The person from EasyFix showed up within an hour, and was very professional and efficient. Our refrigerator freezer stopped working very well, and he was able to make an assessment (an issue with Frion leak) and gave his honest advice about whether to repair or replace. The repair man was four hours late. He Couldn’t even get the freezer door open to trouble shoot the problem, and simply told me to unplug the unit and let it thaw, for which he charged me $85. Meanwhile, I called ABT and someone came out the next day and fixed the issue within 15 mins. Please don’t waste your time or money!

I broke the cheap cup filler on my 5 YO Whirlpool French door fridge. The part was only about $35 but you have to take the door off the freezer, remove all the drawers and completely disassemble then reassemble the icemaker to fix it. Anton was able to fix it with only a few days notice, he picked up the part beforehand and repair was done in about an hour. Very nice accomplished repairperson. I did do some research up front to ID which part was needed so it probably saved me some dough.

On the evening of 8/8/24, at 9 PM, I contacted Astera Heating & Cooling because my LG freezer fridge stopped working. I was promptly contacted, and I scheduled an appointment for the next day, 8/9/24. I explained the issues with my fridge, and the technician, Dima T, arrived to assess the problem. He determined that the compressor had failed. He assisted me in opening a warranty authorization with LG because my fridge was still under warranty for parts. Dima explained the labor cost and scheduled to return on 8/10/24 to complete the repair. He finished the repair ahead of the anticipated time of 3–4 hours. Excellent service! I would highly recommend and will definitely book again. It’s been 3 days, and everything is working well so far!

I called ApplyProTech via Thumbtack because my GE side by side wasn't working. First the icemaker stopped making ice. Then I noticed the ice inside was melting and the fridge was warm. Eddie is a talented, hard-working guy. At first he thought just one part was needed. Then when he installed it, he saw a second part was needed. He helped me find the best price/delivery times for the parts. He also explained things to me. At times we were at the mercy of the delivery by the parts maker. The whole repair was more expensive than anticipated, but it beats the cost of buying a new appliance -- so I'm happy. Eddie came back a couple times to get the job done. And he didn't charge for labor the last time. My fridge/freezer is working again. I would use ApplyProTech again. Thanks, Eddie.

I have a four year-old Samsung bespoke refrigerator, the icemaker and the refrigerator portion were not working. Our first appointment was 5/16 and the last 6/4 with one of the multiple times being mid scheduled. I made three payments totaling $630 and my refrigerator was never fixed. I ended up calling someone else and paying them to replace the fan in the refrigerator for an additional $380. Fixies replaced fan in the freezer instead of the refrigerator even though I questioned the logic of that given the refrigerator was the part that wasn’t cooling. The icemaker was replaced twice because the first one did not work. The last visit the technician said that a sensor parts needed to be ordered and because my four-year-old refrigerator was so old. It was difficult to find the last visit. The technician asked me if I had another filter which I gave him. He told me at the end of that visit to wait eight hours to see if it was making ice. He left around 5:30 and I woke up the next morning to my kitchen being flooded leaking into my basement where I have electrical equipment for work, luckily it was not damaged. However, my hardwood floors in the kitchen are now buckled which will be very expensive to fix. On a couple of the visits, I gently ask the technician if he was sure about what he was doing, trying to give him an out if he didn’t. The second icemaker it appears was not ordered because I was blamed for not letting them know it wasn’t working when it was the technician who stated he would be ordering it. I was without a refrigerator for three weeks and still would be had I not hired and paid for a second repair man.
