My kid is learning so much and loves going to singing lesson.
When I began lessons with Guy, I had little singing experience, but immediately felt at ease with his soft spoken, easy going personality and engaging teaching style. Guy is outstanding in every facet of his work. He excels at explaining intricate and difficult concepts in a way that makes sense to me, and is very kind and understanding when doing so. His own talent as a singer is second to none, and I have found his use of human anatomy in understanding the voice to be extremely helpful to my practice. I find my time with Guy to be very well spent, and I dare say he is the best voice teachers in New Orleans.
Denise is very talented and knowledgable about music. I've been taking her lessons for singing since January 2016, and she's been very patient with me. She walks you through the basics of singing and helps you improve your skills. Singing is achievable for anyone; it just depends on your teacher and your dedication. The teacher is amazing, so just make sure you're dedicated to your lessons. You are paying for them, and they will pay off!
Dr. Marchiafava is an excellent instructor! I loved our lessons together. She was very invested in my progress and the way she explains technique really helped me. She is very informative. I would highly recommend her!!
This was my first time using this app and my first time taking voice lessons! Abby is very patient and understanding with my learning process and is very encouraging and supportive. She's great y'all, book her!!!!
Colin is the best piano teacher I've had in the 4 years I've been practicing in New Orleans. She is very structured and organized with the lessons and I can feel myself moving forward with her as an instructor. She keeps very detailed notes on the lesson and what you should be practicing for the week. I highly recommend her as a teacher!
Good teacher for short term assignment for a kid
Incredibly helpful, responsive, and effective with a great teacher referral. Thank you!
I have successfully taught many people ranging in age from 6-35 basic piano and voice techniques. All of them are now able to play the piano at or above average range.
I have a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from San Francisco Conservatory of Music, as well as a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Loyola University New Orleans. I have taken courses in vocal repertoire and pedagogy, and I feel comfortable teaching students with all levels of musical and knowledge of singing. I take a number of approaches to singing depending on the needs of every student. With some people I am very technical, and with others I like to take a more holistic, confidence-based approach.
For young children, I offer small group courses in Musikgarten (0-7), Singing Lessons for Little Singers (3-7), Music for Little Mozarts (4-7), beginning violin, viola, guitar, soprano/alto recorder (7-10), and flute (9-12). Intermediate-advanced students may take individual or semi-private (2-3 students) lessons for piano and/or voice. After at least one year of lessons, kids may audition for my youth ensemble - Renaissance Kids. I also offer music appreciation, history, theory, musicianship, songwriting, performance, and wellness coaching for college students, amateur and professional musicians (any instrument). Life is like a piano. What you get out of it depends on how you play it....When will your musical journey begin? Call now to schedule a free consultation!

Hi, everyone. I have always had a passion for music. In high school, I was named the most talented and the most likely to be famous. In college, I studied vocal music and elementary education. While in college, I performed at Carnegie Hall in NYC. I currently am a 5th grade science teacher who performs for wedding and funerals in my area, and I would like to start offering vocal lessons.
I provide singing lessons. All styles, technique is the emphasis. I also do speech improvement coaching. I also offer the actor's voice workshops. The teacher's background includes 25 years as a classical singer, master of music from New England Conservatory and doctorate from Columbia University, minored in speech pathology.
I can teach all levels of modern piano rock, blues, jazz, and country music. I can also teach all vocal styles and modern software use.
I'm a great listener. Being calm is key for beginners.
I have about 2 and a half years of experience teaching private lessons.
I work with individuals to first learn music and theory, then I tackle in playing the instrument, such as a guitar, bass or vocal lessons.
