My daughter started piano lessons with Stacey just a month ago but she is so excited every week to go. We have been very happy with how Stacey has progressed her - continually adding more difficult pieces to work on to see what she can do. This is our first experience w music lessons of any type and we are really happy with Stacey De & Co! Even my son, who never wants to try anything new, has started asking about taking drum lessons there. We couldn't be happier :)

David has been my drumset teacher for about one year. I like how he makes me write out rhythms and he also taught me how to create drum beats. I've leaned so much studying with David.

After a 4 year hiatus from playing the drums I realized I lost some skill when I started playing again. I decided to take drum lessons from Mike. I studied with Mike for 3 years and it was worth every penny that I paid. Mike helped me a lot with separation and independence in my playing. I would highly recommend Mike to any beginner, intermediate or advanced player.

My wife and I am very fortune to have Andrew Sole as a drum teacher for our twin boys. Our boys have been taking drum lessons from Andrew for two years now. His teaching skills and care are main reasons why our boys enjoy his drum lessons. We highly recommend Andrew's drum lessons to all. Thank you, Andrew!

My 8yr old son really likes having his drum lessons with Steve and he explains really well not only to him but explains alot to me which I don't know much about drums so I appreciate that, plus my son loves the songs he picks out for him to play on his drums with. Ask my son "he shows me a lot of good/new things and is a really good teacher" I recommend taking lessons with Steve

I contacted Jerry, inquiring about in-home guitar lessons for my daughter. He replied immediately with helpful suggestions of an instructor. When I realized my daughter wanted a female instructor Jerry went out of his way to find out more about my daughter and the kind of instructor who would be compatible with her. He then suggested one of two female instructors he felt would meet her needs. I was impressed with the time and effort he put into helping me find an instructor for her. This was extraordinary that he would take the time to help me when it did not directly benefit him and he did not even know me! I had originally contacted Jerry because of his highly regarded reputation for teaching and instruction. But now I also hold him in high regard for his kindness and dedication to helping others find their way into the world of music.

My son has been taking lessons from Greg for about 8 months. He has made great gains and really likes Greg's style of instruction. It is great that he can come to our home and my son can learn on his own drum set. He is flexible when scheduling conflicts arise and always makes sure that my son gets a full lesson! We are very happy with Greg and I highly recommend him If you are looking for a quality, personable instructor!

We had a wonderful experience with Dan as my son's drum instructor. My son started at a fairly young age (6) and was interested in playing more what he heard on the radio, anywhere from Taylor Swift to Metallica. Dan was extremely patient in developing his lessons with my son by incorporating these types of songs in his lesson and keeping my son's interest up throughout the 30 minute lesson/"jam session." I'd highly recommend Dan to anyone interested in learning drum skills like those of Neil Peart, Buddy Rich, and other rock and roll legends.

I got to Taylor's class every Saturday, and have a great time! We learn to play each drum part of a rhythm. It is part history lesson and carrying on tradition of the song. In his class you can drop in and be able to play with no experience necessary! I think everyone should try one class, because you might be surprised how you like! you get to go away with worldly knowledge from a worldly man who has patience and fun all in one!

    About

Hi! My name is Andy and I've been playing drums since I was 6 years old (now 31.) I'm very experienced and love teaching people how to play! I have worked at a children's music school in Chicago and taught lessons at multiple music stores. I also play multiple instruments and am in a band that plays shows around the city.

    About

I have played drums for 40 years and was in the music industry. I worked with Buddy Rich, L. Bellson, and G Krupa. In the area of rock, I have worked with Kansas, Alice Cooper, Rush, Chicago, BS&T, and many more. I teach a standard practical method but also apply what is being taught, so that the student understands theory and develops taste. In this way, they will get invites and earn spots at auditions.

    About

I've studied drums with some of Europe's and Chicago's finest drummers. I can help you develop your technique, timing, feel and style on the kit at a pace that is perfect for you. No matter what your experience is, I will give you my best effort to help you grow as a musician.

    About

Simple. CDL (Chicago's # 1 Drum Lessons) is the only in person one on one drum instruction that offers an extremely original lesson plan on DVD to take home where you can not learn from another teacher, book, etc. Our custom curriculum has been thought out to get a student from point A to point B in their drumming extremely fast, and efficiently. We can also help with a students school band pieces. Just watch some of our sample videos of actual current students. That's our proof!

    About

I'd say that I stand out because I'm somewhat younger than other teachers but well experienced already. I am more up-to-date on the newer styles of drumming but have also taken the time to learn the classics such as jazz and shuffles.

    About

I have been playing drums for 15 years, and I played violin before that. I have played in numerous bands, and I put an EP with my brother's band, Needers & Givers. Some of the tracks were used in episodes of Gossip Girl, a TV show. I come from a long line of professional musicians in my family, including my brother Chris Hoffman, a professional cellist with many professional accomplishments including a piece that was used in the end credits of the movie Shutter Island! I am fluent in rock/pop drumming and many other styles. I like to focus on rhythm and coordination for beginning drummers. I am available some evenings and weekends.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
