He is patient and flexible and takes his time with you while also explaining how best to maximize your workouts for the greatest success. True professional and very skilled trainer. I first started working out with Cornelius about one year ago, after my girlfriend encouraged me to give personal training a try. I used to be one of those guys who thought personal trainers weren't necessary for a good workout, so I was hesitant at first – but I followed my girlfriend's advice and signed up for a few sessions with Cornelius. After our first workout, I knew I'd be coming back for more. When I first started training I was WEAK, even though I had been jogging regularly. I had rarely stretched or worked on building strength. I also wasn't eating well. Cornelius immediately recognized these holes in my training regimen and started developing workout and diet plans to help me build strength at a healthy pace. Due to my lack of stretching, many of my muscles and joints were incredibly tight – but Cornelius' taught me exercises and stretches that would help me build strength and loosen that tightness without causing injury. Thanks to Cornelius, I feel stronger and look healthier. The girlfriend who got me started with training has even pointed out improvements to my energy levels and confidence. The fitness plans Cornelius has built around my personal needs have been perfect. Throughout our workouts, he has been very relaxed and great to talk to – but he also knows when to push me to workout harder. Chris is awesome. He has gone out of his way to accommodate my ridiculous schedule as a single parent. He personalizes each workout, as well as a nutrition plan, and follows up to make sure it's something you are able to stick with. I have never worked with a personal trainer before, and I'm probably not the easiest client, but Chris is approachable and friendly and he actually listens. Signing up for a personal trainer was daunting to me, because I thought someone was going to bark orders at me, but Chris is the exact opposite. I appreciate his calm demeanor, and he is able to push me further in my workouts without treating me like an Army recruit. That might work for some people, but it definitely would've prevented me from coming back. I planned on learning just a few techniques to apply at home, and only intended on working with Chris for a week, but his level of motivation has made me change my mind, and I'm working with him once a week now to stay on task with my goals. Highly recommend him, and if the other trainers at Jones4Fitness are anything like him, don't hesitate to give them a chance.

I've been training with Nate several times a week for over 5 years, and I couldn't be more pleased with my progress, fitness level (strength, duration, flexibility), and the ongoing challenge and diversity of workouts -- they're never boring and incorporate strength, stability and core, time under tension, and functional training for every part of my body. In addition, Nate's a nice guy with a great sense of humor, so the workouts are tough but enjoyable. After his initial assessment, he continued to take the time to get know me individually and has a vested interest in my health, well being, strengths, and weaknesses (he enjoys identifying and having me work on my weaknesses!). Nate works hard with each of his clients and he customizes each workout for their individual needs and goals. In the 5+ years I've trained with him, Nate has never been late or missed a workout -- even in snowstorms! When I need to change a training appointment, Nate works very hard to find a time that is mutually beneficial. Finding the right personal trainer that had the proper knowledge, experience, equipment, interpersonal skills, and motivation to align with mine was tough; and I couldn't be happier to have found Nate. My investment in training with him has been more than worth it: I'm in great physical shape, my doctor asks if I've found the fountain of youth, and I've made a good friend in the process.

I recommend Jenise 100%. She is a pro and you feel like your money is well spent because she is serious about her job and has the exercise routine all figure out before the session starts. she does not improvise and I can tell she has good experience which, for me, means I can trust her judgment on exercise choices. I appreciate that she is always on time and will tell (and show you) when you are making some mistakes with the exercise (some trainers don´t do this! so for me this a huge plus). I take 2 classes a week because of schedule possibilities but I think that, if you can afford it, 3 is the ideal number.

I started training with Svet a couple of months ago and love it! He is pushes me just enough to get me to keep going without overdoing it. I usually give up pretty quickly and I was surprised with my progress. I was not only looking to get my self back into shape, but I also wanted to change my eating habits. I always struggled with random cravings and always gave in. He was able to help me with adjusting my diet and nutrition, providing information on different supplements and meal plans to keep me on track. Always a bonus!! Another thing I really liked was that we could either train at the gym at the community center or at my townhouse. They will really go where you want to go. Svet and his trainers know what they are doing and know a lot of great exercises, and you can tell that they love what they do! All in all I'm definitely giving a 5 out 5 and would highly recommend this team.

Personal training was a big step out of my comfort zone as I had never followed a set routine before, Michael alleviated all of my worries and started me from the ground up! I was a little apprehensive when it came to the idea of a trainer; however, knew that I could not push myself to get the results I wanted without an additional level of accountability. I looked at several different trainers and they seemed ok, but all presented a bit generic and cliché. Then I came across Tim...he seemed professional, patient, real and kind-all qualities I was looking for. We set up a meeting at his gym (ultimately we decided to train at the gym in my apartment building) and he was very accommodating as it relates to scheduling. I think for me, in order to reach my physical goals I need to reach a certain level of trust-after all, this person Is going to be seeing you is some of your less flattering moments, helping you work through some of your toughest mental and physical barriers and genuinely wants nothing more than for you to be successful. Tim has been wonderful! He knows when to push me and knows when lend additional support. He really identified what type of encouragement I respond well to and is always there to tell me I am strong and capable. Tim is well educated in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and nutrition and I appreciate that he takes the time to explain the science behind exercise. Overall, I couldn't be more happy with my experience with Tim:-) I recommend him to anyone who is looking to work hard, see results and be a better version of themselves!

Agnese is a very knowledgable, thoughtful and professional trainer. She met with me right away to start training immediately! I've enjoyed our workouts so much that many times don't even know we have worked out until my muscle soreness the next day. I feel as if she keeps close tabs on my progress and provides me with helpful tips during and outside of our training days! Gail is amazing and goes above and beyond to accomodate you. She is young, energetic, and down to earth. For me it was like working out with a friend! The reason I chose Gail vs. the other trainers who sent me bids was because she was the only person that seemed to truly care about MY personal fitness needs. She sent me a personalized message. Xavier is an amazing trainer! We have been working together for a bit over a month and as crazy as this sounds I can see and feel the changes in my body. Every session is different and keeps me on my toes. He never lets me give up and helps to motivate me. He logs all of my excercises and emails them directly after our session. I can't begin to describe how great Rachaad Is. You will see results and you won't be disappointed.  But the awesome part is - he keeps you motivated.  He believes in you when you don't think you can and he let's you know it.  He just doesn't give up on you.  And his optimistic attitude helps keep you focused on the goal.   After three months, I have upper body strength for the first time in my life (I have never been able to do push-ups before now). He listens to you when you tell him something doesn't feel right, hurts, or is straining; and he changes the game plan while still achieving the end goal.  Incredible trainer.

I can’t say enough good things about Julian! We definitely hit the jackpot with him and in a very short time, he’s become a great trainer, mentor and role model for my 15 year old son who has wanted to increase his strength/stamina while working on his soccer skills. Julian very quickly responded to my search for a personal trainer and was incredibly professional during our introductory call. It was evident that his knowledge of /experience with soccer as a player and coach would be a good match for my son. He also shared his philosophy about strength training with kids, specifically how he seeks to understand what motivates and is important to them, so he could then weave in his expertise which ultimately would result in a truly customized program to help accomplish their goals. He was eager to “meet” my son and scheduled some time to speak with him personally over the phone and get to know him. I was impressed at how he was able to get from a 15-year old boy, what his fitness goals were! In less than a week of my initial inquiry, my son was training in the gym with Julian and has absolutely loved every session with him. Julian maximizes every second during each workout and even encourages kids to come in early to get warmed up (so really, while you pay for a 60-minute session, you get 70-75 minutes!) My son has already noticed physical changes, but beyond that, his sense of confidence, focus, and dedication has increased tremendously. Julian provides encouragement inside and outside the gym by keeping tabs on my son and checking in on how he’s doing. Even when my son tried out for another soccer team, Julian gave him sound advice throughout the process, acted as a sounding board, and alleviated any anxiety he had. The investment you make in Julian goes far beyond strength training; you also get someone who takes a genuine interest in your well-being and wants you to be successful. He empowers you with exercises which don’t require you to be in a gym (my son did his own workouts during the winter break) and with general “life skills/lessons”. Three sessions in, Shawn has shown great professionalism and knowledge of the personal training industry. Paired with his Gladiator Strong suggested nutrition, I already feel a difference in my energy and have lost 5 lbs.! He motivates, tolerates my constant complaining, is accommodating in terms of location, and of 3 other personal trainers I've had in my lifetime, I finally did proper push-ups with the correct form. He smartly combines cardio with strength and working multiple muscle groups with different exercises and has had a different routine every session. I'll be ready for Key West in two weeks time and keep it going up to my wedding in December. If he'll have me, I'll be using him again after these sessions. Will post before and after pictures.

I joined after having my second child and after a few months Joe was able to get me back to my pre baby weight through healthy diet and effective exercises. I learned a great deal about proper form and technique. Tyson Training once again helped me achieve my goals after having my third child. This is the best shape I have probably been in. Tyson Training is all about wellness... both physical and mental. Their approach is unique and sophisticated. They challenge your mental limits by encouraging you to push your physical limits. Working with Trina is always fun. She is very professional, patient and engaging. There is never a dull moment especially in the group sessions.
