Sammy was so awesome to work with. She was incredibly flexible with her time when we ran into a couple of unexpected delays, and she made the entire process SO smooth and fun. She was also incredibly understanding and helpful when my girlfriend (now fiancée) became overheated during the photo shoot, and she even gave us a ride back to our hotel. If you want to get engaged in New Orleans, you’d be a fool not to go with her as your photographer choice.

I hired Josh to take photos of my proposal to my fiance' in New Orleans. She had no idea of the proposal and no idea that there would be a photographer. Even after I proposed I looked but didnt see Josh until he aproached us. Turns out he followed us a couple hundred meters to the site, taking photo's the whole way. Great candid moments were captured due to his skill and profesionalism. Josh is a great communicator, he helped me find a great location for my proposal that my fiance absolutely loved and has bragged to her friends about since our return. Josh's willingness to adapt to meet my needs for this event allowed me to be less stressed about the photographs, and really focus on how I was going to propose. The moment my fiance' and I saw the photos Josh took for us, we knew we wanted him to cover our wedding! Phenominal detail, real profesional, true gentleman! I will hire Josh for our wedding, and recomend him to anyone looking for a great experience!

I hired Daniel to photograph my best friend getting proposed to, as a secret photographer. Daniel was late (due to a traffic block) so he missed the proposal. I asked several times for a partial refund, did everything respectfully, but he simply ignored my emails until I had sent multiple messages and said "I'm not sure what I can do about this." He was nice, took some pretty pictures of the couple after, but simply did not do what he was hired to do, and then has since denied any partial refund.
Beyond that, my friend (who was getting engaged) told me he was late, but he never reached out to me to apologize, and he never sent the photos to me directly, just to her. As the paying client here, I found this inappropriate as well. As my friend was in New Orleans on vacation for the proposal, her friends and family really wanted to enjoy these professional pictures of the event, but now unfortunately we do not have them.

This was an amazing experience from start to finish. From his initial contact Daren stood out by being concerned with the overall vision of my shoot and not just the basic details of when where what. We were doing a couples shoot for our first Anniversary since we didn't do engagement pictures and he captured everything we wanted to convey in this shoot. He was extremely easy to work with and made me feel comfortable from the second I met him. I am not a person that takes great photos, but he helped me tap into another part of myself that takes good pictures lol. Our pictures look like something out of a fashion spread in a magazine! I can't say enough good things and would recommend him to ANYONE I know for ANYTHING. I will definitely be using him for our future photography needs!

Olga arrived early and set us up with some really amazing shots. She was super friendly and made the intimidation of taking professional shots disappear with how open and willing she was with what we wanted. She suggested various poses and locations that worked extremely well. Caught a lot of off-guards and photos of us just being in each others company which can show the best in a couple. My proposal was completely unexpected for everyone, but Olga was ready and captured the moment! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I highly suggest if you decide to book for services, request Olga. Awesome, awesome job!!

If I could select all 5 of the options of why I most liked working with Tracie I would have. This woman was personable, professional and also a TON of fun. I live in Wisconsin had a very short, sweet elopement in NOLA. When I first started talking with her she went above and beyond to help us find a free & beautiful area for the ceremony. Due to weather, we had last minute changes. She was quick to adjust and also offer additional options for the post-ceremony photos. She worked out special pricing since I only wanted a couple pictures and knew I didn't need more than 1 hour. She took full advantage of every minute of that hour and our expectations were significantly exceeded. The photos are GORGEOUS! and we got so many more than we had thought we would get. Also, I am the most awkward person behind a camera or video.. she captured my most genuine smile and captured the immense amount of love my husband and I have for each other. I am beyond ecstatic and would hire Tracie every single time!

We paid Gabrielle $250 to do a night time engagement photoshoot with 30 edits. We told her we really liked dramatic, gothic aesthetics that are all over NOLA. We took photos in the French Quarter and things seemed to go alright. We didn’t get much direction from her on posing, but we’ve also never done a shoot before, so we just rolled with it. However, when we got the photos, there were some glaring problems. First, she used a harsh flash on a bunch of the photos; we looked washed out and oversaturated on a black background with really harsh shadows. Many were taken at an upward angle that was super unflattering. Perhaps most disappointing, we didn’t capture hardly any of the backgrounds in the locations we went to or there were visible people/cars/garbage cans. At the time she assured us she could take these out of the images with AI. She also chose to send us every single photo, so we ended up with hundreds, most of which were clearly unusable. I’ve attached some examples. Some were better than others, but this gives an idea of the consistent issues we saw throughout the photos. We quickly realized that it would not be possible to find 30 photos out of the bunch and reached out to Gabrielle. We knew she had done her best here, so we let her know we appreciated her time, but we did not see a purpose in moving forward with the edits and suggested perhaps we work out a partial refund so she was compensated for the time and work she had already put in. We didn’t mention a number, but truthfully we would have been fine with getting 50 bucks back and moving on amicably. We were open to other resolutions as well if she could address our concerns. After a couple days, the response we got back was defensive, hostile and emotionally charged. Instead of offering any type of resolution or digging more into what we were unhappy with, she became dishonest about our agreement and discussions and insisted there would be no refund. Gabrielle claimed the edits were “free” so she had already fulfilled her obligation (this was untrue and had been discussed in our initial contact), she said she advised against a night shoot (she had actually said it would be “cool,” and only advised us she’d have to bring extra equipment), then she began to blame us because on a few occasions she had let my fiancé look through the view finder. At the time things looked ok, but we are not photographers and we had no clue on the range of photos she was taking or their composition. She also implied she had gone above and beyond her obligations because we walked a few blocks around the French Quarter taking photos, which is the location we had agreed to. When we respectfully expressed our disappointment and pointed out the inaccuracies, she proceeded to say she would have a lawyer read our conversations. Eventually, I was forced to end the conversation when she said she was “Sorry we didn’t have the guts to say something at the time,” but that wasn’t her problem. Repeatedly, she asserted that she “fulfilled their obligation” and “did a great job,” while we did our best to maintain a respectful tone. Once we resigned ourselves to going through the edits, she was apparently unclear on what we wanted edited, but she never clarified. When we reached out to check on the edits one month later, she said she never received our list. She then said she “Just wanted to be done with this” and would edit anything we sent her. This was truly a terrible experience and we have a difficult time even looking at these pictures at this point. I have no doubt Gabrielle has her perspective on this, but I have attached images of our conversation for you to judge for yourselves along with examples of the photos. I know it's lengthy, would strongly recommend anyone read them before booking her. We had a night shoot two nights later with a different photographer and we were elated with the results.
