Personable, patient, adaptable, talented, encouraging, energetic, and knowledgable are only some of the words that describe Gonzalo. At our first meeting he made me feel so comfortable it felt like I had known him for a long time. I have always wanted to take private dance lessons but I was always discouraged thinking it would be too expensive and hard to come by. That wasn't the case at all. Gonzalo responded to my request the same day and was able to work with my budget. He is always right on time and is very friendly with my family too. If you see Latin dance lessons in your near future, don't hesitate to call on Gonzalo. There is no way you'll be disappointed.

The brilliance of Judicita as a wedding choreographer and dance teacher is best conveyed by my husband, Andrew: I am a man who is terrified of dancing. In six weeks, Judicita took my dancing from "baby giraffe immediately after birth" to, as our wedding guests commented, "surprisingly not terrible" and "actually kind of really impressive." I did not want to jump out of a window at any point in the teaching process. Judicita was professional, empathetic, and effective both as a teacher and a choreographer. I am extremely happy with the services she provided and would recommend her in a heartbeat. I proposed to a woman of Puerto Rican/Peruvian background. She lives to dance. I was informed, lovingly and with zero wiggle room, that our first dance at the wedding would involve me doing salsa. Growing up, the blackest nightmares I ever had involved me trying and failing to dancing in front of all of my friends and family. So, choking down the terror, my then-fiancée and I contracted with Judicita to teach us (i.e. me) a choreographed 3-4 minute salsa dance. Judicita is--and I cannot stress this enough--extremely good a teaching. She has all of the normal, fundamental dance instructor skills: she's a talented dancer herself, she's very good at motion analysis and mechanics, and she's able to define and adjust choreography on the fly. But where she truly excels is her raw ability to teach. Rather than the familiar and irritating "Do this. No, like this. Point your toe more. No, like THIS. Watch me AGAIN" style of fussy instruction you get at many salsa rooms, Judicita is genuinely and patiently focused on teaching you to move. "That was great!" says Judicita with what feels like genuine excitement. "If you hold your chin a little higher the spin will be tighter, but you've really got the basic motion down!". She continually explained the "why" behind the motions, and let us learn at our own pace without getting hung up on perfection. We learned exactly what we needed for our dance. More importantly, I didn't feel like I was going to throw up from stress during lessons. I could list out many other positives: her quick and precise decisions on choreography--always listening closely to what we liked and didn't like; her flexibility in dealing with our schedule; her constant positivity and professionalism. In the end, we successfully pulled of an amazing first dance that was exactly what my bride wanted. Was I actually a born dancer? An unpolished diamond in the rough whose amazing skills were simply waiting to be discovered? A modern-day Patrick Swayze, if you will? This is what I'll keep telling myself. But the truth is, the only reason I walked out onto the floor excited, confident, and prepared, instead of nauseous and terrified, is because Judicita guided me there every step of the way. She should be teaching movie stars and professional competition dancers, instead of awkward dudes hoping to impress their partners. But thank God she does.

I signed up for personal salsa lessons and she's been extremely patient and knowledgeable. The curriculum she put together is tailored towards my style and there is a well-defined progression. She's easy going in her teaching style and fun to dance with. I highly recommend for lessons.

I was amazing! Forever Dancing Ballroom is like a partner dance sanctuary, and Fabio has so much knowledge in dance... I have taken private lessons before, but it does not compare. I have just bought 10 more lessons and I am looking forward to them. I feel inspired, empowered and motivated. I am also planning on attending some of their group classes and parties. The studio is clean, spacious, charming and unique. Parking was easy and free. The staff is courteous and the instructors look like “ dancing with the stars” professional dancers. I saw some very beginner students (wedding couples learning) and some very advanced (at least they look like that for me) and they all look very happy. Fabio magically solved (at the first 10 minutes of the lesson) some issues that I have been having with my dance since I started a couple of years ago. I wish I had started my first lesson with him.

I’ve never had any knowledge/experience in dance before I took the class with All About Dancing. Ms. Kinnunen has taken time to give me a basic understanding of different types of dance and helped me to pick one that I like/meets my needs the most. I’ve been learning Salsa with her and I would greatly recommend my friends or anyone who are passionate about dance.

I've been taking ballroom lessons with Ray for about 6 years. He's a fabulous instructor. Watching him dance is like viewing living art. In addition to time spent in class, he and some of his students gather to practice a couple of nights a month at a local ballroom, where he takes the time to dance with and coach his students. Dance students of all levels would benefit from his instruction.

Simply an Outstanding instructor. Hailing from Trinidad and Tobago my ability to have rhythm in my hips comes natural to me; however when it comes to Salsa which is brand new to me I have two left feet. Helena and her instructor collogues have made learning Salsa as a beginner as easy as 1-2-3. Though I am still learning and still get nervous the fun and encouraging atmosphere makes it easy to relax and embrace the Salsa culture. I am amazed how slowly but surely I am getting better and more confident with each class I attend. I really appreciate Helena and her efforts through Fusion Urbana. As I continue to progress I dream of one day walking into the Salsa Room ( Salsa Club) and being able to dance with any female with confidence and style. I have a good feeling that if I stay the course I will be able to accomplish this dream with the help of Helena and her staff. Thanks so much!!!!

Love this place!! My husband and I attended one class this past Saturday and we had so much fun. I dont have much prior dance experience and my husband hates dancing but, Nadege and the other students made us feel so comftorable and even made my husband have fun! Not only did I leave with new moves, my whole mood shifted from when I entered. I had so much fun and the teacher is great ... and even better the first class was free. I will definitely be registering for a monthly package here and bringing friends!!!

I will not be able to do Alina justice in this short review, but if you are in need of someone to help you with your first dance, please go see her. My fiancé and I are getting married this weekend, and of course, two weeks ago decided we should probably get dance lessons. Alina responded immediately and squeezed us in for two 90 minute sessions in back to back weekends. We were nervous as we had never done anything like this, but she put us completely at ease upon entering her studio. We picked a pretty fast paced first dance (Luther Vandross- never too much) and Alina, without hearing it beforehand choreographed an entire dance to it in our first lesson on the fly. She sent us home with a video on our phone after the first week to practice from and I was so amazed! We were dancing and we actually looked good doing it! Square steps, swing steps, and other steps I'm butchering the name of, but just enough to look like we could dance, without being too choreographed. She is really the sweetest, and the woman has moves!! If you can let her help you for even one session do it - you won't regret it. We had so much fun learning together from her we want to go back and learn more at some point to sharpen up our dance skills for other weddings we'll be attending! Thank you thank you thank you, Alina!

If you want to learn to dance and meet new people Arthur Murray Dance Center Silver Spring is where you want to go. I have been going there for several months and the experience continues to be delightful. The facilities are first-rate. The instructors are exceptional and caring and the whole environment is welcoming. The learning experience is comfortable in that you can go to weekly group classes and practice parties to augment your private lessons. There is also a weekly dance where you can put it all together and just have a good time. You can do as little or as much as you like. If you want a comfortable, fun place to learn to dance, join me at Arthur Murray Dance Center Silver Spring. BWP

My husband and I hired Robyn to teach us a choreography for a Marc Anthony song to be performed during our wedding reception in Europe. My husband is from Austria and I am from Puerto Rico so we wanted to try something different (bolero and cha-cha) instead of the traditional waltz. Robyn taught us a great choreography during 5 sessions. She was very energetic, friendly and, most of all, patient. She was also open to making changes to adjust choreography to our level. We definitely recommend Robyn for dance lessons and we are planning to rehire her for other Latin dance classes.

I have taken (and am currently taking) group and private lessons from Jody. Her upbeat and positive approach encourages me to learn! She helps me see what I am doing well and she also works with me to improve my weak spots in learning a dance. She covers technique and styling as well as the steps in her lessons and classes. If you want to learn to ballroom dance well and have fun doing it, I highly recommend taking classes or lessons from Jody White!

Fantastic. Garry is a professional who has been very helpful yet patient with our lack of prior experience. My fiancé and I have had a lot of fun with our lessons and are now very excited about our first dance. We have no reservations in recommending him to family, friends, and strangers alike.

I've been going to Erica's class for a little over a year, and I still can't seem to get enough! Erica brings us classic Dancehall moves, mixed with all the hot new styles, all while working up a nice sweat! I always feel like I get a full body work out, and if I take classes regularly I feel my endurance and stamina increase dramatically. Erica is warm and welcoming, always inviting people of any skill level to join her classes. She is so receptive of all the different levels that often she'll break down the moves until people really get them, or have alternative moves in the routine that you can adjust to your comfort level. In her class it's all about bringing what you've got, and being proud of it! She always says to "Show up, and show out!" reminding us that we each have a unique style, something to be proud of. She helps everyone leave their mark on the Dance floor, in the true spirit of the Dancehall style. The best improvement would be longer classes, so she could teach us more! It always seems like the end of class comes too soon, once we really get the ball rolling. Can't wait to see her take over more of the DMV, her class is so unique, and reasonably priced, everyone should be taking it!

I have been looking for a place to learn more about salsa and bachata steps. First, I went to a Herndon place for dancing classes and I was dissatisfied with the quality of instruction, the attention from the staff, and the fact that they wanted to talk first about money; besides, the first lesson I took, I felt I learned nothing. Then, I went to the Crown Dance Studio for my first free class. I was impressed by the instructor, Abraham Sannoh, he was friendly and encouraging, very professional. He danced with me first, taught me about the position of body, hands, feet, movement’s techniques, so many things! I was amazed! Totally different from what I “knew” or have learned before. After long time dancing, he checked out first what my level was, then we sat down, he informed me about what I needed to learn next, he asked about me, my interest in dancing, what I wanted to learn, etc. he also gave me recommendations and gave me different options to pay for the classes. I felt he really care about me and about my personal dancing goals. At the end, I found out I got almost the double of everything I was offered in the other place, more one to one classes, more group classes and more parties, a better deal compared to the other place! For a much lower price! I will take now my third class today, and I am thinking about extending the dancing classes since I now want to learn how to dance swing and tango! So far, so good! This place is great! Excellent flooring, excellent location, excellent professional instructors… I highly recommend Crown Dance Studio.

Highly recommend Shaun!!! What a wonderful, first dance lesson experience—after a quick and courteous introduction, Shaun and his lovely fiancé, Melanie, got right to business and put me at ease immediately. Since I am starting from ground zero I was a little nervous. Shaun is taking a step by step (no pun intended) approach and was able to get me moving around the floor and while I still have a lot of work to do I felt like I was in the presence of a master—not only in dance, but his personality is of coach and mentor—that cannot be over stated. I immediately signed up for 10 more lessons and I am excited about reaching my goal of surprising my girlfriend some day with some nice dance moves

I started dancing with denidanzco Febuary 2015. My first class was Lara's 6 count basic West Coast Swing group class. I love the group classes and Lara is a great instructor. Lara really connects with her students. I have been taking private WCS lessons and feel I have really progressed over the past year. I have also taken Salsa with David on Monday night. If you are looking for great instruction, fun group sessions, or private lessons denidanzco gets a five star recommendstion from me on all counts. Rob S
