I stand out because I lost 75lbs so can relate to my clients. I also have testimonials and am results oriented. While I do need enough clients to stay in business, I believe in quality over quantity and only train one body at a time unless however 2 people signed up together. I do encourage couples of all kinds to train together and a couples package is just 20% additional then training solo, not like double the rate as some of the larger gyms out there. I provide the one on one that many people need to push them, offer nutritional support up to and including regular texts checking on food eaten on a particular day and inquiring about extra cardio or activities done on a clients off day Helping others achieve their goal using my expertise. Enjoying the successes and stories of others as they begin to see progress! Seeing a client go from a 40" waist to a 36" waist, now that is quite powerful and incredibly motivating. Imagine their freinds noticing all the changes and all the comments they will start to get. Oh goodness where to begin! Well, I started working with Jim 4 years ago as a student of his, working toward a degree in Exercise Sport Science. I will always remember the very first class with him-a Strength Training Technique and Programming course. I had never really trained before (at least not correctly) so he was certainly starting from scratch with me. I then fell in love with strength training and weightlifting as I progressed through my time at UW-L due to the passion Jim brought to teaching and coaching as well as his wealth of knowledge and experience in the field. Jim is a remarkable trainer, teacher, coach, and friend because he honestly cares about each client. He knows just how much to push, when to dial it back, demonstrates a great deal of patience when few people would, and always finds a way to make it enjoyable! His dedication as a trainer and the efforts he puts in to expanding his knowledge and experience inspires me to do the same. Jim certainly lit a fire under me and helped me find my passion! Even now, as our careers have lead us many miles apart, he still manages to be an awesome weightlifting coach and continues to make me a better athlete and person!(show less)
