Latest Review: Cynthia is a wonderful piano teacher. I love that she provides music theory to the students as well as traditional note playing. I'm amazed at how far my children have come in the short time they have been taking lessons. While learning piano came very easy to my daughter, my son was struggling. Ms. Russakoff was in constant contact with offering suggestions on how to better get him to succeed all the while trying to boost his self esteem. I can't say enough about the quality and dedicated piano teacher!

About: Regarding live music for wedding/banquet type events, I provide first-rate cello and piano performance, with deep experience having solo performances in major US cities and Europe, and regularly performing in professional orchestral settings. As a teacher, I have studied with celebrated cellists, including Ko Iwasaki, Emilio Colon, Brandon Vamos, and Suren Bagratuni. On Piano, my teachers have included Tella-Marie Debose, Gellert Modos, and Michael Fritch. My style is a traditional intuitive approach that has yielded an outstanding studio, producing many music majors, several competition winners. But most importantly, we foster a happy and healthy approach to music as a model for long term well-being.

Latest Review: Sally has been a great piano teacher for our 9-year-old daughter. She has kept things interesting and encouraged her to keep taking lessons. We also appreciate the piano recitals Sally organizes. They are personable and a perfect size. Sally is also flexible with setting lesson times and works with us when there are scheduling conflicts.

Latest Review: I have been taking lessons from Dan for more than two and a half years and it something I look forward to every week. Aside from being a great teacher, he is fun, understanding and very talented. He takes the time to help you understand the structure of what you are learning without over burdening you with theory. He is also really interested in making sure you are enjoying playing (that is the point) and getting out of it exactly what you want. Any time I have a request (no matter how absurd) of a song to learn, Dan takes the time to find a good arrangement at my level and teaches it to me. It is really nice having that flexibility and personal investment in my lessons. In just two and a half years, I went from playing no to guitar to be comfortable jamming with my friends while also developing my classical guitar playing skills. His musical interests are vast; from beautiful classical pieces to classic rock solos to movie soundtracks (he loves Storybook Love from the Princess Bride). This blend of genres and talents truly sets Dan a part and I would encourage anyone looking to finally learn the guitar to sign up for lessons with Dan.

Latest Review: My daughter started piano lessons with Stacey just a month ago but she is so excited every week to go. We have been very happy with how Stacey has progressed her - continually adding more difficult pieces to work on to see what she can do. This is our first experience w music lessons of any type and we are really happy with Stacey De & Co! Even my son, who never wants to try anything new, has started asking about taking drum lessons there. We couldn't be happier :)
