Weekly electric guitar lessons. Gareth was extremely professional, personable and patient. He has that whole cool, rock vibe going that was inspiring to my 10 year old son :-) He explained things very clearly and gave drills to practice but also incorporated those new chords into a current rock song for my son to practice - which made it so much more fun for him. Highly recommend Gareth!

She is kind and fun to work with. I look forward to my lessons as a time to learn to sing, and to just enjoy myself. She's good at balancing having a good time and having a professional lesson very well.

I am an adult learner who is trying to learn how to play the piano. Son Yong is an excellent instructor and she tailors each lesson to match my skill level and my interest in music. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for piano lessons.

I took voice and piano lessons from David for a period of about three years and always found him to be encouraging, reliable, and meticulous in his work, not to mention the fact that he is an absolute expert in his field as well as an outstanding performer. He meets you at your individual level and helps you select music that challenges you to grow as a musician even as it suits your ability at the time. He then pinpoints areas where you could improve, giving you helpful feedback and personal exercises tailored to addressing those areas where you could become better. He also gives you valuable coaching on all aspects of performance, including tips on your carriage, how to show emotion, and phrasing the music to name a few. I would enthusiastically recommend taking lessons from him whether you are interested in recreational lessons or becoming a professional performer. He will inspire you to reach beyond what you thought you'd be able to do and help you to reach your goals.

I am a guitar/voice student with Bart at Reno's and he's great! I call him "The Song Doctor" because he revives songs I bring in with technique and great ideas! He is an amazing guitarist and patient teacher, even when I struggle. He knows music theory well and can teach this knowledge in an understandable and interesting way. Lessons are fun and non intimidating. Reno's Music is cool and I always feel welcome.

Miriam has been teaching our 6yo piano lessons for about 6 months. Miriam is very patient when my daughter gets distracted. She keeps good record of when and how much we have paid. We have been very pleased so far and our daughter is progressing well. Oh, and she has been very flexible when emergencies or sickness has come up and we needed to reschedule a lesson. I made the leap to take my first guitar lessons without knowing anything about the instrument when I was 36 years old. With Sulaiman's expertise and patience, I learned to read music and play classical guitar as a soloist, as part of an ensemble, and as part of several musical productions that were composed by Sulaiman so that each musicians parts were written to their level of expertise. This has been so much more than just a guitar studio. Sulaiman and his family welcomed me into a musical environment where I was often pushed outside of my comfort zone, but always felt safe going there. Sulaiman's musical knowledge, technical prowess, and ability to understand people come together in a somewhat unconventional guitar studio where I learn to be a musician and learn about myself in the process.

Sabrina is teaching piano to my Kindergarten-aged twins. She is great with young kids and their parents. She's very flexible with her teaching, willing to adapt to the style that fits them best. The lessons have included a conga drum to learn keeping time, as well as opening up the piano to show how the inside works. The learning environment in her home is very relaxing, and helps to calm my very energetic boys. When my boys do get distracted, she can effectively rein them back in or use their curiosity as a teachable moment when appropriate.

About

The point of learning an instrument is to enable you to play the music you love. I will only teach you what you want to learn. I will not obligate you to learn a song you didn't choose just so that you can learn some obscure technique. You tell me what's been playing in your playlists and I will help you learn that song.

About

I'm a guitar teacher that actually plays live music and has performed in the studio, and knows how to write and cover music. At just 21 years of age, I may seem young to be a guitar teaching professional, but I spent my youth studying the instrument, and I also bring a lot of energy into teaching which is crucial for staying positive in the learning process!
