When I started training with Sean I was a 39 year old mother of two. I've struggled with my weight my whole life. I didn't exercise; didn't really know how to, and I certainly didn't watch what I ate. That's not the role model I wanted to be for my kids. I didn't want to be the mom who sat on the sidelines and watched her kids lives go by. I found Sean through a co-worker. Didn't know anything about hiring a personal trainer, but I lucked out and gave him a chance. It wasn't easy but I stuck with it and didn't quit. I trained with Sean for about a year. During that time I lost 40lbs and my strength and fitness level increased phenomenally! He not only taught me how to exercise, he also taught me about nutrition. Even though I don't train with him anymore, we keep in touch and I still ask Sean advice on all things fitness related.
I've been working with Jaime for almost a year. I didn't need to lose weight, but pretty much just needed to get in shape, get stronger and aim for that "toned" look that so many women are looking for. I've put on a couple pounds (again, I was too skinny, thats what I was looking for) of muscle. What is great about Jaime is that he listens to what you're looking for. So many trainers don't and assume everyone wants to lose weight. I keep asking to go heavier and heavier with the weights. He reigns me in so I don't hurt myself, but I'm now squatting 70 lbs, rowing 35 lbs, 35 lbs on each arm on chest presses (1 set only), and can do 20 pushups without cheating/assistance. For a little weakling, that a year ago I struggled with using 10 pound weights...I'm quite proud of what I can do now! My fiance has noticed my new "toned" look and comments on it all the time! :) Ladies, you want that toned look? Lift as heavy as you can. I am definitely not big, just getting tighter, stronger looking arms and legs. When you sign up with Jaime he gives you a heart rate monitor that you wear every time you workout. It helps to see how many calories you burned, average heart rate, and the time spent on the workout. He also gives you access to a personal online FitLog which you fill in with the info from your heart rate monitor and tracks your weekly progress. You can see where you met your weekly goals..and the weeks where you didn't. Oops. :) Jaime is helpful in that I was topping out on what I could do without a weight bench and he helped in finding me a good weight bench. He also went to Dick's for me and got me the 35 lb weights so I didn't have to cart them out of the store myself. And no, he's not a weirdo trainer trying to pick up on women. That was my biggest fear in using a personal trainer. He's just a nice guy trying to help his clients! He'll do it for his male clients too! I've had a good experience with Jaime. What I like best is that he listens to what you want and will customize your workouts to what you are asking for so you can work on your personal goals!
Elin designed a creative program to help my 9 year old son prepare for his martial arts tournaments. My son definitely made improvements in his strength, agility and stamina. Elin was also able to fine tune his kicking and blocking skills since he has experience in various self defense/fighting skills. Elin is quick to respond to emails/text/calls and has tremendous knowledge in the art of exercise, bodybuilding and nutrition. I highly recommend Elin and his team for anyone looking for a professional personal trainer.
I first started working out with Cornelius about one year ago, after my girlfriend encouraged me to give personal training a try. I used to be one of those guys who thought personal trainers weren't necessary for a good workout, so I was hesitant at first but I followed my girlfriend's advice and signed up for a few sessions with Cornelius. After our first workout, I knew I'd be coming back for more. When I first started training I was WEAK, even though I had been jogging regularly. I had rarely stretched or worked on building strength. I also wasn't eating well. Cornelius immediately recognized these holes in my training regimen and started developing workout and diet plans to help me build strength at a healthy pace. Due to my lack of stretching, many of my muscles and joints were incredibly tight but Cornelius' taught me exercises and stretches that would help me build strength and loosen that tightness without causing injury. Thanks to Cornelius, I feel stronger and look healthier. The girlfriend who got me started with training has even pointed out improvements to my energy levels and confidence. The fitness plans Cornelius has built around my personal needs have been perfect. Throughout our workouts, he has been very relaxed and great to talk to but he also knows when to push me to workout harder. I look forward to each of our sessions, and I strongly recommend him to others.
I discovered Jenise through thumbtack and by reading reviews about her. I had been seeking for a personal trainer. After my initial consultation, I knew that she was the trainer for me. To give an overview of my fitness level: I am 26. I am a non-athlete. Actually, I’m pretty uncoordinated and clumsy and have never regularly exercised before. I love yoga but I also never got into doing it regularly enough. Its rare to get the motivation for me to get up and go to the gym which is why I chose to seek a personal trainer that can come to me and give me an individualized service. When I contacted Jenise, she offered for a consultation and to see my goals and ultimately see if my schedule will fit in with hers. I should have worn appropriate clothing at that time to do a fitness assessment… nevertheless, after booking she came to me for the assessment, measurements, and weigh-in. We completed 12 sessions in a 1 month period. Just like learning a new skill or a language or an insurance for a healthier life in the future— every penny is worth it. If I could afford it, I would for sure continue working out with Jenise 3 times a week all my life!! But this has been a really great stepping stone to a STRONGER me. The workouts as other reviews mention are different each time although during every session you focus on different parts of the body. Usually you do one session focusing on lower body, one on upper body and one focusing on the core. She makes sure that your workout is high-intensity and always adds new moves or gadgets to the workouts to make it fun. Boxing, resistance training outside in the neighborhood, when the weather is nice, were some of the highlights for me. Even though, I liked the convenience of her coming to me.. I also liked going to her location at the end of the week to top off my workout and get the MOST out of my weekly workouts. Her gym has all the equipment needed to kick butt. She really understands the anatomy and where your weaknesses lie as a unique individual. She builds your workouts according to these and changes the number of repetitions or the amount of weight as necessary during the workout. She watches you closely on your form and ensures you get the most out of every exercise. I personally never liked working out because I never knew how to. I knew I had terrible form and didn’t know how to fix it. Jenise became a teacher to me and showed me how to properly lift. She also always reminded me to breathe when I exerted energy (I tend to hold my breath when I lift .. its no bueno!) Now I see that I have made progress and I have learned proper form, I am keen to continue with it. My 12 sessions came to an end last week. I would 100% renew more sessions with Jenise if it weren’t for my mother looking to join a gym with me. Right now, my finances and time aren’t allowing me to afford both, but I know for certain Jenise and I will be training again in the future. I can tell she has made a STRONGER me and I don’t want to lose any of what I have worked for this past month! If you are hesitant, I get that. Truly. But give it a shot. Jenise is wonderful. Trust her, she knows exactly what you need. I'm so glad I trusted her on this journey. I highly recommend CW3 to everyone!
svet is legit! at first I wasnt too sure if I wanted to do personal training because I'm a student and therefore have little money to splurge. I saw other personal trainers and saw they charged outrageous amounts for their services. however, svet is very flexible with his payment. this made it possible for me to focus on myself instead of the money. as for the training, this guy will kick your ass, but the results are worth it. it has been about a month for me and I have lost 10 pounds of what I'm sure was fat. also I feel much stronger and my existing back and shoulder problems are starting to alleviate themselves. if you are serious about training than the svetness personal training program is for you. the svetnesss program will not only help change how you look, but it will positively change how you live your lifestyle.

If Dimitar weren't such an awesome physical trainer, I have no doubt he'd be a motivational speaker or life coach. Working out with Dimitar is never dull, because he's constantly switching up your routine, and exposing you to new things. I see a bunch of trainers working with other people, and I can honestly say none of them are as great and encouraging as Dimitar. While those other guys are just counting off reps, Dimitar is putting in work WITH you. He'll run alongside you, get down and join you for burpees (while talking, no problem), and somehow keep you going till the end of your session. Whether or not you have the strength to walk home afterwards, is on you.

Convenience...Expertise...Results: I was looking for a personal trainer to get back into shape. I work in an Emergency Department with a schedule that has me going from a 7a shift to an 11p shift to a 3p shift all in the same week! Despite this crazy schedule, Arris has ALWAYS been able to schedule a time that was convenient for me! He was interested in learning about my health issues and my goals. As a matter of fact, once I got started, he helped me to loose 1-2 pounds each week! He designed a program specifically tailored to help me to get on the road to achieve my goals. He made modifications to my exercise regimen so that I was able to workout efficiently without concern that I would sustain further damage to my dodgy knee or exacerbate my plantar fasciitis. During one of my sessions, I mentioned to him that I was recently started on insulin. He listened to my concerns and, at our next session, it was quite clear that he had researched DM, as well as strategies to help me cope with fluctuations in my blood sugars that could occur with exercise. He has even offered to go grocery shopping with me to find foods that would help control my blood sugars, as well as give me energy. On the occasion when my schedule would not permit me to complete a session, Arris e-mailed me with a regimen that could be done at home. Mr. LaMont is a very knowledgeable & dedicated fitness trainer. He has gone above & beyond to put me in a position to succeed with my weight loss goals. He's a great motivator, as he does it in suttle ways to make yuu think about what you are or are not doing. He has some slogans that just make you shake your head in amazement & after you think about it, it makes perfect sense to you. He listens to my concerns & pushes me when I need a push. Kylene is incredibly professional & personable. She is great with communicating to the client and flexible with scheduling, which is key for my work/life balance. She is punctual, knowledgeable and does a great job of tailoring my workouts to the areas I want to improve most. Not only is she a great trainer, but does a great job balancing the act of pushing the client and realizing when the client (me) needs a break. Last, she gives great advice and work out tips (but not in a know-it-all way) for my off days. I would highly encourage anyone to utilize Jones 4Fitness and hire Kylene as their personal trainer.
I can’t say enough good things about Julian! We definitely hit the jackpot with him and in a very short time, he’s become a great trainer, mentor and role model for my 15 year old son who has wanted to increase his strength/stamina while working on his soccer skills. Julian very quickly responded to my search for a personal trainer and was incredibly professional during our introductory call. It was evident that his knowledge of /experience with soccer as a player and coach would be a good match for my son. He also shared his philosophy about strength training with kids, specifically how he seeks to understand what motivates and is important to them, so he could then weave in his expertise which ultimately would result in a truly customized program to help accomplish their goals. He was eager to “meet” my son and scheduled some time to speak with him personally over the phone and get to know him. I was impressed at how he was able to get from a 15-year old boy, what his fitness goals were! In less than a week of my initial inquiry, my son was training in the gym with Julian and has absolutely loved every session with him. Julian maximizes every second during each workout and even encourages kids to come in early to get warmed up (so really, while you pay for a 60-minute session, you get 70-75 minutes!) My son has already noticed physical changes, but beyond that, his sense of confidence, focus, and dedication has increased tremendously. Julian provides encouragement inside and outside the gym by keeping tabs on my son and checking in on how he’s doing. Even when my son tried out for another soccer team, Julian gave him sound advice throughout the process, acted as a sounding board, and alleviated any anxiety he had. The investment you make in Julian goes far beyond strength training; you also get someone who takes a genuine interest in your well-being and wants you to be successful. At the start of my training I was very unfamiliar with proper use of equipment and had spent little time in the gym! Personal training was a big step out of my comfort zone as I had never followed a set routine before, Michael alleviated all of my worries and started me from the ground up! He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to excercises that beginners can preform, and has developed a program with visible progression and results. Would highly recommend him for his attention to detail and knowledge of nutrition and excercise as well as a fun workout!

Sam Turay is a great personal trainer; he is highly attentive to helping his clients reach their personal goals through educating clients on the proper techniques of exercise and eating healthy. My first session he asked me about my eating habits, exercising style, he then in turn taught me about using proper form, worked with me while doing the exercises and instructioned how I could maximize my workout experiences even on days I wasn't working with him. He's down to earth, honest, and conducts business with integrity which is definately a plus for me. Any chance I get, I tell anyone I know who wants to reach their weight loss goals about him. If you're looking for someone who will be encourage you and support you...he's the man!
I have been training with Robert Armstrong (Fitness Stop LLC), Personal Training, 4 times a week since November 18, 2015. I researched numerous fitness programs and met various personal trainers in my local area before choosing Fitness Stop LLC. I found an immediate connection with Robert and his training program as I felt he truly cares in working with his clients to reach their fitness goals regardless if its 10 or 60 pounds. His personal experience in weight loss and dedicated training drives his clients to achieving their fitness goals as he has. My goal is to lose 25-30 pounds within 6 months from the start of my training. Robert provided me with a meal plan that I have been disciplined in following. He prepared me to understand the challenges I will experience when changing to a healthier lifestyle with consistent exercise and diet. Robert has the patience yet pushes his clients to the level he knows they can achieve and they do. He works well with clients with injuries as well. In the first 3 weeks I trained with Robert, I lost 10 pounds. I definitely met my goal in losing the most difficult 10 pounds in less than the time I expected and because of it, I am more motivated and determined and will continue training with Robert. Losing pounds and maintaining the weight loss was always the most difficult for me but because Robert's training varies and not boring, I look forward to each training session and always feel accomplished after. The only regret I have is that I wish I had started sooner with Robert Armstrong and Fitness Stop LLC but like anything in life, better late than never.
First and foremost I like that Chad truly listens to what my husband and I say. For example, if we mention wanting to work on something or that some body part is having an issue, the next workout he brings in ideas based on research and reading he has done regarding what we mentioned. We learn so much about fitness from Chad and are workouts are tailored to what we have requested and are just the right level of difficulty for us.
I've struggled with my weight for years and have hired several personal trainers in order to lose my excess weight. Out of all the trainers that I've worked with, Julia is (by far) the one whose helped me out the most. I originally hired Julia in order for her to teach me how to properly use kettlebells. I used to refer to her as my kettlebell trainer. Julia went from being my kettlebell trainer to being "my trainer." By that, I mean that of the people I worked with at the time, she was my main go-to person because she's the one I actually trusted 100%. A lot of times, most personal trainers tell you what you want to hear and what I quickly realized about Julia is that she tells you the truth even when it's not what you want to hear. Julia doesn't sugar coat, instead she tells you what you need to do in order for you to get the results you're after. Julia taught me so many different exercises using kettlebells, my own body weight, animal flow and functional training. I used to weigh over 200 pounds and so far I've lost 40 pounds. I'm 23 pounds away from my goal weight. And my body fat percentage has decreased by 12% within a matter of a few short months. I started out at a very tight size 16 and now I'm a solid size 8 (and in some brands I fit into a size 6). Julia also taught me so much when it comes to food and nutrition. I used to have to take a picture of everything I ate and I used to have to text it to her at the time that I was going to eat my meal. I noticed that this helped me make more mindful choices when it comes to food. She also gave me better food suggestions every time she noticed that what I was eating wasn't a healthy choice. The selfish part of me wishes that Julia wouldn't have moved to Washington D.C. because as it is I'm still 23 pounds away from reaching my goal weight but on the bright side, ever since Julia left I haven't hired a different trainer and I've been successfully training myself 5 days each week. I've also continued to lose weight each week by weight lifting and eating proper nutrition. What she taught me is knowledge I'll have for life. The money I spent by hiring Julia is the best investment I've ever made for myself. I'm 2.5 months away from reaching my goal weight and to me that is priceless. Before Julia left Miami she also gave me lots of tips on how to successfully maintain my goal weight once I reach that point.
Barb and I have been friends for a few years now. I've had the honor to witness her being a wonderful wife and amazing mom. Recently, I've had the privilege of working with her on this awesome 'getting fit' journey! This journey is not mine alone, she's with me every step of the way! There are many great trainers out there to work with, but, in my opinion, what sets Barb separate from all the rest is her sincere desire to help others achieve their fitness goals. She's had her own personal struggles and isn't afraid to share with those that will benefit from knowing that she has walked the same walk in her own life years ago. When I was ready to make the change with my own health and happiness, Barb was the only one that I would turn to. And I'm so very happy that I did!! Barb and I have worked together for over 2 months and I've learned so much from her. She's not only created a workout that is specific to me and my physical needs, but is thorough in her explanation and very detailed. We do not live in the same town or state, so we do everything via Skype, texts, FB messages, and phone calls. Shes literally only a phone call away. Barb is available 24/7, and I know this to be true, because I've needed a little push here or there and she's never failed to give me exactly what I need to get me through a workout or a difficult meal decision. I know she has many clients, but she has a way of making me feel like I'm her only one! And I'm sure that's how it is with each and every client, because that's just the type of person she is. She's sincere, dedicated, fun, and knowledgeable. Barb is the complete package when looking for knowledge, direction, and support. I've nicknamed her the "nice" Jillian Michaels, because she pushes you to a level that you just don't think you can reach, all with a smile on her face. Because, she knows that you CAN reach that level and more. I'm eternally grateful for her and once you work with Barb, you'll feel the exact same way as I do!
