Words cannot even begin to explain how happy we are with DJ Joe Stephen and Standing Ovation DJs. He provided the music, lightening, and special effects for both our cocktail hour and wedding reception on July 14th, 2018. He definitely lives up to all the positive reviews we found on him while doing our research. First, he was willing to meet with us at a day, time, and location that was the most convenient for us, he was both personal and professional from the very first time meeting him, and we felt very comfortable talking about music and ambiance ideas about our wedding with him. He was very familiar with our venue, the InterContinental, and his set up was perfect with lighting that beautifully matched our theme and colors. We didn’t go big on floral arrangements/decorations, and we’re very happy we didn’t, because we feel like Joe provided everything we needed with the lightening. His special effects wowed our guests and made our night very magical without going over the top. His music selection was spot on with what we wanted and described to him. He was also flexible with the last-minute changes we made leading up to the reception. He knows his music, definitely knows how to get a party going, and was attentive and took requests at a drop of a hat throughout the entire event. Our guests had nothing but positive feedback about Joe and felt very entertained all the way to the end of the evening. Finally, his prices were very reasonable, fit perfectly with our budget, and can be tailored to any budget depending on what specific services you’re looking for in your reception. Perfect is the word that keeps coming to mind each time I think about the night, and he was a huge part of making our night very special. I definitely recommend Joe and Standing Ovations; we’re so happy we found him!

Holly is a must hire for all of your decorating needs!! I threw a Murder Mystery Party at our local golf club, and she did an amazing job decorating this venue. Her attention to detail was outstanding, the guests commented on this as well! She communicated with me every step of the way and stayed on budget. Kari is amazing. I found her on Yelp when searching for a decorator to keep me from making expensive mistakes in executing a long desired condo remodel. I needed help with placement and purchase of furniture/wall art/fabrics/custom drapes. Kari has followed through with my purpose for hiring her and more. She will instantly and easily take a purchase/design idea in my luxury dreamy mind and suggest less expensive ways to achieve it. This is totally opposite of what we fear in hiring expensive interior decorators who end up leading you to spending more than you expected. Her very reasonable rates combined with her budget-conscious approach will result in a fabulous handsome home that is magazine worthy without breaking your hard-earned bank!! Also, she is impressively quick to respond and she follows through with everything. This being her second career after being an executive she is in touch with "the real world" and the budgets most of us have to live by.

My wedding took place on August 31, 2018 and it wasn’t until 4 to 5 weeks before my wedding that I decided I needed a day of coordinator. When I read the reviews for Blanchard Spevial Events, they really impressed me. From the first time I spoke with Heidi, she put me at ease. She really took the time to talk to me about what I envisioned for my wedding day and was just so willing to help in any way possible. I had no idea how important that would be until I realized that I hadn’t purchased the flowers and some of the decor that I needed for the wedding venue. This was two days before the wedding and without Heidi‘s help, things just would not have come together the way they did. She worked with the venue decorator to pull together the look that I wanted with items that she had access to. She also managed to keep me calm from the day of the walk-through right through the wedding. I greatly appreciate her patience, knowledge of how the wedding should flow, and outstanding ability to work with people. Choosing to work with her was one the best decisions I made and I am so grateful to Heidi for everything she did to help make my wedding a beautiful success.

Calling All Brides!! - Diana did an amazing job with the floral arrangements, alter design and bridal bouquet for our wedding. She was very responsive to our requests and did an excellent job making style ideas and color concepts come to life. Absolutely stunning work - she is very talented at what she does!! Caryn is perfect! My parents worked with an interior designer when I was growing up, and I remember she would always push really fancy expensive furniture on them, so I was hesitant to hire someone when we bought our new home. Caryn understands that we are DIY people, and works with that, and our budget, in mind. She doesn't overcharge, and we got SO much done in our one-hour consult with her. She picked out paint colors for the whole house and I LOVE them. I would have spend hours agonizing over it had I picked them out myself. Worth every penny! I can't wait to use her over the years to design our home!

Jackie is the BEST! Goes out of her way to make each and every event the most unique experience. Her decorating is beyond fabulous, stunning and beautiful.
