My daughter was 4 days away from her midterm for an online honors trig and precalculus class when we hired Alameddine Kaddoura. Within three days Alameddine transformed my daughter from stressed out to scoring a 96 on her test. Alameddine has a wonderful way of building confidence in his students. He is dedicated to their success accommodating our schedule to ensure my complete understanding of the material; working with her mornings and evenings, providing flash cards, extra materials and immediate response to requests for support. Alameddine has a great sense of humor and has a fun interaction with kids, while also absolutely brilliant and able to explain very complex material in simplified terms . Excellent, excellent, excellent tutor. I could not ask for anything more. We plan to keep Alameddine throughout our daughter's school year for calculus and SAT prep.
Paul tutored me for two months for the SAT and ACT. He is very patient and helped me understand tricky math concepts from a new perspective. He knows all the tips/tricks/strategies for raising someone's test scores and he gives great practice resources. When I started the standardized testing process I felt very overwhelmed but Paul helped me raise my confidence in my test taking abilities and in turn, my scores improved dramatically.
My 13 year old son (8th grade) started working with Mr. Pow in February 2015. He's in Pre-Algebra and was really struggling with the concepts. The decision to have him work with Mr. Pow was one of the best decisions I've ever made! My son now has a very strong understanding of Algebra, and its complex processes, and went from struggling and earning low test grades to currently having a B+ in his class! He met with Mr. Pow once a week for 60 - 90 minutes and on occasion we'd do two sessions a week. Mr. Pow took the time to explain the problems in a way that really clicked with my son. He's courteous, patient and really loves Math and that shines through in his work with his students. If you're looking for someone to help your child with Math, then I highly recommend Bill Pow. We'll definitely be working with him again once my son starts High School in the fall.
Let me start out by saying that I am NOT a "math person." I've always struggled in all my math classes (Except geometry that involved shapes and vocabulary. Go-figure.) This semester I had to take Calculus for Social Management at George Washington University. I soon realized that I was falling behind, and not understanding the professor or the concepts. I was beyond lucky to find Nema. We spoke on the phone for only 30 minutes the night before our first session- and he proved how much he could help me in such a short time. Nema is an incredible professor. He helped me quickly find my strengths and weaknesses- and is incredibly patient. We reviewed each concept- and the ones I did not understand he was able to explain multiple different ways, and effortlessly provide different example problems. I went from not understanding 90% of the class and having to constantly refer to my notes; to knowing each rule and types of problems inside and out. We worked together many hours to prepare for my midterm- and after many sessions with Nema, that was the first time I had ever taken a math test without freezing up on a problem. I knew exactly what to do without hesitation. Nema is an amazing professor, has a great sense of humor, and clearly loves what he does and it shows!
Ben Schwabb/physics & engineering tutor is a real professional: knowledgable, concise, thorough, and presents a well-planned lesson each time. He helped my high schooler pull up his physics grade dramatically and pre-taught an electrical engineering course to my college-age son to get a jumpstart on his fall class. Alex/director is extremely responsive, provides quality tutors quickly, and stays in contact to ensure client satisfaction. Every company should operate this way.
I have always had a confidence issue when I get into a testing environment, anxiety is a major problem for me. Due to my particular circumstances, I was advised by Chelsea that I could apply for additional testing time from the ACT organization. Thankfully, I got 50% more time to take the test. I would not even have known that this was possible if Chelsea had not given me this information and relevant advice. I have to say that after spending tutoring time with my Chelsea tutor, my expectations were more than satisfied, not only did I do well in my ACT’s, I was able to achieve a 31 score, which I never thought I would be able to do.
Viven did an excellent job ensuring my daughter understood the fundamentals as it relates to Algebra. He worked diligently with her on pending assignments and always did a thorough and detailed review of prior tests and upcoming exams. Viven helped my daughter secure an A in Algebra when she had never ever seen the material prior to this school year.
I worked many hours with Emily in TOP SCORE EDU with essays along with GRE Prep. She was full of energy and always pushing me to do better and helping me focus on my weak points to make them strong. It was always a pleasure to sit down with Emily and work. My GRE increased immensely and also my writing and outlining skills. It was a perfect fit for me.
I worked with Lotus Prep when preparing to take the LSAT about a year ago. Before I started working with Michael, I was struggling to get the score that I wanted and needed to get into law school. After meeting with Michael twice a week for 3-4 months, everything started to click as he was able to help me simplify each question and pick the right answers, rather than over analyze which I had been doing. Through our sessions I was able to improve my score by 15 points. I applaud Michael for his patience and genuine service. I would highly recommend his company for anyone looking for tutoring services and achieving a more desirable score.
My son is a junior in high school and we desperately needed a tutor to help him in AP Calculus. Michael has been a huge help with matching us up with a tutor. Michael listens and fully understands the needs of a student and family struggling in a subject. He took the time and effort to select a tutor that best fit our son's needs and personality. He scheduled an initial "get to know you" session with my son so that they could learn more about my son and to understand his current study and classroom habits, etc. The tutor follows up after each session with feedback on what was covered, what needs more attention and how things are going. So far, so good...and I, as a parent, feel like we are in great hands. I appreciate Michael's attentiveness to our situation. I look forward to seeing my son succeed in this class! I highly recommend A+ Club for Student Success.
My son is preparing for a test to enter an apprenticeship program. He needed to brush up on various math problems. She patiently worked on each problem with him giving him helpful tips along the way. She has a very flexible schedule and works in a nice quiet environment.
Andrew Sun To whomever this concerns, Before I signed up with this tutoring program, I was not very good academically. In fact, I was the worst in the toolshed. Knowing that I have no time to lose and my bleak future is upon me, I did what many people think it's best; To join the military. I didn't know what to expect of the navy to be honest, so I was unaware of the test you need to take called the asvab. My heart sank a little. I began searching on the Internet, looking for a tutor (especially on math) until I found out about Theo. Theo is the CEO for student circle and unlike other tutors; he is the only one that stood out. He is understanding, ambitious, and kind, but most importantly he can relate to you, creating a special bond which prompts you to succeed. So I explained to him my situation and he set me up with another tutor by the name of Xin. Right off the bat both of us got along and he helped me through two grueling months. There were times when I wanted to give up, but he was there for me. The funny thing is, he is going through an exam as well during my time with him, so he is the hardest working tutor I have ever came across. I swear, these two do actually care about me because when I took the asvab, I scored high enough to achieve some of the most coveted jobs the navy has to offer! These two will forever be part of my family. Student circle has the best sessions as well as memories. Thank you. Andrew
Mary worked with my son (a sophomore in high school) for nine weeks, and the change in my son's confidence with writing improved significantly. Starting in first grade he developed a dislike for writing, which over the years turning into almost a phobia. He was so intimidated by the process, that he would rather fail than turn in an essay. As a result, he never really learned HOW to write, and his anxiety increased. Mary worked with him, starting with the basics of how to map out and organize a persuasive essay. What took him hours before, he was able to accomplish in less than half an hour. It was very empowering, and helped him considerably with facing writing tasks. One thing that I didn't expect with a writing tutor was Mary's incorporation of subtle life coaching. She had him examine his motivations and his goals. They even did personality testing. I think it was very eye-opening for him to have the chance to look at himself from a different vantage point. Her approach is very supportive and validating. She knows what to ask to make you (both the student and the parent) feel important and interesting. Finally, one of the things I appreciated most as a parent, was that she sent me an email after every session detailing what they had done and explaining her plans for the next session. I can't recommend her highly enough.
While we are still waiting on the final scores for both of our daughter's SAT test, Les provided what we asked him to do, with the wisdom of a father and instructor and that was "how to handle the questions you don't know the answer to." We had a limited time to prepare for the test and Les was able to cover a lot of ground. Hiring him one on one, enabled us to adjust his teaching and customize to the needs of our daughters. He also proved to be a good sounding board for us as we worked the system. I would be happy to provide a recommendation for Les.

Personalized tutoring for standardized exams and academic subjects taught by top performing undergraduate and graduate school students from Ivy League.
My daughter was recently tutored by Sam for a college pre-cal/trig summer school course. The pace was fast and by the time we called Sam, she was in the fifth of her sixth week. By week 5 her grades were taking a downward spiral as the material was getting more complex. She was teetering on the precipice with a C-. After one intense week of working with Sam she finished with a B. He worked magic. He was patient and and an excellent teacher .I initially worried that he would be "too qualified" to tutor the course, but he was able to explain math to my rising sophomore college daughter, who has always struggled with the subject. He was the best math tutor my daughter has ever had. And a very nice man.
Wonderful teacher - motivates her students and build the love of learning in them. I find my son more confident in English; he has developed strong vocabulary started enjoying non-fiction books. I appreciate her was of encouraging students think out of the box. The emphasis on critical thinking is the highlight of het teaching.
Excellent ACT/SAT tutor I was referred Dr. Reetika by another mom from my sons class. She truly helped shape his career. She helped my son to prepare both for ACT and SAT to identify which works better for him. In the end my son took both the exams and did well on them. There were times that I had difficulty keeping him accountable but Reetika had a good balance of being a tutor and sounding board for my advice. I recommend Reetika to anyone needing help in test prep or honors classes of their kid
Mr. Glass tutored my son this year in Algebra 2. My Son was struggling majorly. His grade at the end of the first quarter was extremely low. He began working with Mr. Glass twice a week shortly after the first quarter. This helped tremendously!! My son has a B now and is about to graduate High School. Mr. Glass was very patient and extremely effective in helping him with homework. This helped tremendously with his quiz and tests. Mr.Glass was always on time and if we needed extra support before an exam he was glad to add extra time. I was very satisfied with him as my sons tutor !! He will be working with my younger son soon too!
