Holli cooked a family meal at our VRBO rental that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our menu included crab ceviche, spinach/brie salad, crawfish bisque, hen + alligator stuffing. Highlights for our group included the bisque + crab ceviche! Holli arrived on time and was very flexible with our group on when we actually began our first course and the general flow of our meal. I would have loved to have Holli romance the food a bit and tell use the stories behind the dishes as she was serving, but no need to deduct a star for that. The food and service was spot on.

I hired Chef Cody to cook dinner and dessert for a private bachelorette party in New Orleans. Chef Cody and I spoke several times before we arrived to make sure the menu was perfect! He offered great advice on what dishes to choose. We went with jalapeno cornbread, a seafood jambalaya, chicken and sausage gumbo, crawfish etouffee, and a chocolate bread pudding with homemade ice cream for dessert. He was very prompt and professional and took his time preparing the food. Most importantly, the dishes were delicious! Everyone was very happy with the meal, and it was one of our favorite parts of the trip. I would definitely hire him again!

It was only in March that we decided to marry in June 2018, and we decided on a small wedding of 60-75 people. And the very first detail that I wanted to take care of was food. I googled "caterer for small wedding in New Orleans" and miraculously, on Thumbtack, Gerard Maras's name came up - there were other names, but in reading about Chef Maras's life in the cooking world, I instinctively knew he was the one. I responded to his message inviting me to contact him. He quickly responded and once I spoke to him, I knew he was the best choice for me. He was interested in finding out about my vision for our wedding, and in listening to my thoughts and ideas about what I thought I might want, over the next few weeks he presented me with pictures of food possibilities and ideas. He was so helpful in discussing each dish with me, and soon came up with a finished menu for a wonderful wedding feast with delicious, unusual and beautiful food. A wedding with all the details to figure out can be very stressful, especially on short notice, but Gerard Maras exudes a sense of calm, confidence and professionalism that made everything for our wedding smooth and easy. The food was wonderful, especially his freshly made pasta with a crawfish sauce, and his food was the hot topic at our wedding. All of our family and friends are still talking about having had the best food they ever had at a wedding. He has a unique talent in not only being a wonderful chef, but knowing what foods are complimentary to each other, and presenting food beautifully, and using only the best seasonal, highest quality and fresh food. He is a real artist in that he makes everything seem effortless, but what he does requires the greatest talent and skill. Thank you Gerard, for making our wedding a truly memorable event - not just for Joe and I, but for all of our family and dear friends.

Jeanne was an absolute pleasure to work with! I went down to New Orleans to celebrate my 30th birthday with 15 of my girlfriends. Jeanne put together a fantastic birthday menu (chicken & andouille sausage gumbo, pecan & feta cheese salad, crawfish etouffee, jambalaya, crab cakes, rice and beans and bread pudding)! She was so professional and friendly; it was completely seamless from start to finish. Each dish was better then the next, every single one of my friends loved the food (15 women were very happy with the food!). Everyone raved about the bread pudding! Jeanne and her team made my 30th birthday so special! Thank you so much!

The brunch provided by these young men was awesome. Even during the planning process they helped me with the menu and provided additional ideas and also advised I could do any menu I like. They responded very quickly and stayed in touch. They came in cooked the food, set up and cleaned up. This was hands down the best. If I am ever back in NOLA I will use them and refer them as well.
