The man is indeed handy! Not to mention professional and friendly. Aaron completed multiple jobs with expert accuracy at a truly competitive price. He repaired a leaky pipe to an exterior faucet. He built outdoor steps, removed double doors and replaced them with a single door, installed a door where there was none and built a beautiful walk in closet. He also repaired kitchen moldings and trim work. We are very happy with his work and would recommend him to anyone. We have already hired him for the next project...deck staining and replacing old bath fixtures, etc.
King David's handymen came to my home to replace my kitchen cabinets. They were professional and punctual. The work was completed to my satisfaction and I would recommend them to anyone needing repairs for they offer great prices and conduct wonderful work.
John and his brother Mario's complete kitchen, and flooring work was the best thing that ever happened to my kitchen. Barrale Brothers Painting and Remodeling, LLC had performed an excellent, high quality work remodeling my kitchen. Flooring as well was outstanding. I am extremely happy with the outcome and have asked John to give me a bid for the main bathroom to be renovated next.
My experience with Greg Pratt and his family has been a pleasant one. They gave me quick and courteous service, answered my questions, and made the whole experience enjoyable. The work they did for me, painted my whole house and kitchen cabinets, was excellent. I have, and will continue to,recommend their services to my friends.
Susan is amazing. She helped us move into our new house and organized our kitchen, office, closets, mudroom, all of it. She's exceeded my expectations with every project and transformed the way our busy family functions. No more lost keys, paperwork, glasses. No more piles of stuff. She also has a keen design sense and comes up with creative solutions and design ideas. I'm so much more relaxed and happy and efficient. Plus, she's a delightful person and fun to work with. She loves what she does and it shows.
Eric Williams, Owner/President of Advanced Interior Construction is in a league all his own. From the initial correspondence I knew he was not an ordinary contractor, he is by far the most professional contractor I have ever worked with! I requested a custom built-in bookcase for our living room which is the focal wall of the home, with the TV on the side and not above the mantel to take away the center focus of the room from the TV. In addition, I had ugly brick that I wanted to cover up as well. He personally drew a design for me that blew me away. I am in no way talented at design but I have images in my head of what I want and he drew it perfectly. It was exactly what I was thinking and he executed with care and diligence. One of the most impressive things was, I prefer to get progress updates every so often and usually I am the one reaching out and contacting the contractor to see where we are with a project, Eric reached out to me first each time progress was made which impressed me beyond words. I already have ideas in mind to update the master bath and I wouldn't use anyone except Eric. He is extremely talented, professional, and a genuinely nice person. Not to mention he and his crew cleaned up after working each day to help cause as little disturbance during the construction as possible. This enhancement to our home is priceless to me and I am very grateful I found Eric on Thumbtack!
I am delighted to provide this recommendation for Candice Wideman and Youtopia Designs. I hired Candice to help me completely remodel and redecorate the first and second floors of my house, and she exceeded my expectations in every way. I needed someone who could not only figure out how to create more modern, comfortable, user-friendly living areas within the space available but also provide attractive decor recommendations that could withstand use and abuse by my five cats. Candice expertly filled this role and helped turn my cramped, dated townhouse into a beautiful, functional, easy-to-clean sanctuary. Throughout both projects (first floor in 2014 and second floor in 2016), I found Candice to be a great listener and an enthusiastic advocate for my vision. She provided recommendations that fit within my budget and communicated her concerns regarding some of my less-workable ideas with a balance of diplomacy and frankness that I appreciated. I also loved the fact that she incorporate cat-friendly elements into the design. She provided a perfect cat-feeding station with a built-in bowl platform (to keep dishes off the floor and out of walkways) in the kitchen. On the second floor, she designed hinged window seats with cat hidey-holes beneath them. She consistently provided updates via email, text, and phone and saw to it that contractor-interaction was as unintrusive upon my schedule as possible. Candice’s passion for her work is evident in all that she does. She’s confident, cheerful, and a true joy to work with. The kitchen, living space, bathrooms, and bedrooms she designed for me are exactly what I wanted. I recommend her to every person I know, whether they’re in need of home design assistance or not, and I will absolutely be contacting her when I’m ready to tackle the basement.
Kitchen remodel / addition.. Brad and James are wonderful!! They listened to what we wanted and made suggestions to make our kitchen even better then what we were expecting!!! We have a couple more remodeling ideas for the house and will be using Bi-State for those projects as well!! We highly recommend Bi-State they are very professional!!!
I originally had James with Magnolia come out to power wash and stain my patio. He did an amazing job. So I spoke to him about some other jobs we needed done. He told me they also did custom kitchens, bathrooms and all kinds of stuff. So I had them install an aluminum fence and build an outdoor fire pit with a paver seating area . All I can say is wow! It looks amazing. My outdoor living space is the envy of all my neighbors and friends. I recommend Magnolia to anyone looking to get a good job done at a fair price!
Terri created the layout and design for our furniture and rugs. We absolutely love it!! The room looks so good and blends well with our living room too! We can't believe how much better the room looks.
DeMar is a wonderful interior designer. She creates interior with style and class but yet comfortable and functional. Her eye for elegance and beauty is unsurpassed! I would highly recommend her!
I had a remodeling project to completely refinish my kitchen, 2 bathrooms and basement. B&C Contracting was 1 of 5 quotes that I received. They were extremely professional being that they didn't just simply give me a random estimate but they came and looked at everything I was interested in remodeling. Overall, they responded with an estimate the same day and I decided to hire them. They were able to take out what was there prior, take out a few walls, add new lighting areas in my ceiling, put in cabinets, countertops and appliances, put up drywall, re pour concrete, put in my flooring, paint and do general carpentry. They also installed a few new windows and doors. The job was finished in a couple weeks and the update looks perfect. We will eventually add an additional garage and rehire B&C Contracting Specialist to do this project as well.
KDB Home Improvements did a fantastic job with the framing project for a 115 year old 4-family unit. KDB is a problem solver. He ran into several challenges dealing with an old property such as rotted floor boards & joists, uneven walls and uneven floors. For every challenge that popped up, KDB used it as an opportunity to showcase superior carpentry skills. The crew always showed up on time, with their gear and were all very professional. They were fairly quiet on the job site. They just show up and work. I never had to wonder if they were going to be on time. They had full access to the property and I trusted them completely. There are several more projects that I have scheduled and KDB will get the first opportunity to bid on them. I would use them again without hesitation and would highly recommend them for any home improvement projects whether you are planning a complete gut rehab like my project or a kitchen or bath renovation.
The team did a wonderful job of removing old wall paper from my kitchen, then finishing and painting the walls. They were quick and efficient and everything was as they quoted. Definitely recommend this team.
I can't say enough good things about my experience with Dottie Eaton of Design & Style. My home looks fabulous and really reflects my personal style. The minute I met Dottie I knew I had encountered a kindred spirit and a new friend. She really listened to me and understood that I wanted my home to be creative and unique space. She brought ideas to the project that I never would have thought of myself. The furnishings and accessories she helped me select are truly special. My home is one of a kind thanks to her special touch and attention to detail. I could not have found these items on my own and I am so grateful for her guidance and expertise. The furniture arrangements suit the rooms perfectly and the beautiful colors create a cohesive and original environment. I love how she was able to incorporate many of the things I already owned into the redesign. This was a super fun and rewarding experience. Every step along the way Dottie let me know that my satisfaction was her most important priority. I can't believe I ever considered doing this on my own. Dottie saved me a lot of time and ultimately a lot of money, because I am sure that without her help I would have made some unfortunate design blunders. Everyone who visits me just raves about my creative and welcoming home. Dottie is the best!
Working with Adam was a great experience- great “big picture” ideas for our kitchen renovation. He was extremely accommodating to our budget and design style while offer suggestions that worked well for both.
Despite our efforts to find a new home that was, "move in ready" the competitive home market and limited number of properties, lead us to consider buying a fixer upper and then hiring a contractor to make it "move in ready." I am an extremely anxious person and buying a new home is a very stressful situation on its own. Finding a contractor on top of everything else, was something that we had a lot of concerns about. From the start, Trinity Contracting (Tad), was very accommodating and provided us with a free estimate. During our first meeting it was apparent that he understood what we were trying to do and already had made some great recommendations. Once we decided to work with Trinity, things moved quickly and demo seemed to fly by. The scope of work was pretty large with 2 full bathroom demos, 1 main wall demo, 2 half wall demos, and complete demo of all the flooring except the bedrooms. Tad provided an aggressive timeline of 6-8 weeks for project completion and many others told me to expect double the time a contractor states. Not the case with Tad, work was almost completely done by week 8 with the exception of some minor finishing touches and we were able to move into the home on schedule. Tad was very involved during the process and took us shopping to pick out tile, wood flooring, bathroom fixture, etc. He was able to help us tremendously with pricing and also did a great job of mediating between my wife and I when we were split on a decision. Tad was also helpful about keeping our budget in mind and made sure that we did not go over on anything unless we wanted to. If there was a decision to be made which would cost more, Tad was there to discuss what things could wait and which would make more sense to do now. Tad and his wife, Shell, were very flexible at every step in the process and went out of their way to make things as easy as possible when we needed to meet. The project come out beautifully and Tad really stepped up in the end to make sure we had everything that was agreed upon despite a error made by a supplier. This really made me confident in Trinity, Tad, and his wife Shell as business and I look forward to working with them if we are lucky enough to finish our kitchen and/or basement in the future. I have already referred a couple of others to Trinity who were looking for contractors and would continue to do so if asked for a reference.
You guys are the BEST!!
I have been working at Interior Design Services with MES for all my projects in Louisiana. I love Angel attention to detail and I love the way she accomplish the challenges. She listen each customer individual needs and work hard every day to offer the best in the market. The Team with the Structural Engineer and Architect makes it a no brainer to select them every time because I know they will cover all the aspect of the project and give peace of mind
Pam was very helpful with selections for our new kitchen design.
Jeanne listened to what my vision was for my kitchen. I had ideas of things I wanted to change and Jeanne came back with those ideas and more. My kitchen was 17 years old and even had the original appliances. We gutted it from the floor up. Just the lightening alone made a huge difference. My kitchen was literally down to the studs and it was back in function in 5 weeks.( that was waiting on special order items that I wanted). She took the time to shop with me and guide me when I got over whelmed. The only thing that went wrong, is that a focal point tile behind my cooktop looked wrong to me( but I had looked at so many) and I stated this to the tile installer, but he said it matched the invoice number( I didn't have a sample), After he installed it, I took a picture to show Jeanne and she knew it was wrong right away, and resolved the problem. In the future I would suggest that the homeowner have all samples, along with Jeanne. Otherwise it was truly an easy experience.
