ISA Euro Construction did around 60 sq feet of kitchen glass tile backsplash installation. The job was done by 2 men in a few hours. The end result is beautiful. They cleaned up afterwards and answered any questions I had. I would recommend them for any tile installation service.

We were looking to have some new tile installed in our bathroom. After talking to several people, Ron was the most eager to assess our situation and help us. We also had the opportunity to work with his son, he too is very skilled and a pleasure to work with. I have the utmost confidence in Ron and his son for any and all work around our home.

So first of, Andrei Viscribov and his workers and partner are very professional, reliable and fair priced. They fallow on there words and when the job will be done and stick to the price and don't give you any surprise extra expenses. On October 2015 we were in need of a tile specialist installer to install tile in the bathroom and do the back splash in our kitchen over the granite countertops, After renovating our kitchen and bath. We went through different websites and stumbled on Thumbtack, here after many searches we decided to go with Andriy which would be the best decision we have ever made. I called him after couple of emails back and forth. So I told him I would need it done in a week and he said he would need to see the job first to see price and time the job would be Finnished. So after a couple of days we called him back and asked him to the the job. They were on time showing up for the job, they were prepared to start the demo and begin the job, these guys were so clean and neat with removing the dirt and super clean in installing the tile and backsplash it was perfectly aligned. They did an amazing job from the start of the job to the end. This is the second contractors we had worked with that met more of our expectations, the other contractor that did the wood floors in our and gas pipe did a horrible job, the moral to this last sentence that I have learned is, the cabinet Instaler & tile installer were both Russian & Ukrainian who Did an amazing job and met more than what we expected. My advice to anyone who is looking to do bath and kitchen tilling and want a smooth process with no headache and have an amazing outcome Andrei Viscribov and his team are the only right choice for the job. The horrible contractors who did a bad job in our other projects were Mexicans. Now I am Philipino so I am reviewing this as my experience in who we have worked with.

At first I hired Tom to move some plumbing in my kitchen remodel. He was on time, professional and very reasonably priced. He left our initial appointment just for an estimate with more work than he bargained for and each week I added more. In the end, he remodeled half of my house. From plumbing to electrical to tile to drywall, etc.. His crew is great and very respectful. My master bath looks amazing. Before he even finished my job I was referring him to family and friends. Do yourself a favor and hire him if you are reading this review. You won’t be disappointed.

Master Bathroom remodel done with expertise: demolition, tub, shower, tile, vanity, lights, sink, tile, grout, paint, hardware, faucets, valves. I had a contractor bail on the project, after doing the demolition and building the room (incorrectly). Ron came to the rescue with a professional demeanor, prompt arrival to quote, and explained the work involved. Not only was Ron able to work within the conditions, he reconfigured the other contractor's work to not require a complete demolition again. Ron has a knowledge of building codes and built the bathroom properly, including: reframe shower cubicle, laid concrete backer boards, repaired tub surround, installed tile straight, even, consistent, connected plumbing, electric, fixtures (very heavy stuff, but he handled it well with his colleague). I trusted Ron in my home, with the deposit and he was enjoyable to converse with and let me know in great detail about the project (before performing work). I'm pleased with the results and everything is still working great after 3 months, no leaks and nothing has broken.

I hired AVM to re-tile an entire bathroom. They demo'd old tile, hung new durock, and installed new marble, porcelain and glass tiles. The team did an amazing job. They even replaced a rotten subfloor when discovered. They were on-time, professional, and finished the job extremely fast. I'd highly recommend and will use them again for my next project.

I hired Kosterna Construction to do various drywall projects, including building the framing and insulating the walls. They also put in support beams where needed, built a sub floor for tile in the kitchen, installed an exterior door with frame, built frames/molding around windows, evened out a sloping floor/ ceiling. I was able to buy my own materials and paid them for the labor. They are very experienced in all new construction and remodeling. Very nice, reliable, easy to work with. I thought they did great work for a fair price and plan on hiring them for future projects! attached are some photos

I can't say enough about Michael and the quality of work from him and his team. No remodeling job goes perfect, but he is there every step of the way to make sure the finished product meets expectations. He stands by his work and his number 1 priority is customer satisfaction. He even went out of his way to notice and replace a rotting piece of wood on the OUTSIDE of my house by the sliding glass doors. We had Michael and his team install 900sq ft of red oak with Early American stain. He only uses the Sentico finish which will truly make your floor look like a sheet of glass. He should have some pictures in his portfolio. It is truly beautiful flooring. After the Sentico was applied we noticed a run in it. Michael had to redo the finish so he put us up for the night in a local hotel. He installed all new baseboards and painted them, and installed the wooden vent covers. We also had him install tile. He noticed that the tiles were not all from the same lot which was a good catch because the grout lines were off. I returned them and bought new tile. We hired his team to paint the house as well. All in all it looks like a brand new house on the first floor. I will definitely use Michael for future projects. Thank you Advanced Flooring!

I hired Claudio to tile my backsplash in my kitchen. He quoted me a very fair price, showed up on time despite a snow storm and did an excellent job! He was cheerful and pleasant throughout the whole process and cleaned up everything leaving the kitchen the same as when he arrived (except nicer with the new tile)! I plan on using Claudio for other projects in my house and am happy to have found a handyman that not only follows up but shows up and does a great job.

We hired Mark to tear out vinyl tile from our 2 bathroom floors and replace it with ceramic. The price he quoted us was the price we paid and his work was fantastic. We had both our bathrooms finished in only 3 days total. Couldn't be any happier!

Steve is a professional and did an awesome job. My new ceramic floors are beautiful! I hired Steve to tile 2 rooms; downstairs bedroom (over concrete) and kitchen(over plywood sub -floor) My ceramic tile is 6x24 with 1/16 grout and both rooms turned out beautiful! Steve and his partner Jerry arrived early and on time.Everything stayed clean and organized. The quality of work I'd rate at expert. I'm very happy with the work and new look of my two rooms. Last winter, the snow really took a toll on my roof and subsequently, my living room. Once I got the roof fixed, I needed the living room ceiling repaired and painted. I contacted Perfect Interiors and Ed (the owner) gave me a very reasonable quote to do the entire room. The workers arrived on time, repaired the water damage and painted the ceiling. Ed helped me pick out the perfect wall color as well as an accent color for one wall. I can hardly believe it's the same room! Ed was so helpful I decided to have him remodel my master bathroom. I didn't know where to start but he assisted with choosing a vanity top, sink, fixtures, tile and paint colors. Once again, they did a wonderful job. Five stars!!

Vince explained in detail the process, brought in samples to show the color options and explained how long it would take to complete the job. He had his installer use Armstrong vinyl tiles, a product that my parents used when they did the family room after moving into their home. The installer took his time to make the room look like new again! Vince did come out to inspect the floor after the job was complete.

I was doing a full house rehab and I hired him to redo 3 full bathrooms. He was GREAT!! He was always on time, flexible to work with, worked very hard, honest, neat & clean, and he walked me through all the steps, while he listened to what I was looking for while keeping me within my budget! He ripped out all the old tile, toilets, sinks, counters and he identified ways where I could recycle some of the material to reuse inside the new upgraded rooms. He even helped me coordinate where and what counters to pick, what new hardware to install that matched the vision he helped me create with the tile work he installed. He’s definitely got the eye for turning things into amazing finishes and he was able to make the rooms stand out with a WOW that I now love to show off as part of the whole house rehab project. I’ve referred him already a couple times and I will use him again when needed. He’s got vision and tenacity that I really appreciated during my renovation project.

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much does it cost to get tiling done?

You can install tiling on your floors, walls, counters, kitchen backsplash, outdoor patio and shower — to name a few places. Tile is beautiful, easy to clean, durable, and resilient against kids and pets. The national average for tile installation cost ranges between $490 and $750. Often, tile installation specialists quote a price per square foot for installation. Costs can increase if you want the pro to supply the tile instead of ordering it yourself. Other factors that can increase cost include specialized installation with a unique design that will require more labor to install.

Prep work will also affect tile installation costs. Demolition of the existing floor, counter or backsplash takes time and energy that will be reflected in the price. Necessary repairs, such as a sub-floor that needs bolstering before tile flooring can be installed, will also increase costs. For tile showers, one example of tile installation cost may be approximately $25 per square foot including all materials and labor. Average tile installation costs for backsplashes may run anywhere from $10 to $40, depending on the materials selected and the amount of labor required. The larger the area where tile is being installed, the lower the price per square foot will likely be. For example, a flooring pro may charge approximately $3.50 per square foot for wood-look tile installation in an area ranging between 6 feet by 24 feet and 8 feet by 48 feet.

How much does it cost to tile a shower?

The cost of tiling a shower depends on two main factors: the size of the shower and the quality of the tiles. In general, most professional tilers charge an average of $25 per square foot of tiled area and the national average cost for a tile installation project is $490-$750. The tiles themselves are the greatest variable; the cost depends on their size, shape, pattern and manufacturer. For example, tile purchased at a volume discount from a big-box store cost far less than tiles made in small batches by an artisan ceramics shop. Prices can range from as little as $1 to $50 or more per square foot of tile. Other factors that will drive up the total tile installation cost are grout and mortar, speciality tiles like bullnose caps or soap holders, and surface prep materials, especially if drywall needs to be replaced before the tile can be installed. Many tile installers will also remove and haul away any old materials from an existing shower installation.

How much does it cost to tile a bathroom?

Tile installation costs are a key part of your bathroom remodel costs. The tile you select (which can range from under $2 per square foot to $50 per square foot or more), the demolition and repair work required prior to installation, and the size of the job will all affect cost. You can install tile in the shower, on the counters, on the wall or on the floor. The national average for tile installation cost ranges between $490 and $750. Bathroom tile is easy to clean and durable for daily life. Here are some examples of average bathroom tile installation costs:

  • Tile installation at $25 per square foot of tiled bathroom area.
    • A standard tub and shower combo requires tiles for approximately 60 inches of length. Calculate wall height and add 30 to 36 inches of tub width for the walls at the head and foot of the tub. If the tile walls are 6 feet to 8 feet high, in this example, the tile installation costs would run about $2,000. Price includes materials.
  • Tile installation on a 3-foot by 5-foot regular tub and shower walls with an 8-foot ceiling: $1,450. Price includes materials.
  • Tile installation on a 3-foot by 5-foot regular tub and shower walls with a 10-foot ceiling: $1,650. Price includes materials.

How much does it cost to install a ceramic tile floor?

Tile installation costs for ceramic floors depend on the type of tile you select. You can purchase tile that sells for under $2 per square foot or tile that costs $50 per square foot — or more for artisanal and hand-painted tiles. The cost of labor to install a tile floor will also depend on the tile you select. It is far less labor-intensive to install a white 12-inch by 12-inch square tile than a 2-inch by 2-inch hexagonal tile with a distinct pattern. That extra time and energy equates to a higher per-square-foot installation cost. For example, a flooring pro may charge approximately $3.50 per square foot for labor to install wood-look tile in an area ranging between 6 feet by 24 feet and 8 feet by 48 feet. That same pro may charge $6 or more per square foot for a more intricate pattern, or a smaller space. Some installers may charge a minimum day rate for ceramic tile floor installation, such as $340 minimum per day, to cover business expenses and employee wages. If you’re looking to reduce costs, removing your existing flooring and handling any repairs needed can help eliminate prep work costs. Prep work may be charged per hour and could cost anywhere from $25 to $80 per hour or more, depending on the region and the type of repair work necessary.

How much does it cost to install tiles in a kitchen?

One of the most common kitchen upgrades is installing decorative backsplash tiles in the space between the counters and cabinets. It’s a chance for homeowners to get creative while also protecting the kitchen walls from splashes and stains. Like all tiling projects, kitchen tile project costs depend on the tiles you choose, installation materials such as grout and mortar, and any surface materials, like replacement backer board. The national average for a tiled kitchen backsplash is $490-$750. In general, pricing averages $10-$40 per square foot for installation, not including tile. Some professional tile installers have a minimum day rate for small projects, which averages $350.
