Anita was great- we ( my teenage daughter and I) did a private first yoga lesson to get introduced to the practice. Anita explained each pose - the how to do and health benefits. She also adjusted the difficulty of each pose to meet our capabilities. I plan to sign up for a group session with Anita that's starting in a couple of weeks based on the very positive first experience! Anita's a great teacher!

I've been taking Broga classes with Tim since the beginning of the year, and his classes have become a part of my week that I look forward to. He has a very calm demeanor and and explains the poses very well for newcomers. I'm not a morning person at all, but I'd get up early to take his morning class. I recommend Tim very highly whether you're new to yoga or have been practicing for years.
I recently decided to try yoga. I have never really done it before so I was really nervous about going to a yoga studio and being the only one that couldn't do it! A freind of mine suggested I contact Lisa. She was quick to respond and was extremely professional. I have had three private sessions so far and I can't say enough about her. I have leaned so much from her and she offers modifications for things I'm not able to do properly. I would highly recommend Lisa. She's an excellent instructor!
The Flying Irish Studio is a wonderful place to learn. The atmosphere is inclusive and supportive. I always wanted to try irish dance and when I started four years ago, I was delighted to find myself in class with others who were serious about learning but who also wanted a fun and relaxing experience. Mary-Sarah is a dedicated and caring instructor. She understands how adults learn differently than kids. She protects all her students by encouraging cross-training (such as yoga), correcting postures, and not allowing young or inexperienced dancers to toe-walk. Injuries are inevitable in any sport. When I hurt my foot, Mary-Sarah, the other students, and the students' parents all came to my rescue. This kind of attitude really is a remarkable thing at a dance studio. I feel very lucky to have these people, and irish dance, in my life.
Lora is a gifted teacher. She provides clear instruction and demonstration of yoga, as a result my yoga practice has improved considerably with her guidance. Add to that her warm and fun personality makes her yoga classes one of the best I have attended.

ShantiLoft Studio for yoga and reiki is a wonderful place to leave the outside world behind. Robin provides excellent guidance through Hatha yoga poses and meditation. It is with great pleasure that I write this recommendation for our Yoga Instructor at the YMCA, Cheryl Wolf. My first experience with Cheryl (as I was a complete novice to yoga) was that of warmth and immediate acceptance, no matter what level of practice (which for me, was at zero). She creates a nurturing, encouraging environment that allows everyone to grow at their own pace, in addition to inspiring each member to challenge themselves within their own practice. With the varying levels of expertise in the class, this effort could be daunting, but for Cheryl, it is comfortable and easy. I can truly say that no-one is left out, and everyone reaps the benefit of her instruction. Cheryl's teaching style is clear and meaningful, both in body and in spirit. Her well planned curriculum encompasses meditation, breathing, and yoga poses, where she is an active participant in all three. I have been to numerous other classes where this is not the case. In this way, Cheryl stands above all others and truly sets by example. Moreover, her message that yoga extends "off the mat" has been an inspiration to me personally and professionally.
