Angela is a great motivator and has helped me put more laughter in my life through her laughter yoga sessions. She is an awesome life coach and helped me get clarity in parts of my life. I would work with her again.
Supreme Peace yoga had been such a gift! I've dabbled in yoga for most of my life but since I discovered the studio it is now part of my daily life. The instructors are wonderful with many different styles. They've helped me to understand that yoga is so much more than the physical aspect. Later this year I'll be taking the reiki 111 class with Jodie, and am in the process of yoga teacher training with her. She is a marvelous instructor. Very articulate and knowledgeable. The best part about her is her beautiful kind spirit. Namaste!
Oleg teaches a good yoga flow, pays a special attention to yoga breath, which is great. For beginners he builds foundation for yoga practice; for more experienced students, he refreshes breathing techniques. I like a savasana meditation a lot and OM mantra, it sounds a very powerful.
Izzie is a very professional, very knowledgeable instructor. She gives over 100% every session. I have never felt pressured or judged and her absolute positivity radiates and makes you want to do better and more. I have done yoga, meditation, and zumba classes with her and have greatly enjoyed them all. I learn something new every class.
Kelli does a great job and got me up to speed really quickly.
I am offering group or private lessons. My classes can range from physically challenging to deeply relaxing. I can also discuss whether you would like me to provide you with a fluid, guided practice or a more detailed, posture breakdown class. I have studio access, I am willing to come to your home, or my favorite; outdoor in the park.
I stem from an athletic background where I spent years playing multiple sports, with an emphasis on Tennis; yet never fully appreciating the body as the artwork it truly is. It wasnât until I attended my first yoga class in 2004 that I became curiously active in self-discovery. The welcoming environment of the yogic community provoked new outlooks and perspectives on life that only yoga could provide; which immediately became a regular routine in her daily life. I soon discovered yogaâs endless potential to strengthen, transform and deepen one's overall health and well-being and have been practicing a combination of vinyasa, hatha, and ashtanga yoga ever since. During the certification program with Laura Spaulding at Yoga East, I have had the pleasure of attending workshops with renowned and innovative teachersâ such as Francois Raoult and David Garrigues and look forward to attending many more. I am very thankful for the amazing instructors I've met and continue to learn from. I look forward to sharing the knowledge and wisdom I've learned and to encourage others to explore themselves, and yoga, on a deeper level by expressing yoga in its true essence. My classes are consciously sequenced to provide an equal combination of physical and spiritual experience and enlightenment to ensure students get the full affect of what yoga has to offer. I enjoy incorporating music and spiritual readings in my classes while providing a unique and playful teaching style that is appropriate for all levels of students. I find it important that students know how to apply their practice not only on their yoga mat, but also how to incorporate and embrace it in their lives off the mat.
I am a registered Yoga Alliance 500-hour yoga instructor. I am trained to teach all levels of yoga in a group or private setting. I have studied with several well-known and respected teachers including Kino MacGregor, David Guarrigues, Ramanand Patel, Francois Raoult, and Laura Spaulding and I also spent 5 weeks studying at the Sri K Pattabhis Jois Ashtanga Yoga in Mysore, India. I have been teaching hatha yoga and ashtanga yoga at Yoga East since 2009. I have taught children at the Montessori School of Louisville, and this is my 5th year teaching Waterfront Yoga at Brown-Foreman Amphitheater in Waterfront Park. I am interested in working with any age and level practitioner to help build a strong body, healthy mind, and bright spirit.

I was introduced to yoga as a restorative complement to track and cross-country running, both during and after college. I aspire to help people with their own discovery of the strengths and softness that yoga has to offer both on and off the mat through teaching yoga classes. I currently hold a 200-hour yoga alliance certification, in addition to over 50 hours of workshops with various international instructors.

Benefits for All: Better concentration, ease nervous tension, self esteem, self control, improved circulation, endurance, strength, flexibility, better sleep, and delightful feeling.
We have a good time in kids' yoga. As I tell a story, we act out the different parts and sometimes make animal sounds. However, it's also about finding ways to calm ourselves and get peaceful. I also give foot massages when requested during relaxation. Gentle yoga is for people who thought they would never be able to do yoga. Our movements are done slowly, and people are encouraged to only do modified poses when necessary. We do a wonderful progressive relaxation with our eyes closed, and then I verbally paint a picture of a serene setting. Some have fond memories of this experience. As a reading specialist, my first goal is to help people of all ages who thought they would never be able to read. I will structure activities geared to their unique problems. The next goal is to give them a sense of accomplishment and help them to eventually read for enjoyment.
