Josh is an outstandingly talented musician / producer / engineer. He produces professional music in the basement of his house that sounds like it came from an expensive studio. His studio is stocked with equipment like keys, drums, percussion, and high end mics, consoles, and a Pro Tools interface. This guy knows the music business. He's been a professional touring musician for over 20 years. His specialty is the keys; piano, organ, etc... and he sings, play percussion, accordion, and more. He's wicked easy to work with and has a great way of getting raw talent out of the folks who record with him without telling them what to do. Rock on, Josh!
I loved working with Jesse Andreasen. Whatever you would like to learn from playing guitar, recording and even theory theory, then this is your man. We had some excellent times and he even helped me write my own song for a school project that we completed in a couple of weeks. If you haven't already talk to Jesse and start taking lessons with him.
Atsushi is passionate in his career. He certainly puts in 100%. The communication was stellar. I was able to tell him what I liked and didn't like and even before getting into the studio, he was a reliable person to work with (helping with directions for example). We worked on a song for three hours because I wanted to get every second perfect and he was right there with me every step of the way. Professionally, the chemistry was great. I didn't feel nervous to sing my song because Atsushi made it comfortable for me to do so. He offered encouragement, ideas, expertise, and even services after the session was over. I am beyond happy with my recording and I plan to return again. I certainly recommend A2C as a recording company for anyone looking for a producer to turn their songs into music.
Peter Moore at Palace of Purpose is amazing! I am starting out as a voice-over artist and went to Peter for production of a demo track. He was extremely supportive all along the way. I especially appreciated his knowledge and experience with the foundations of good vocal technique. He guided me through breath work and warm ups, and gave me great exercises to continue with conditioning. He is a fantastic teacher with boundless skills - and also the patience to match! And when we moved into the studio for production, he was professional, knowledgeable, and generous with feedback and suggestions. I felt well-supported throughout the entire process. And I'm thrilled with our final product. As a bonus, he also walked me through basic setup of audio editing software on my laptop, allowing me to create a home studio. His rates are reasonable, and he works fast. The demo came in well under budget and for that I am so grateful. Go with Peter and you will not regret it!
Joe is extremely professional and easy to work with. His studio has top notch equipment. I was very impressed with his recording and editing expertise. I will definitely use his services again.
David recorded and mixed our entire album. So great. We've gotten so many gigs off this thing and it sounds amazing. Great guy. Great studio.
What a great treasure the Drummers' Studio is for musicians in the area! Kris is extremely helpful and responsive. My new piano teacher is super supportive of an adult interested in taking up lessons after 30 years away from it. Such an all-around positive experience!
Douglas Stevens helped me produce an audio version on my book, a memoir, and my experience was outstanding. If you are contemplating an audio book, you will not do better than Douglas. In addition to a state-of-the-art recording studio (please don't attempt an audio book in your home!), Douglas provided expert direction, coaching and advice. He carefully read the text as I was narrating it, noting any discrepancies or sound issues. He was 100% engaged and totally invested in the project's success. With great skill, reflecting many years of experience, he seamlessly inserted corrections, tightened pauses, adjusted the volume where needed -- his attention to detail is exquisite. I'm very proud of the high-quality finished product that resulted from my working with Douglas. He is a consummate professional and also takes great joy in what he does. An absolute pleasure to work with.
If you don't have what it takes to be a rock star, you will probably not be one when you leave Small Pond Studios. But John "Jazz" Abbott will make you sound as good as humanly and technologically possible with the talent you have, and the equipment he has. The man knows his sh*t, period.
Tony Morales is an excellent teacher. He taught out of my studio in St.Louis and was able to work with young and old alike. His creativity is inspiring and we were Very Happy with him. He is very talented and proficient in his violin skills.
Joe is the best music producer/studio operator/engineer I've had the pleasure to work with. His instincts are right on and his ability to bring out the best in the artist he works with is impressive. Easy to work with and Berklee educated, Joe Clar is highly recommended by me, Alex Raven.
I worked with Chris in the studio last year when he came in to help me with some vocal production. He worked with me on some harmonies on my newest CD “The Music To The Words I Write” Which you can hear on my website. He knew a lot about layering harmonies and which ones worked best with my songs. He was very professional and a great guy to work with. He was not the engineer on this record, but he knew his way around the studio. He comes from a musical family as well. My experience working with Chris was very positive. Can’t think of any flaws he had while working with me. I hope to work with him again in the future. Sincerely, Mike Gacek www.mikegacek.com
Tim was an incredible partner for Fermata Town on our debut album and we could not be more thankful. We are super proud of the final product, especially because we pushed ourselves to make a unique album that highlights our sound and the creativity in our arrangements. Tim exceeded our expectations and played a crucial role not just as the sound engineer but also co-producer. His skills and experience uniquely position him as one of the best partners any a cappella group could ask for in the studio. Everything we dreamed about for this project is now a reality, and we couldn't wait to come back to Tim for our next project!
Very profesional and has a good eye. He helped me record a music audition video and I am very pleased with the final product. The video came out great and the sound is excellent! He was great to work with - responsive to what I wanted, creative with ideas and he delivered the final product in a timely fashion.

I am an Emmy nominated TV commercial director, designer, and producer. I work in live action and mixed media and specialize in 2D character animation (hardcore Warner brothers style, not the common 3D moving graphic stuff). I am also an award-winning illustrator, cartoonist, and designer. I work in a wide variety of styles and mediums, from traditional handcrafted to state-of-the-art digital. My clients (such as Arnold Worldwide, Cartoon Network, WGBH, UppercrustPizzeria, Hill Holiday Advertising, BrickyardVFX, The FDA, Boston Globe, etc.) enjoy working with an eclectic artist who has an extensive production background, one who can understand their creative vision and then create it! I have a full-service production studio, hire crews as needed, and also work independently as a freelancer. I enjoy working on everything, from small budget local projects to major national ones.
