I hired Mary to be a yoga instructor for my fitness retreat, and she was the perfect fit. She tailored the class for our needs (gentle yoga for sore muscles). I've done yoga for years with several different instructors, and I believe she is a wonderful teacher!

Valerie is one of the best people you could know. I did yoga with her for about a year until I made a major life change in my career, otherwise I would have kept going. She is just fantastic. She works with you on your level, yet challenges you to go farther than you think you can. It is inspiring. She helped me feel strong and capable. Yoga with her helped my esteem and gave me peace. And I don't think it was just the yoga itself because I've done yoga in my house before and it just isn't the same.

hey...I’m a newbie for Yoga and started few weeks back, practicing both vinyasa and hatha yoga. She (Deepika Meka) talked to me and understood what I’m trying to achieve by practicing yoga and inspired me to go forward into this amazing path. She has great energy and a passion to teach. I’m lucky to find one who understands well and keep us with the pace of learning, because of my guru I found a way to make my life brighter and healthier. I can't thank enough for her incredible inspiration.

Kim Winston is by far one of the best yoga instructors I have had in my six years of taking classes. She has a nice style of teaching and does her homework by making the classes unique. I leave Kim's classes with a feeling of being refreshed and having a calmness. Yoga is so much more than getting in shape....it touches the mind, body and soul. It gets you connected to your inner self. Kim has that ability as an instructor to accomplish just that!

About

I am a yoga teacher and meditation coach in Chicago and Certified Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga and Fitness Specialist. I also specialize in private lessons. I love teaching in that way because I get to create very specific lessons that help my students with what they need in the moment. I help women move through the transformative experiences of pregnancy and motherhood with more ease and grace. I help my students build strength and energy, learn to love and accept their new bodies and get more restorative sleep. I help pregnant women who are struggling with physical aches, discomfort or emotional anxiety have a more easeful, joyful pregnancy and birth experience. My postnatal and "mama & baby" work helps heart-centered mamas heal their core + pelvic floor and regain strength while connecting with their bodies, minds and new babies. I also help overwhelmed, stressed and time-crunched mamas who are struggling with finding time for self-care, cultivate more mindfulness in their parenting and lives in general so they can better support their own needs and those of their family. My integrated approach to working with women includes yoga asana (poses), pranayama (breathing), meditation and Ayurveda techniques. I offer private in-person or virtual sessions, custom coaching programs, workshops and group classes.

About

CallieAnn hails from the mossy, low country of Hilton Head Island, SC. Trekking to Chicago to attend DePaul University’s acting conservatory (also receiving a double major in International Religious Ethics); she was introduced to yoga through a required Iyengar course in college, taught by Gabriel Halpern, and fell hard for the practice. After studying Buddhism/meditation and the influence of Christianity in Japan/bicycling across the northern USA (one side to the other)building houses along the way (with the organization Bike & Build), and volunteering in Ecuador, she settled back in Chicago, deciding to teach yoga, the thing that kept her grounded through all the adventures. CallieAnn is passionate about helping students discover their bodies in new ways, embodying their full potential, and helping them tap into the inner and outer links. In the summer of 2015, she moved with her toddler, Caleb and husband, Matt, to southern Naperville and now teaches in the western suburbs and continues to teach in the city. She is E-RYT 200hr and received her certification from Yoga Now Chicago. She has taught Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga Yoga there for the past 7 years. She has also gone through Ashtanga adjustment training at Yoga Thailand, and completed the Forrest Foundational Certification with Ana Forrest in 2012. CallieAnn also assists with Teacher Trainings and teaches Forrest and various other styles/privates at the East Bank Club in Chicago. She is currently training to become 500 hour certified.
