My daughter, age 14, and my son, age 9, took up weekly lessons, guitar and piano respectively, with Mr. Judd this past fall. I am very impressed with the amount of musical knowledge my two children have obtained under Mr. Judd's guidance in a short amount of time. My children look forward to going to their weekly lessons as they know it is time well-spent and always something new to be learned. Mr. Judd is kind, professional, encouraging, and fun. As far as teachers go, Mr. Judd is a treasure and we are thankful for the opportunity to learn the joys of music with him. Highly recommended!

I contacted Robert to help my organization certify 20 employees in CPR. Robert was very accommodating to our needs and came to our location to do the classes. He explained and worked with each employee to ensure we all understood the importance of doing CPR correctly. He did an outstanding job and would highly recommend him and his company. I would be happy to speak with anyone who wanted to know more about our experience.

My daughter has been taking piano lessons from Barbara for about 7 months. Barbara is a great teacher. She instructs on piano theory in addition to playing, which gives my daughter a well-rounded understanding of music. Barbara has a great style with kids, she makes it fun and engaging, and challenges them in an appropriate way to help them grow. She also involves them in picking out recital songs which makes performing fun, and takes the time to teach them how to play in front of an audience which helps to build confidence. My daughter's level of piano playing has continuously improved with each lesson and, even more importantly, Barbara has nurtured my daughters love of piano and music.

While I'm confident Lisa tailors her lessons to an individual student's desired pace, she has the ability to teach with the kind of speed and rigour that serious players are looking for. She shines the most with her knowledge and taste for music. She seems to have a deep understanding of the music theory that's relevant to teaching someone the guitar. Lisa has proven to me that she cares about my growth through her kind but telling actions. Small things, such as keeping me after the scheduled time free of charge, so that we could work on some concepts. A solid pick for a guitar teacher!

In the free lesson I learned several things that had previously been a mystery. It just hadn't clicked. He is structuring his lessons to accommodate the uke I play, which is exactly what I wanted.

About

Instructor SteVon Edwards has been studying and performing piano since age 5. After studying the Suzuki method on Cello at the age of 3 at the University of Louisville, she received training at the Louisville Academy of Music, completing coursework within nine years. She currently accompanies choirs at local churches regularly and also plays for family and friends' events. "I'm looking forward to working with students of all ages and abilities." Teaching Environment Learning should be fun! Music is never dull. Music shapes our lives; from when you hear your favorite song on the radio to setting the tone for an experience. To teach music, which is integral to our day-to-day experience, care must be taken in not only ensuring each student learns the basics and proper technique, but that learning is done in a friendly environment that welcomes self-expression and mutual feedback.
