Kayleigh went above and beyond for all my wedding needs. She really took the time to understand my wedding vision. And immediately started showing me examples of what she could do. The hardest part was choosing from her amazing designs. She created the most gorgeous invitations for my wedding (Wedding guest are still complimenting me on them). Kayleigh created one of a kind signs that were used at my wedding- making the wedding an even more memorial event. I will continue to go to Kayleigh for all of my invitation needs in the future.

This is what I love to do. I can honestly say that I love waking up everyday to design and create art. My favorite part is witnessing the satisfaction of clients and actually seeing my design work on the streets(clothing, advertisements, etc..)

I am big on digital illustration, but don’t let that fool you into thinking that is all I can do. I love Illustrator and vector designs, and I love creating crisp, clean buttons and UI designs.

I work very well with clients and am able to get just as excited about their company or logo as much as they are. I am able to produce a new face for companies who are wanting to advertise their name. I get an opportunity to have my work seen in the public.

I grew up in the Geneseo area and in 2010, I graduated at the top of my class with a degree in interior design from Scott Community College. I started Designs by Michelle in the fall of 2011. I have a passion for interior design and I love to share that. Your home is your haven from the world and how your environment functions and feels impacts your emotional well being. I love helping people improve their lives through good design. I don't believe good design is just for the wealthy. I think all budgets should be able to experience it. This is why I can work within your budget, doing as little or as much as you would like, to ensure that your home is everything it should be.

I am a freelancer. I am very creative, hardworking and work fast. My specialties are in Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects. I do some photography, and I am very skilled at drawing and painting with any media.

So why “green ladder” creative? growing up, all we heard about was climbing that corporate ladder that unforgiving, same old ladder cluttered with bureaucracy, political honky, tradition, old guys in suits, glass ceilings, and profit driven greed. We chose a different ladder, a green ladder. A ladder as green as we are. Our climb is one much more organic and contemporary, like a couple of snot-nosed children climbing up to our treehouse where ideas are fresh, fulfilling, and affordable. As the economy tumbled into the toilet, the green ladder creative team decided if you can’t join them, beat them! To keep it green, 5% of all of our profits will go to Global Green USA or a green non-profit of your choice. We will do just about anything from graphic design, writing copy, to photography.

We're a close team of creative designers, artists and illustrators who work together to create beautiful and engaging artwork. Howdy! Polywick Studio is an art studio composed of talented artists. Most of our collective professional experiences came from the video games industry. We are very much interested in pursuing other art fields like concept art for film, sculpting of toys, illustration for book covers, etc. Having worked in the outsourcing industry for more than 6 years, our collective experiences include working for clients like EA, Naughty Dog, Ubisoft, Warner Bros and Disney. On top of that, we have world-class artists whose works have already been published in annual art books and magazines such as Infected by Art, Advanced Photoshop, 2dartist, Expose, Exotique and ImagineFX. We are actively looking for opportunities to further refine our craft. Thus, this website is a combined effort to hunt down possibilities and satisfy our hunger for challenge and adventure. Our members are drawn from various aspects of production. We have concept artists, illustrators, 3D character artists and 3D environment/props artists. Hopefully, we will have animators in our roster as well. We do art using our accumulated work experiences and our desire to explore uncharted areas.

      Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What makes a good logo design?

A good logo is an easily identifiable, memorable image that represents your brand. A good logo design aligns with your business model and expresses your company’s core values. A good logo design is simple, appealing, and easy for customers and viewers to quickly process. Some of the key components of a great logo are type, color palette and design. The scale, font and arrangement of the text you select will all make a difference in the feel and representation of your brand. A graphic designer will help you home in on the colors that best represent your identity and help you keep the color palette simple. The design of your logo includes the shapes you select and the way the color and type are arranged together. Investing in the services of a professional to create your logo design is likely a smart investment for any size business. Nationally, the average price range for a logo designer ranges from $170 to $250.

How much does it cost to create a logo?

Logo design is an important part of your company’s brand development. More than an image with text and color, a logo communicates the tone and personality of your company to your potential customers. Hiring a graphic designer with an appealing portfolio and quality reviews is a solid start to creating a winning logo design. The cost to create a logo can depend on how in-depth the marketing and design services you request are. Designers can create one logo in multiple formats (horizontal, vertical, etc.) to fit both your website and social media platforms, they can create a variety of designs for clients to select from, or they can create multiple logos for one client who needs branding for more than one venture. Logos may be text-only, text and image, or image-only. Many designers and design firms charge by the hour for their services, while other companies offer packages bundled with design services. Here are some examples of cost:

      • National average cost to hire a logo designer: $170-$250.
      • Average hourly rate for a freelance marketing consultant: about $150.
      • Tiered pricing for logo design packages from one firm:
        • Package One: $200 for three logo concepts, three rounds of revision, and a variety of format and color end designs.
        • Package Two: $350 for 10 logo concepts, unlimited rounds of revision, and a variety of format and color end designs.
        • Package Three: $550 for everything included in the Package Two, plus business card design, letterhead design, social media graphics and an email signature.
        • Package Four: $850 for everything in the Package Three, plus custom brand guidelines, which outline a strategy for creating a consistent branding in the client’s business.
Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
