Todd was an amazing editor! He contacted me and was the perfect match for my manuscript. He completed the editing of my 90 page book in 6 days, one day earlier than predicted. His prices were very good and his contract was straight forward with no strings. He responds to emails quickly within the hour and he answered all questions I had about the writing process and formatting. I recommend him 100%.

David was a fantastic support with the opening chapter of my first novel. He provided excellent insights into my writing habits, great suggestions and ultimately focussed on where I could strengthen my story to keep the reader engaged. His editing was very valuable, and he responded almost immediately. I would work with him again and happily recommend others consider him also.

Diane is a phenomenal editor with an eye not only for the smallest detail but for the big picture as well. To begin with, she has done a wonderful job editing and proofreading my novels, not just catching typos or pointing out missing words, but finding inconsistencies in descriptions (people, places, things), timelines, etc. She has applied the same discerning attention to my non-fiction. Diane has also been editing and proofreading copy for my advertising business for more than two decades now. That copy has run the gamut from lengthy brochures to video scripts to print advertising to web content to sales presentations, and so on. Additionally, for my licensing business, she has done an equally superb job reviewing complex legal agreements. Bottom line: She has never failed to make my writing better in some way, whether it’s by flagging a phrase or sentence that could be clearer or by catching a typo. I always have a lot more confidence in the clarity and accuracy of my work after Diane has put her stamp on it.

From the first time I talked to Susan she was a great help to me . She is editing my book that I wrote and she was such a great help to me. She gave me encouragement to keep on going when at times I found it hard to write but I manage to get the manuscript done and I have to thank Susan for believing in me and how she encourage to keep on writing . A much needed kick in the butt on my manuscript, but hardly discouraging. She knew what I was trying to achieve and returned a thoughtfully edited manuscript with what worked and what needed revision. Could not be more grateful.

Bill Morse is a first-class teacher who does a truly excellent job showing students how to edit and print photos digitally. (I was a teacher myself for forty years, so I know a great one when I see one.) When I set out to learn Photoshop, I took an expensive weekend seminar. The instructor for the seminar was helpful and competent, but the subject matter was set by the assumed needs of students in a number of fields, and I didn’t find it very helpful. Bill, on the other hand, focuses on what a particular student needs to know. Photoshop is a notorious time-sink---one can get lost in it forever---but Bill keeps each student focused on the essentials and keeps out everything extraneous to the student’s interests and desires. He does an excellent job leading the student through the required steps while at the same time making the whole process clear, and in my case I felt I came away from each session energized and focused as well as technically stronger. My only regret is that I have not had time as yet to continue learning with Bill. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

We had a good experience with David. He was on time and set up quickly. Prior to the wedding we had a lengthy meeting to discuss the kind of pictures we would like. The pictures were on line in three days. The pictures were good and David did a good job capturing our special moment.

Sam was an integral part of my law school application process. He worked with me to write a fantastic Personal Statement and several Letters of Interest. His critiques were insightful and spot-on, his turnaround time was fast, and his professionalism was unmatched. I highly recommend Sam and RSSR Editing for any editing/drafting/writing needs - especially for help with graduate school admissions. Thank you Sam!

Simply put: Kat Setzer rescued the first essay I ever wrote-- which went on to win a major award; which attracted the attention of a grant organization; which gave me a grant to research the subject of the essay further; which became a book that will now be published in two months. And who did I give a draft of that book to, before I dared give it to my editor? Kat. And once again, she gave me amazing, astute, precise feedback. Kat can see when an essay starts in the wrong place; when its events would have more impact in a different order (the issue with that first essay-- she was totally right, as always); when a story's characters are undeveloped; when a different sentence or word would have more impact in a cover letter or professional document. I can't count up how many things I've given her to read over the years, but she's made every single one of them better, and made me sound smarter and more creative every time. She *sees* how to make them better, sees it even when no one else can. Pure editing wizardry.

As the CEO of Wireless Analytics and Sheila’s manager for 16 months, I feel that I know Sheila pretty well. Sheila was thrust into a position of ambiguity, and asked to juggle the role of three separate positions during an organizational transition: 1) Human Resource Manager; 2) Office Manager; 3) my executive assistant. In all respects, she approached the challenge with rigor and professionalism. She is reliable, trustworthy, empathetic and approaches her work and life with both humor and enthusiasm. In her position as Human Resource Manager, Sheila was responsible for front-line support to our 45+ employees. Because we never had a person in this role in the past, Sheila was asked to create new processes and procedures for the first time. Her excellent written communication skills made writing new operating procedures seem easy, and her verbal communication skills and people skills made our employees feel well supported. In her position as Office Manager, Sheila was responsible for supporting the office environment, managing inventory, ordering office supplies, interfacing with building management and a vast array of discrete projects. She juggled these tasks with competence and commitment. In her position of executive assistant, Sheila was one of the most patient and supportive employees that I have had the pleasure of working with. I am not an easy person to work with daily, and Sheila always arrived with a smile and rarely was flustered or frustrated (or at least she didn’t show it – which is the test of a true professional). Sheila takes the initiative to identify problems and devise solutions. She has shown that she is an intelligent person with a mind well-suited to the world of business. The financial decision to outsource human resource management to an outside company, and the hiring of a controller resulted in the elimination of Sheila’s position. Sheila has informed me that she intends to pursue a career more closely related to her field of expertise: publishing, copy editing and intellectual property rights. Based on her excellent writing ability, her editing skills, her ability to work with anyone, she clearly has the interest and ability to excel in this field. I therefore highly recommend her.
