who would have known? three weeks later and I actually gained 1.5 lbs. funny thing is my mid section and legs are firmer. Turns out, I actually lost fat but gained muscle and they showed me through the measurements and yes I lost like 3" off my waist. So this is why I feel compelled to share. The trainer and nutritionist is very knowledgeable and I'm so happy I bumped into them but total game changer! I can't believe this incredible awesome results in such little time and I'm actually stoked of what more I can push myself to do.... I feel much healthier, faster, more energetic. I definitely would do it all over again and if I could I would give these guys a 10!!!
