I have been working with Shawn for only a few weeks and am already extremely pleased with his training. In a very short period of time, I already feel stronger, leaner, and energized. Shawn's workouts are very specific to each client. It doesn't matter how old you are, your individual athletic background, or what your personal goals are; Shawn will find a workout routine that is effective, personalized, and fun. Shawn is very knowledgeable about nutrition and healthy eating habits. His guidance and expertise have enlightened me to make better dietary choices. He will push you to stay competitive with yourself while simultaneously making sure you are being safe and mindful of what will help your body versus what could be harmful. It doesn't matter who you are or what you're specifically looking to get out of personal training, Shawn will make your goals realistic and educate you on the best way to get there. I met with Ken today for the free consultation and was very impressed. He took the time to listen to me, a 74-year-old woman who turned out to be even more out of shape than I thought I was! He asked questions and, from my answers, not only identified problems I knew I had, but some I didn't know I had - and showed me how to begin to fix them. He spent about an hour with me, helping me perform exercises and telling me why certain things I had been doing on my own were beneficial and why others were not helping at all. We discussed options and who I would have as a trainer, what my preferences were, and what I was able to budget. As soon as he receives medical clearance from my doctor I will begin the program with the trainer he feels would be the best fit for me. I have absolutely no reservations about the training that will be provided and am confident that it will help reduce and eventually eliminate the chronic pain I had been suffering with for over a year now. Even this evaluation session has already helped - I now know what to do to temporarily reduce some of the worst pain I suffer with so that I can function better, walk better, and move better than I've been able to for the past year or so. I look forward to a long and beneficial relationship with We Fit U.
I had not worked out regularly in years and Michael in a very short time has already improved my mobility, strength and fitness level. Michael tailors the training sessions to you - I always feel like I get a great workout and am more motivated at the end of each session. Each training session is a little different, keeps things interesting and makes me look forward to working out. Michael is also a great resource for diet and nutrition information as well - I highly recommend Michael!
Scott helped me rehab a very serious arm injury (biceps re-attachment). I am now fully recovered and training harder than before my accident. Allen has been training me for well over a year now and he comes to my house 4 times a week. I have a hectic schedule and I am only available in the early mornings at 6 am. Before finding Allen, I had a hard time finding a trainer that was willing to work with my schedule until I found Allen who was flexible, understanding and willing to work with my availability. Once we started training together, I was amazed by his effectiveness as a trainer, nutritionist and an overall guru with a variety of exercises, training techniques, and supplement recommendations to go along with my training. I have worked with many trainers in the past, I think Allen is trainer #6 and I can honestly say he is the real deal! I am in the best shape of my life even though I am approaching 40 years old. It also helps that he is very punctual and in over a year, he has never shown up a minute late to a workout!
I feel so fortunate to have met Bob. I was in a car accident and having terrible back issues. I was under the care of a pain management specialist and still not getting much relief. I decided to start training with Bob to build my core strength. He reviewed my MRI and we started a training program. I cant believe how much better I am feeling. I used to have consistent back pain and now I only have a bad day here and there. I started because of my back issues but I continue training because I am amazed at how far I have come and realize when I don't train my back starts bothering me and the sciatica returns. I didn't go into this to lose weight or get a toned body. I just wanted to feel better. The bonus is I have lost weight lost inches and I really enjoy getting these weekly workouts in. I love that Bob is always there for you, listens to your concerns, modifies exercises for your health concerns and always has great motivating suggestions. He always has a great variety of workouts and his quick wit will keep you on your toes.
Oh goodness where to begin! Well, I started working with Jim 4 years ago as a student of his, working toward a degree in Exercise Sport Science. I will always remember the very first class with him-a Strength Training Technique and Programming course. I had never really trained before (at least not correctly) so he was certainly starting from scratch with me. I then fell in love with strength training and weightlifting as I progressed through my time at UW-L due to the passion Jim brought to teaching and coaching as well as his wealth of knowledge and experience in the field. Jim is a remarkable trainer, teacher, coach, and friend because he honestly cares about each client. He knows just how much to push, when to dial it back, demonstrates a great deal of patience when few people would, and always finds a way to make it enjoyable! His dedication as a trainer and the efforts he puts in to expanding his knowledge and experience inspires me to do the same. Jim certainly lit a fire under me and helped me find my passion! Even now, as our careers have lead us many miles apart, he still manages to be an awesome weightlifting coach and continues to make me a better athlete and person!
Mike is a really great trainer. I have worked out with him two to three times a week for the past five years! Over that time I have lost weight, toned my muscles and increased my stamina. He makes a workout fun and plays good music. He is very knowledgable about the muscular-skeletal system and knows exactly what exercises to do to help you accomplish your specific goals. Before I started working out with mike, exercise had very little place in my day-to-day life. Now I work out every day--with mike and on my own--because it makes me feel so much better physically and mentally.
