Phenomenal service and great guy! Very impressed with Steve's quick response, quality work, and overall professionalism. Will definitely be hiring him for other jobs in the future.
There are three things I look for 1) on time - Donovan arrived on time ready to go to work 2) knowledgeable - he clearly knew this line of work and took the time to show me the necessary info about my furnace 3) provides quality service I would hire this company again
Working with John was mostly great experience. After his assessment of our attic he was hesitant to recommend remediation without an air quality test. Other companies were quick to give us a bit for remediation work without a thorough inspection. Thankfully our test came back negative so no remediation was needed and save us big $$$. My only criticism is timeliness for appointments could use some improvement, but overall John remained very professional, receptive, and honest. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends or family. They are not out to make a quick buck.
Simply the best. The only inspector I use and have for 10 years. I don't even give my clients a list of inspectors to choose from, because I haven't found one better and would be doing my clients a disservice to suggest others I know aren't as good. Extremely thorough and a nice guy too!. Prices are in line with other inspectors. Won't scare buyers and will try to explain alternative ways to fix an issue. Knows mold inside out and also does mold testing and remediation. If you want the best, and are prepared for a very thorough inspection, hire him.
Mr. Littlepage did exactly what he said he was going to do in the bid and in truth a bit more then that. He kept me informed at all times with progress and provided pictures of the before and after work. His prices our very fair and the quality of work was excellent. I would recommend Mr. Littlepage and his company without reservation. He does good honest works something which is a rarity today.
Top Rankin HVAC responsive time was exceptional. They arrived to my home and provided the most professional quality of service. Within a matter of a few minutes the subject matter expert was able to identify the problem. He replaced the part and the pricing was reasonable. The HVAC owner was down to earth and I’m overwhelmed with the exceptional service that he provide and I would recommend him to anyone. Being in the house without air on one of the hottest days this year allowed us to appreciate his hard work and dedication he provided. This is the type service that you don’t see that often.
I am extremely impressed with Holderman Construction. I recently hired this company for a project that involved several components, both indoor and exterior components, and I was completely satisifed with the results of every single component. I’ll go into the details in a minute, but among the highlights of working with this company were the excellent communication and feedback, the punctuality, great professionalism, and above all, the incredible attention to detail and high work quality, along with an excellent value - these guys put a lot of labor into my project at more than a fair price. And they were extremely easy to work with. My project lasted 4 days and they were great to interact with every single day, and did quality work every day. They were polite, friendly, and clean. They even removed their shoes, and did an outstanding job with post-project cleanup. The main interior project was bathroom remodeling of cabinets. We had attempted previously to have someone use color stain to re-stain our cabinets and trim, and we just never liked the results. So this project was starting to add up in cost, with a readily we didn’t really like. Ray (the primary/owner) and Aaron (one of his main partners) did an absolutely outstanding job on the bathroom cabinets. They fully sanded all the drawers and doors down so that the previous and original stains/polyurethane were completely removed before applying the color stain again. That was a critical component, because in the end, the color stain ended up looking terrific - even better than I’d hoped it would look. My expectation of how they should look when completed came from the swatches of the particular color I selected (rustic grey) for the color stain I’d purchased. We realized that the previous application of that same stain, we weren’t really seeing the wood come through the stain, but instead the previous (original) stain, becuase it hadn’t been fully removed. In the end, the cabinets and trim looked BETTER than that expectation! Ray and Aaron really hit it out of the park on this one. And when they were done with the sanding and staining, they cleaned up really well from the dust and there was very little lingering chemical smell from the stain. Awesome! I also had them fix some lingering plumbing problems that had frustrated me because a previous contractor was not able to resolve them. Not Holderman Construction - fixed them both for good. The remaining components of my project were wood rot repair and storm door installation. I really loved what they did with both of these tasks. Seems straightforward but there is the materials aspect - which product, wood or vinyl, etc. There was an odd complexity to the back door wood rot that introduced a potential obstacle but Ray and Aaron were able to find a solution and overcome it by finding the right type of wood at the right thickness (original builder apparently chose an unorthodox door and window frame thickness for SOME but not all of my windows and doors). They repaired the wood rot and painted over it and it looks great and is of course no longer rotted. But the real bonus for me was that in the process, Ray managed to correct an incredibly vexing problem with the main back door in front of the storm door - it was not level, and leaking a TON, and I mean a TON of air through the bottom and the sides. I didn’t go into the storm door installation with any expectation of improving the air flow issue for that door, but that’s what I ended up with. An almost complete remediation of that problem. I am absolutely thrilled with the back door now. It closes properly, it’s level, and virtually no air coming in! That’s only been bothering us for 15 years now. On top of that, several other contractors tried, but ultimately failed, to resolve that issue with the door. And come to think of it, at least one if not two previous contractors told me they’d fixed wood rot issues that they really did not fix. Well, they’re fixed now, becuase Holderman Construction fixed them CORRECTLY. Ray is highly attentive to detail, does quality work, at a more than fair price. You can tell he knows what he’s doing. And I can say the same for Aaron, his partner. I really enjoyed working with them, and not only would I hire Holderman Construction again, but I’m sure right now that I WILL hire them again for other projects I have waiting. I highly recommend them.
