From the first phone conversation with Mike Watson I knew our evening was going to be great. He was very professional but so easy to work with. When the night came both Mike & Derek showed up with tools in hand and ready to entertain. Our friends were very impressed as were my husband and I. Mike & Derek were fun and invited us to test taste what they were preparing. We all discussed restaurants and downtown Chicago. Theyre background experience is just so off the charts. Who wouldn't want these two in their home cooking for them. Price was very reasonable and the food was outstanding. Good time was had by all and I'd definitely hire them again. My experience with Chef Aram was A+++. Chef Aram did a cooking demonstration and cooked dinner for a small group for my wife's birthday. The food was fantastic and the cooking demonstration was a huge hit with my wife and her family. We will definitely be using him again!!!
Food was very tasty. My guests and I enjoyed the shrimp ceviche the most!! Just wish scallops were grilled longer. Also, the rice in the paella could have been cooked longer. Tamara kept the kitchen clean during prep/cooking. She was very nice and professional.
I was blessed with a year of food prepared by Chef Karen. It was the best year of eating I've ever had. She is able to mold her cooking to the tastes of my housemates and I, while still pushing our palates to a higher level with new, exciting, classic, and creatve dishes. Unfortunately I had to move away, but hope to one day dine under her cheffing again. Oh, she's also very friendly and easy to work with--probably her best attribute.
Sorry about being a little late to review, but Carol is outstanding. We used Carol to prep and cook for my son and his wife's baby shower at our home. Carol came to the house the day before and did the prep work and cooked for 70+ people on the day of the shower. She was punctual, professional and efficient. We would recommend her and cannot wait for our next event to use her again.
My husband and I hired Tracy to prepare two dinners per week, to be dropped of at our River Forest home. Her recipes are outstanding and the food is very fresh and seasonal. The meals include a salad w/homemade dressing, along with the main course and different side dishes. Plus, Tracy is an extremely nice person who was on time, with all the items and directions clearly labeled. We were very impressed and will definitely call her again.
Chef Frank was very professional and quick to respond to all queries. He was flexible in scheduling and location and considerate given that we were in the middle of moving houses. The lesson was a birthday present for my 9 year old daughter and he made it an event to remember. I would highly recommend Chef Frank for cooking/baking lessons.
Ari from Ari's Amazing Creations did a wonderful job at our event. She provided cooking demonstrations of heart healthy lunch and smoothie recipe's and also provided a handout of the recipe's for our patient to take home. She was friendly and entertaining while presenting and everyone loved the demonstrations.
It was a party at home for a friend with a group of friends. Cafe Creole Catering laid out an upscale but inviting presentation. There was attention to detail and each dish was delicious. You could taste the love of cooking. I recommend Chef Kevin and would have him do another event.
Alvin did an incredible job creating the most wonderful dinner party for me and my girlfriends! The food was delicious, the presentation was phenomenal and the service was exceptional! I highly recommend him for his innovative fusion style cooking and ability to craft a magical experience!

Let me set the stage for you: It was crunch time. I had an expected 60 or so guests to arrive at a work function. We didn't have much time to plan either. I knew that I wanted to have all different types of food. I knew I needed to have someone versatile in cooking techniques and was also able to do some sweets. In the past, I have done small catering orders through Marlo and it went beautifully. I called her to see if she could bail me out on such short notice (A week). Marlo saves the day again! She put my worries at ease by helping me create a menu to what I wanted for the event with all the specifications. I like to use her because she does Filipino, Spanish, American, and I bet she could do it all! To say the least, we were beyond impressed with the food was delicious and fresh. You can really tell she used quality ingredients. She arrived on time and promptly got to work on helping me set up the dishes to be serve-ready. I enjoy her creativeness and multifaceted skills in the culinary arts. It isnt just that her food and pastries are delicious; its that she puts her own twist into the mix to elevate otherwise ordinary food. We also ordered her desserts. I recommend you get the Mamon (Filipino Sponge Cake- She makes it individually wrapped) and Tiramisu! We also ordered decorated cake pops as giveaways (which were a hit!). The decadent flavor of the Mamon really shows her skill in baking as well. The pricing was below what I have paid for catering orders half of the size with others, which made expensing this order easy on my pocket. Her service was seamless from beginning to end. Marlo took a great deal of worry off my shoulders. She is professional and friendly. I enjoy her catering service and would recommend her to all my friends who have also had the same great service. I plan to continue to use her for any and all of my future catering needs. I couldn't be more grateful.
I cannot recommend Jennifer and Amour de Cuisine highly enough! My bridesmaids, Aunt and Mom hired Jennifer to cater my bridal shower. The shower had a tea party theme for which Jennifer created the most beautiful tea sandwiches and petite hor'derves. She also made dips and dessert options that my guests raved about. As much as every bite was pure bliss, the meticulous attention to the detail of presentation was a feast for the eyes! I still hear more about the food at my bridal shower more than I do about the food at my wedding! I have worked with other caterers and chefs, but in comparison Jennifer is an artist at her craft. Not only is she a professional and punctual chef, but her party planning skills are an added bonus. When I walked into the dining room where the food was set up for my shower, I felt like I had traveled to a vintage French tea party, and Jennifer set it all up to look that way. She truly set the mood for a perfect pre-wedding celebration. I can't wait to use her again for the next celebration that I host! Mary's cooking classes are both fun and educational. Mary has an easy going style, yet she keeps you on track with easy to follow recipes and a helping hand when you need it. I am such a fan that I've taken 7 different classes with Mary! I've learned how to make bread and the jam and butter to put on it, pasta, apple pie and cheese! It's most fun when you bring a friend or two and make it a group outing.
Nicole was such a great “find” on this app. She gave me a cooking lesson at my home and shared tons of wisdom and great ideas for bulk meal prep. I’m hoping to hire her again in the future. Thanks, Nicole!!
