Katie makes language learning seriously fun. She has great teaching, listening, and speaking skills to keep pushing. Katie is a natural teacher -- don't hesitate to hire her to learn Spanish, Portuguese, or English.
Bruno has been a wonderful help towards my academic success. He helped me achieve high grades in both Calculus and English. He is well spoken, intelligent and has a really good understanding in most subjects. After tutoring with Bruno, my work ethic improved exponentially and I developed a deeper understanding of all subjects in school. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of academic help. I learned a great deal from Bruno.

My wife and I are still in the early phases of a multi-week tutoring program in Spanish. We have found Srta. Castro to be great to work with. She has a good understanding what we are trying to accomplish and brings an enthusiasm that makes the learning process fun . Our experience has been most positive and we would highly recommend her.
Paige is super attentive and patient. She helped me with papers that I needed to edit and also made time for me when I needed. She is flexible with hours and locations and made me feel that my learning needs were important! She is the best!
Between 2007 and 2012 I worked at Accredo Health and Sharon King provided me with excellent support in the areas of writing project proposals, PowerPoint presentations, training guides and articles for a company newsletter. Sharon has a talent for understanding what the core message needs to be and how best to communicate it. Sharons work was a major factor in the success of our companys employee communication plan and repositioning of senior management, resulting in an 80% positive score for senior management in a 2009 Employee Opinion Survey. I can confidently recommend Sharon King as an innovative and committed writer, and expert in her field. Davina Cole
I used to follow 4 methods to teach English; these are following: 1. Reading Comprehension: This will make a new student to pronounce words perfectly, and I will help him to pronounce it in the right manner. 2. Grammar: I think this is the most important part that I've been teaching for a long time. This part includes all kinds of grammars: tense, parts of speech, gerunds, uses of proper prepositions, direct and indirect narration, voice changes, sentences, etc. 3. Listening Practice: In this part, I send some clips for my students to listen, and then I ask different questions about those clips. 4. Spoken English: In this part, I choose one topic to discuss about. Sometimes, I give a topic to my students to discuss about, and if there is any mistake, I do rectify it and also help him/her how to speak accurately and fluently.

I am a certified Spanish teacher in Louisiana, but I'm not employed right now. I am certified to teach K-12 Spanish, and I have a master's degree in Spanish from the University of Texas. I can do French up to middle school and English on all levels. I am available and ready to start. Whatever is the content you're looking for, I am there to serve you in my area. If your need is grammar or conversation, we can accomplish it together. I am a black Jamaican. I left my country and traveled extensively to Central American Spanish countries, there I immersed myself in the culture and practice of the Spanish language. Upon coming to the States, I did my master's and have taught for seven years between the border of Mexico and El Paso, TX with the EPSD school district. My last job was with the Riverside Academy in Reserve Louisiana where I taught Spanish from grades 9 to 12. Apart from that, I remain loyal to my God, my family, and my country.
I have 12+ years experience writing/editing/proofreading marketing/PR materials (direct mail, brochures, website content, social media content). I've also worked on copy heavy jobs such as academic books that have been published.
I work with students to improve their test scores as well as in individualized subjects. In addition, I grant review and write grants, and write books. I am a notary public, a certified tax preparer, and a certified teacher. I'm also pursuing my master's degree in education administration and supervision.
I have a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from San Francisco Conservatory of Music, as well as a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Loyola University New Orleans. I have taken courses in vocal repertoire and pedagogy, and I feel comfortable teaching students with all levels of musical and knowledge of singing. I take a number of approaches to singing depending on the needs of every student. With some people I am very technical, and with others I like to take a more holistic, confidence-based approach. I love helping people find their own voice and go on a journey of self love and discovery to create the confidence in themselves to sing in front of other people.
