I am extremely happy with my personal training program with Svetness and the professionalism of my trainer, Lauren. Lauren is reliable, always on time; and most importantly, the training sessions are challenging and never boring. I never had a personal trainer before and was really hesitant about making the call, but I'm so glad I did. I would highly recommend Lauren because she is very knowledgeable; her training varies from a nice mix of core, upper body, lower body and high intensity exercises. I never thought I would look forward to an early morning, hour-long workout, but I can stay motivated around Lauren because she is so friendly and I feel comfortable around her, which allows me to push myself through each exercise. I discovered Jenise through thumbtack and by reading reviews about her. I had been seeking for a personal trainer. After my initial consultation, I knew that she was the trainer for me. To give an overview of my fitness level: I am 26. I am a non-athlete. Actually, I’m pretty uncoordinated and clumsy and have never regularly exercised before. I love yoga but I also never got into doing it regularly enough. Its rare to get the motivation for me to get up and go to the gym which is why I chose to seek a personal trainer that can come to me and give me an individualized service. When I contacted Jenise, she offered for a consultation and to see my goals and ultimately see if my schedule will fit in with hers. I should have worn appropriate clothing at that time to do a fitness assessment… nevertheless, after booking she came to me for the assessment, measurements, and weigh-in. We completed 12 sessions in a 1 month period. Just like learning a new skill or a language or an insurance for a healthier life in the future— every penny is worth it. If I could afford it, I would for sure continue working out with Jenise 3 times a week all my life!! But this has been a really great stepping stone to a STRONGER me. The workouts as other reviews mention are different each time although during every session you focus on different parts of the body. Usually you do one session focusing on lower body, one on upper body and one focusing on the core. She makes sure that your workout is high-intensity and always adds new moves or gadgets to the workouts to make it fun. Boxing, resistance training outside in the neighborhood, when the weather is nice, were some of the highlights for me. Even though, I liked the convenience of her coming to me.. I also liked going to her location at the end of the week to top off my workout and get the MOST out of my weekly workouts. Her gym has all the equipment needed to kick butt. She really understands the anatomy and where your weaknesses lie as a unique individual. She builds your workouts according to these and changes the number of repetitions or the amount of weight as necessary during the workout. She watches you closely on your form and ensures you get the most out of every exercise. I personally never liked working out because I never knew how to. I knew I had terrible form and didn’t know how to fix it. Jenise became a teacher to me and showed me how to properly lift. She also always reminded me to breathe when I exerted energy (I tend to hold my breath when I lift .. its no bueno!) Now I see that I have made progress and I have learned proper form, I am keen to continue with it. My 12 sessions came to an end last week. I would 100% renew more sessions with Jenise if it weren’t for my mother looking to join a gym with me. Right now, my finances and time aren’t allowing me to afford both, but I know for certain Jenise and I will be training again in the future. I can tell she has made a STRONGER me and I don’t want to lose any of what I have worked for this past month! If you are hesitant, I get that. Truly. But give it a shot. Jenise is wonderful. Trust her, she knows exactly what you need. I'm so glad I trusted her on this journey. I highly recommend CW3 to everyone!
I have been working out with Agnese multiple times a week for a couple of months now. She definitely pushes me farther than I would go on my own, but always checks to ensure it is just at the edge of my capabilities and not so intense that injury might result. She keeps it fun too.
Robert is the most professional person I've ever met. He has a plan and executes it perfectly. I am a busy physician in the DC area and put on weight after years of schooling and long hospital hours. Recent fatherhood did not help either :) Robert educated me on diet and effective exercise and put his plan in place. I started at 216. Within 4 weeks, I was at 200. Now I'm at 193. I have a goal of 175 and he guaranteed that I would meet it on day one. Had my doubts about this but now I look forward to meeting this goal. His workouts are INTENSE and no joke, but they're fun. Great guy to workout with but NOT easy at all. Having said that, you WILL lose weight.
Kevin does a great job with our group training. He's comfortable with training a group of various abilities. He puts a lot of thought into the workout is very good at providing alternatives for each exercise. Pushes us without being pushy!

WORKOUTS Emmanuel's work outs can be hard, but never grueling. Although If you are wanting to look like an athlete, he will definitely train you like one! Emmanuel doesn't yell at you and tries to throw more weight on you or pushes you to muscular failure. First he assesses the structural integrity of your body and muscular system and see how you move and handle weight. After a workout assessment, he will make suggestions on how to compensate or improve your overall balance. True and complete strengthening can really only take place once the body is working together in a balanced harmonizing way. A person cannot call themselves fit, if they only have one developed part of the body. The entire body has to be conditioned and developed; Total fitness. Once your form is in place, then he increases your function, progressively adding additional weight, reps and intensity/ variations.
When I first met Dimitri over a year ago, I had a long way to go on my fitness journey and was a little bit intimidated about starting a training program. During our first training session I nearly passed out because I was out of shape, and I wasn’t fueling my body the way I needed. Right away Dimitri made me feel reassured that I could, and would, get stronger and better if I put in the work. He took the time to help me set my goals, discuss my likes/dislikes, and from there, created a custom plan for me to reach my goals. The program he designed relies on high-intensity intervals, coupled with strength training and kickboxing. I had never tried kickboxing before, but now it has become my favorite part of our sessions! A few months into our training I injured my ankle and thought I would need to put training on pause. Because of Dimitri’s expert knowledge of kinesiology and his extreme attention to avoiding further injury, I was able to continue on a modified program and make steady progress towards my goals. Not only is Dimitri incredibly knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition, but also he is encouraging and supportive during every step of the way. He pushes me harder than I ever knew I could push myself, and thanks to him, I have been successful in my fitness journey and boosting my confidence. With his help, I’ve lost over 25 lbs, gained lean muscle and drastically improved my strength and flexibility!
Casey is the perfect balance of intensity and kindness. He pushes you hard, but that's why you hired him, right??? He does it in a motivating way that gets you to levels you would NEVER get to on your own. I highly recommend him.
I train with Shawn twice weekly in my apartment gym. Shawn has been very accommodating--both in terms of meeting quite early to fit my schedule, and working around my physical limitations. Shawn also does a great job matching the intensity of our sessions to my abilities, planning workouts that push me without being too difficult to complete. After 8 sessions, I feel stronger, healthier, and happier--I can't wait to see what Shawn does with more time!
Denise is an excellent trainer! I have been training with Denise for a little over two months and she has been instrumental in keeping me motivated on my journey to meet my fitness and overall health goals. Her workouts are challenging but also versatile. To date, I have done yoga, Pilates, belly dancing, high impact cardio, interval training, strength training to name a few. You are there to work and get the results you want. Denise also caters your workout to meet your individual needs, e.g. injuries, etc. She also offers great customer service and creates a relaxed environment. Steve is very motivating and builds a routine based on your goals. He increases/decreases the intensity based on the day and always pushes you to do more! He also checks on your intake and helps you reach your goals. I am extremely satisfied and will work with him again!
I have trained with Tim on and off for the past 5 years. He has helped me to reach the various goals I set for myself over the years . . . from increasing fitness level, losing weight, shaping my body and overcoming and preventing injury. He has always been professional, supportive and very motivating. I met Tim shortly after having my son and my goal was to return to pre-baby shape and fitness level. Tim helped me to meet the pre-baby shape goal and exceeded the fitness level goal I had set. The workouts were always challenging and motivating. Tim and I usually met twice a week for 30 minutes of high intensity interval training (I would warm up and cool down on my own). At this point my cardio endurance was low and he really helped me to increase it. After meeting my goal I was able to maintain our progress on my own at the gym using the knowledge I gained from my sessions with Tim. Two years later, I realized I was slipping on my own (I love to eat and drink red wine!) and contacted Tim to regain the shape and fitness level we had previously established. Tim assessed my fitness level and created workouts that met my needs. Tim is great at identifying areas of weakness and tailoring exercises to strengthen those areas. Our workouts were typically 30 minutes, twice a week. This time, Tim began incorporating a lot more weight training. After several months of working with Tim, I once again exceeded my goals and I was stronger and more fit than I had ever been. I was able to go back to working out on my own, using the workouts and information I had gained from him, and maintain my fitness level. I frequently have people commenting about the exercises I am doing in the gym . . . they are impressed and want to use them! When I returned to Body Pump, the instructor also commented on how my strength had increased! Just last year I contacted Tim again. After several injuries (not from working out) and ongoing treatment and physical therapy, I was very frustrated with my body. Tim listened, in detail, as I explained my injuries and the problems/pain I was having trying to workout on my own and participate in classes at the gym. Based on what he heard and saw me doing he created workouts that helped to correct improper techniques I was using (due to injury) and strengthen muscles to help prevent further injury. After working with a physical therapist 3 times a week for many months, I did not see any improvement. After working with Tim 2-3 times a week for just a few weeks, I saw huge improvement! Currently, Tim has once again helped me to reach my highest fitness level yet.

Experience was awesome! My wife suggested looking on thumbtack for a trainer and Deon was the first to respond. Turns out he lives just 6 minutes from me.
